I have used Kettering Overhead Door for years to service my garage door repair issues. Having to a new residence, I needed a new garage door opener system. I called to inquire about the different systems and the gentleman explained what was available. He suggested the unit I purchased as I did not require all the bells and whistles, however, it was an excellent unit and it fit my needs. The price of this unit was basically the same price as the other companies offered. Based on the quality service Kettering Overhead Door had provided on other occasions, I purchased the unit from their company. As always, I was given prompt and reliable service from their professional, yet friendly installers. I will not hesitate to call them for future service.

Excellent company to do business with. We had three quotes from others, but Kettering Overhead won out. The person doing the estimate was willing to listen to all our questions first rather than telling us what they wanted to do. The installers were very professional and personable. Complete job was done in ~1.5. Hours including tear down of old system and installation of new. We are very happy with our new garage door system and recommend Kettering Overhead Door overwhelmingly.

Service was available the day after I called. Technician arrived within the hours quoted to me. He worked quickly and efficiently. It is obvious he has expertise in this area. The springs (2) were replaced and the chain on the garage door opener was lubricated, all within an hour.

Next day service. Tech was running late and missed appointment window by a few minutes. Repair was performed quickly, courteously. Pete was ery professional.

I like that we can have one window done at a time without incurring any additional charges. I gave the company a B on price because I think $400 for one window is a little high; however, that seems to be the average cost for a window. So although they weren't lower than the competitors, they also weren't higher. Considering the fact that they had to break the old window with a hammer in order to get it out, I was pleasantly surprised that there was no glass left behind after they cleaned up. I do plan to use them again to replace the rest of my windows unless I find someone cheaper with a comparable window.

It went wonderful; it was substantially better than I expected.

New custom door was ordered from the factory and arrived in about 2 weeks, Installation was scheduled within 2 days of receipt of the new door from the factory. Old door was removed and taken away without any marks or damage to the existing walls or equipment. New door was installed for a perfect fit with close fitting trim pieces without any gaps in the opening when the door was closed. The whole removal of the old door and installation of the new door took less than 2 hours including cleanup.

Jason was our installer and he was terrific. The old doors were a mess but he and his partner removed them without making a big mess. They worked quickly and finished in a timely manner. Jason had to return with a few finishing touch up and He was so professional each time. He and his partner seemed to enjoy their jobs and their work reflected just that.

One of the springs on our overhead garage door broke so we called Kettering Overhead Door to fix it. Initially I was given an appointment window of 2-4 but at noon they called back and asked if they could come earlier. "Heck yeah!" How often does that happen? Josh was here within 15 minutes of the call. When he arrived he asked if I wanted both springs replaced and the price wsa good so I had him replace both. He fixed the door and as a bonus for me, oiled the squeaky rollers and the door so it operates much more quietly now. I couldn't be more pleased with the service or the price!

They sent out a tech named Josh. The most professional and courteous tech I have ever met. They came out in less than 24hrs and fixed everything for about $80 less than the competition. I was impressed at him taking the time to explain everything to my father. I will be using them for all my door needs.

I think that they did an excellent job. We had some unusual, German-made garage door openers. The company did not quite understand the new system. They had to spend a bit of extra time making sure the garage door worked, using the manual from the new system. They figured it all out. I am sure the call was longer than they expected, but they were great. They went above and beyond and even said they enjoyed the challenge.

The man they sent (Josh) was a very likeable guy and was obviously well versed in his trade. He worked quickly and and tested the door before he left.

I sent a request for a quote on July 12 after hours. I received a response at 10:30 a.m. today (15th) asking for a picture, because he was unable to open the picture I sent on July 12. I sent it right away and when I got home at 1:30 p.m., I checked my e-mail and he had responded with a quote of $109-130. I called him and he said someone could come today between 3 and 4. The man came at 3:25 and was done by a little after 4. It works! All the way to the floor. The charge ended up being $100.18. He gave me a senior discount without me asking for it.

I called before noon and they scheduled a visit between 1 and 2. The guy showed up around 2 and got right to work. He replaced both springs and was finished in less than 2 hours. Great job

It went very well. The workers knew what they were doing. I had to leave before the job was finished, which I hesitated to do, but they assured me that all would be taken care of in my absence - and it was. When I returned, they had finished, cleaned up after themselves and my lovely new system was waiting for me and ready to go.

I am pleased with Kettering Overhead Door, I think it was fine. The door that I replaced was pretty old and was with the house when I moved here and the price they charged was what I expected. They were very friendly and very nice when they came to put it in and I had a special request about which key I wanted to use, I wanted to use the same key which I had been using to get into the house because that would make it easier for me and they did that. I found them very cooperative and nice and they sent a representative to talk to me about it and helped me choose the door as per my needs. The quality of their work is good and the door is great. I went with a friend to her house and she couldn't get in through the back door because it had locked itself because it didn't have a locking device on the outside of the door and I have a key, so I can open the storm door from the outside.

The job went wonderfully. The repair men showed up on time. He was very friendly and personable. I had no issues with the service. He finished it in a couple hours.

The two gentlemen were very punctual even on a day when we had snow storm warnings. They replaced the whole system, programed it and was done in 30 minutes. The new opener is so quiet which is important since our bedroom is right above the garage. Awesome job! It may have been possible that we could have obtained a cheaper opener if we wanted to spend time shopping around. We did not.

Pete came out and replaced both springs (they always replace both at the same time-so you have the same amount of wear) tightened up everything and lubricated where it was needed. He was fast and considerate and in a half hour had everything done and was ready to go. These folks are some of the most professional people I've ever seen in any business, but if you need help with a new door, or you've got something going on with an existing door, they are the people to call! The cost was reasonable--the service was terrific!

The garage door had been damaged in a hail storm. Kettering Overhead Door came out to give an estimate, Gary, was punctual, very friendly and knowledgeable. Gary was also notified me that the company offered a military discount. Since our house was being painted Gary recommended we postpone installation until painting was completed. Once the house was painted we needed to change the color of the garage door needed, the company allowed us to do so without any problem. The installation went by quickly and without incident.

The saleman that came to give the estimate was very professional and answered all of my questions. He came in a timely manner. The gentlemen that installed the door however did not tell me that i needed to put a light bulb in the light with the opener so naturally when i pushed the button no light came on. They were not going to give me instructions on the operations either, i had to ask them before they left. When i called regarding the light my salesman quickly appeared and showed me how to install the bulb and was very apologetic for them not telling me about the light. All in all I am very happy with the door and the cost. I would not hestitate to call them in the future.

I would suggest going to the showroom in Kettering. You can see the quality of the front door and storm door before you order. They will come over to your home to measure and confirm your choices later. The salesman was very pleasant and he actually let me order what I wanted. Other salesmen told me I had to get a fiberglass door and it was not a good idea to get a mail slot. Not at Kettering door; steel door was fine and they offered an over sized mail slot. After 2 weeks 3 experienced techs installed my "system". They left my home and deck cleaner than it was before they arrived. They also gave me hints on using the invisible screen storm door. What i got is a brick red steel front door which is off white inside including molding. The storm door has the invisible screen and is brick colored. The hardware is bronze and also a bronze threshold. All I had to purchase was a doorbell which they installed. Now my house does not shake anymore when we close the door. Most important: I never have to paint my door and outside surround framing again. Lifetime transferable guarantee.
