They came out immediately with an estimate. They were properly staffed because of the hail storm, and they kept me on an organized waiting list where they were willing to work with you. They were also able to do special orders, custom work, and custom colors. They also offer a key less entry pad for free.

They are excellent and I would use them again.

We had a hail storm and they came to repair our overhead door for us. They were very easy to work with and they came out and gave me the price for the door even though it was covered by insurance. It was a price for May but they couldn’t install it until September. They were being very fair about the price. They were so busy; I had to wait a while to get the door installed. They did the best they could because they had so much to work because of the hail storm. I would use them again in the future.

I was really impressed with them. The installer called me before he came over. He had all of the equipment on the truck. He cut the piece of angle iron right then. He was only here probably 45 minutes to an hour. They were very professional.

Jim was courteous and did a great job installing the door opener. Also installed a key pad at the garage door opening. A quality system that is very quiet and has a lifetime warranty.

A spring on one of my my overhead garage doors broke the previous evening, and, as a result, I was unable to open the garage door. I called KODS in the early morning, and they were able to come out and make the necessary repairs that afternoon. While the service tech was there, he replaced the door's other spring and checked over a second garage door. The service tech arrived during the expected time window and handled everything very professionally.

EXEMPLARY! Its that simple. If you need a garage door fixed, these are the folks I recommend. The price was extremely reasonable and they were at our house when they said they would be. I am a HUGE advocate of Customer Service, in my book, there is no higher purpose. These guys exceeded my expectations! Thank you guys!!!!!

I called the company to report the problem at 1:00 p.m.; service technician arrived about 3:36 p.m. Repairs were complete by 4:00 p.m. Quick, courteous, professional. Technician thanked us and asked us to call back if any problems arise.

Repairman was very professional. I called Monday morning & they explained they were booked up for Monday and would be available Tuesday morning. They called before they came. Took about an hour. Excellent experience.

We have very old screw driven garage door openers. One of the door's spring broke and I called Kettering Overhead Doors for a repair service. They made the appointment for the next day. The serviceman was on time and very curtious. He had everything he needed on his truck and fixed the door in less than half an hour. When I asked him if there was anything we could do about the noise level of these old openers he suggested a tube of lubricant and sold it to me on the spot. Then he showed me how to oil the drive screw. He even took a look at my other opener and discovered a missing bolt which he replaced for free, and then he oiled that opener as well. They are so much more quiet it is almost like we have two new garage door openers. When it is time to replace these dinosaurs I will definitely call Kettering Overhead Door Sales to install new openers. Meanwhile, it looks like I might get a few more years out of the ones I have, and that means a lot to a family on a budget.

I called in the a.m. they arrived 4 hours later, saw that 1 spring was broken and must be replaced, asked if I wanted to replace both as 1 was $115 and both was $165- - -I replaced both---he oiled and lubed the screw and door and left in about 45 minutes---very satisfactory

They were quick and efficient. I was awestruck by how quickly they actually scheduled the appointment especially because the sand collapsed and I needed a new one. I would definitely use them again in the future.

They were great. My husband went to the place and picked something out. They scheduled for a time and said they had an opening a week ahead of time so they came out ahead of time. Everything was perfect.

We added insulation to our garage door and it added weight to the door enough that it was sagging and causing the motor to kickback and not close the door. We figured we would need a new motor since it was 15 years old. When the service man got there he looked over the problem and then seemed like he didn't want to do any work and said "why don't you just take out the insulation?" of course that was not an option for us since we spent the better part of 2 days to put it in. So he finally said he could either cut the current springs and re-hang them or cut some new springs to offset the new weight of the door. He also told me we needed a steel truss or brace to keep the door from sagging as it went up and down. He told me the options and the prices and then got to work. It was really cold that day and he never complained once he knew I wasn't going to take out the insulation. Once done, he greased everything and said we may be able to get away without getting a new motor for now. That saved us $300 that day.

We thought that we had to get a new garage door, but they fixed the gear for $40 or $50. They were very professional and prompt. They got the job done quickly too. I liked the fact that they billed us and so we didn’t have to pay right on the site.

We have used Kettering Overhead Door for several repairs for our 1960's garage doors. They have always performed an excellent job and are very professional. We haven't called them back on any of the jobs they have performed. They were highly recommended by the previous owners of the house.

Our existing Genie (1993) quit working. We had thought is was just the sensors but even to fix them it would have been $120. It is impossible to get parts for these openers now and it would not have been worth it put any more money into it. So, instead of paying to replace a 16 year old opener we just replaced it with a better brand (Liftmaster). They were able to install it within 2 days and showed up when they said they would. The installer was great. He even programmed my in-car opener for me. I would deffinitely recommend them.

The installers were about 30-40 minutes late. Other than that, they were great.
