Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I spoke with our technician who visited your home in May. We took the time to review the notes he made. He determined there was a leak due to the absence of refrigerant in the system. Our pricing model include set pricing and a leak can be expensive to fix depending on the component that may need to be replaced. This would be found through a leak search which did not occur. There may have been some confusion about the price due to the fact that you were quoted for a complete replacement AC unit. Commonly, when a customer is faced with a major repair on an older unit, we like to also provide them with a quote for a new AC as well in case they would like to use this time as an opportunity to upgrade prior to incurring maintenance off. I saw that he even noted special discounts off the purchase price given your situation. I regret that this miscommunication occurred. Description of Work: They actually put me on the list to work me in the week I called rather than making me wait until the next week. Replaced a capacitor in my air conditioning unit while I was at work. Called as soon as the work was done and was very nice and professional. The house was cool for the first time in a week. I would recommend to anyone.

We had a contract with them. When our contract was over they told us that they were not sevicing our area anymore. They were very thorough. They were knowledgeable about what they were doing.

The crew arrived on time and set to work, putting things in order to remove and replace the old AC unit with a smaller but more efficient model. They were thorough, professional and the attention to detail was excellent. I would recommend them to anyone needing AC Service or replacement.
Description of Work: 15 year old Air Conditioning unit was extremely low on refrigerant and it was iffy that it would last the season (now we know the season was only a week--but I digress). Extreme's representative gave me all the details, talked to my spouse on the phone and we said replace the poor old thing, it needs a rest.

Our 20-year-old heat pump needed to be replaced, so I sought four estimates. All four were fairly close, but my impressions of the persons giving the estimates varied a great deal. (The first words one person said as she walked in the door were, "I need to use your bathroom." She then proceeded to complain about a fellow employee- not a good first impression!) Doug, the Extreme representative, was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. The men installing the unit were professional, helpful, and worked hard to complete the job in good time. They left the job site completely clean. We were "Extreme"ly pleased!

The technician was professional and he did repair the furnace; however, he was late by an hour and a half and I was grossly over charged for a circuit board. Charged $400.00 for a board that truly cost $100.00.

EXTREME DIDN'T FIDDLE AROUND AT ALL, BECAUSE THEY HAD THE WHOLE THING PUT IN LESS THAN ONE DAY. THE WORKERS WERE ALL VERY PUNCTUAL, AND IT SEEMED LIKE EVERYONE HAD THEIR OWN JOB TO DO.
