Description of Work: Sales man came out was there about 3 hrs gave us a quote of $20,000 to do 16 windows but he then told us if we singed a contract today he could give it to us for $17,000. We went ahead & singed the contract to have it done. We wasn't really looking to get new windows & look around to see if that was high or on the $$. Found out it was a little high. We decided to cancel the contract in the allotted time. A few days later the owner of the company called me back wanted to ask a few questions I said ok. After he he ask his questions he told me that if I would let him come to my house & give him about 20 that he could save me thousands of $$ off the original quote. If they really wanted my business why didn't I get that quote in the first place.

Description of Work: Salesman came to house and was there about 5 hours. I did not want to decide that day..He told us that the Bargain price he was giving us would not be available after today...My husband said o.k. because he just wanted the purchase to be finished....I should have stuck to my instincts...We could have gotten the same quality from another company for less than half the price... The salesman was pleasant. The gentleman who installed the windows was one of the best I have ever seen...Nice person and had all seven windows installed by himself in less than 4 hours...

+ -1 moreThe installer arrived at 11 am and completed the work by 8 pm. Quality of Materials: The salesman told us the material would be 1/4and quot; thick and not the thin material we see at home improvement stores and we were shown a sample of the material. Neither the tub cover nor the surround were 1/4and quot; thick. The thickness was comparable to a surround we had purchased from Lowe's for another bathroom. Quality of Workmanship: The pipe was not level when installed, so tub water spout has a slight tilt upwards. Inside corner of tub near shower head pools water towards corner. Tub has some give in one spot along wall (which I anticipate will cause a problem in the future). Hole was cut through opposite (bedroom) wall when removing drywall. We had understanding that the silicone caulking would be applied to the back of the unit and totally sealed from behind/underneath. The silicone was actually applied on the outside and was excessive at ceiling and corners was uneven. We were told that the drywall around the tub would be removed and replaced to the ceiling, so I did not remove the old wallpaper and excess mud from drywalling. Drywall was only replace to top of old tile and there was a small edge that new wall unit did not cover due to out-of-square wall. Caulking was applied over the old wallpaper and mud so I had to scrape it all off to remove the old wallpaper and reapply the caulk.
Description of Work: Shower and tub liner installation. Removed existing ceramic tile and drywall, replaced plumbing and drywall and installed liner over tub and new drywall. Replaced shower head and fixtures.
