Installer arrived during time window. Called to notify me he was on his way. Did not have part with him, as this was an older door. Checked stock and waited for another truck to bring part and installed part with no problems. Installer was courteous. I did not get additional estimates so no way of knowing if price is standard.

They were prompt and quick to respond.

My initial contact with this company was when I visited their Troy, Ohio location, after finding them on Angie's List, to see their products first hand. The salesman there was very polite, friendly and proffesional. He showed me their products and informed me of their differences, but did not try to influence me in my choices. The salesman (Larry Edwards) who came to my home to look at, measure and so on about the old doors, and to write up the contract for the new doors, was very friendly and professional. We had a very nice chat. We scheduled the installation for January 6, 2014, then the winter storm hit hard! Brian (Dayton Door scheduler) called to reschedule the job for January 21st due to the wind, snow, sub zero temperatures and wind chill. Having retired from a job where I worked outside, I appreciated the fact that this company cared about the health and safety of their employees. Management behind a desk usually don't have a clue, or care about their outside people. Brian called me to say that their man would be here between 8 & 9 AM on the 21st. The morning of the 21st was very cold and windy.As I live on open, high ground, the wind chill was very cold. But, shortly after 8 AM, Monte arrived. My unattached garage faces into the west, which meant that Monte would be working on the windy side of the garage. He did not hesitate to begin. He introduced himself, verified what he was there to do and got right to work. The job took about 8 hours, which was very reasonable since he had to remove two overhead doors, all rails and hardware, electric openers and install everything new, all while braving the cold. He did a very neat and professional job, cleaned up all debris, explained the remotes,doors,openers and keypad to me and made sure that everything operated properly. I am very pleased with my new doors, the way they look and operate.I am very impressed with Dayton Door Sales, not just for there product, but with the "Top Notch People" that they employ! I would most definately recommend them! I feel confident that if I should have any maintenance or repair issues with the doors in the future, that I will be treated promptly and fairly by Dayton Door Sales.

The job went very well. It took less than a half hour to get the garage door operating again. The technician was very proficient and professional, explained what the problem was and what caused it.

The tech showed up as promised (unusual for Dayton Ohio) and was very professional and courteous. He was very knowledgeable about the door, fixed the issue, and was extremely professional in the explanation of what caused the door to malfunction. The price was comparable to others in the area, it was all inclusive, and they were able to repair the door the next day!!! I cant praise this work enough. He arrived on short notice, he performed as expected, and everything works as it should. I like this company so much, I have them coming to the house for other work. Highly recommend the company to anyone with door issues (or people looking for new doors) in the Dayton Ohio area

Ben was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. We called morning of Christmas Eve and they were able to fit us in shortly after lunch. Straightforward company to work with. Will call them again if needed, but may not need to with this nice new setup.

Replaced the rubber strip at the bottom of the garage door.

They came promptly, worked efficiently, and answered all questions. I was most pleased with the cost, the repair, and with Jimmy who did the work.

The gentleman arrived right on time. Removed my old garage door and installed the new one within several hours. Was courteous. Friendly. Answered all my questions. And did a good job. I did ask the company to return later to raise the bar across the top so it was even. He said they usually only have it lower in the middle if there is a ceiling beam in the way - and there was not. Cleaned everything up and took the old garage door with him. It is a quality door and I look forward to having a more sealed garage this winter.

The service technician (Montee) came from the store in Troy - and was fantastic. A constant professional - he was efficient and thorough and incredibly polite through the entire install. He even reprogrammed the door keypad to work both the single and dual garage doors we have. Service originally scheduled for 3 weeks out, but received a call a few days after scheduling that they could move things up. Montee was punctual, called ahead and finished the work exactly when he said he would. The Angie's List coupon even paid for the keypad. I absolutely will use Dayton Door Sales again in the future and I hope that Montee is my tech. Wonderful job guys!

Customer service was excellent on the phone. Repair person called before arriving. Work was done very quickly and was done properly. Prices were given before work began.

Pricing was very competitive. Very professional team from sales to service. When door was ordered they received the wrong one. But they were able to get the correct door quickly and our installation was only delayed a couple of days. Installation went very well but after the installers left the garage door malfunctioned - opened on its own and wouldn't close. I called the office and although our install team was already on another job, they sent a different install team within 15 mins of my call. It turned out to be a pinched wire. It's worked perfectly since and we are very pleased! We will definitely use them again.

I've used Dayton Door Sales previously to replace the French doors in my great room and master bedroom, so I knew they would do a great job. I couldn't be happier with the products they sell and the installation service that they provide.

They have fantastic people. They are very professional and very nice people that help customers.

RE the garage door: The work was done so fast for such a large job, but at the same time EXCELLENT quality. Very professional and easy to work with. The workers were very professional and friendly. I had one minor issue a couple months later with an opener that went defunct. It was a product issue, not their fault. They replaced promptly and were great to work with then too. RE the exterior doors: Great quality work, and nice selection to choose from. They may be a little higher priced than other suppliers, but the value and workmanship is worth it.

I waited 6 months to review their job. Every things worked out very well and are still functioning well. They offer the best price among three different vendors. They did a very good job to install the door and the quality of doors are also very high. I highly recommend them.

My garage door was struggling to open, and shaking when it closed. I recently increased the opening force on the garage door opener, which burned up the gears inside. I replaced those, but the problem persisted. I contacted Dayton Door Sales on 1/22/2013 to have them adjust it. They quoted me somewhere in the neighborhood of $300-$350 to replace both springs and add some weatherstripping around the outside of the door (missing since purchasing the house). I set up the appointment well in advance so that I could take the time off from work. Dayton Door Sales called shortly before arriving, and got right to work. Ryan looked at the springs, and decided that they weren't broken, but just needed to be adjusted. He tightened the torque on the springs and adjusted the garage door opener. The door now opens and closes smoothly, and I haven't had any real problems with it since. Ryan removed the old weatherstripping, but didn't have the right color to match my door (I wasn't sure what color it was, and gave them the wrong color on the door). They agreed to come back two days later and install the correct weatherstripping while I was at work. It looks great, and the door opens and closes like it should.

Our garage door de-railed and we did not notice that it had stopped about a foot from the top. When we backed out of the garage, the top of the van clipped the door and pulled it nearly completely off one rail. I thought that we would need a new door, but the service tech came out, replaced faulty brackets and wheels and completely serviced the garage door. It works better than ever now.

Our house garage door - an oversized commercial door - derailed last night. I called Dayton Door Sales this morning and they arranged for a guy to come out and repair it within 2 hours of my call. He corrected the door, replaced the offending caster/wheels and put the door back into operation within an hour. I'm very pleased.

Serviceman arrived on schedule, was friendly, courteous and professional. Upon leaving he stated that if I had any problems (which I have not as yet) to please call Dayton Door Sales and they will be glad to come out and fix the problem.

Jim, our installer, called the morning of the agreed install and told us when he would arrive. He was informative, explained the process, and completed the installation with the same care I would have used. He cleaned up as he went so there was never any mess.........in 3 hours the install was complete and we had a new garage door. Same quality and professional installation as we experienced with our front door. I would recommend Dayton Door to anyone who values quality and professional work.

Visited showroom to see products and get understanding of the different products available. Personnel were very helpful and knowledgeable. Decided to get quote from Dayton Door as well as other companies on Angie's List. Dayton Door was not the cheapest proposal but they did honor a verbal price from the salesperson. We decided to purchase the ThermaTru door based on its quality and Dayton Door's reputation/ratings on Angie's List. Within a week after placing the order they called to set an installation date. Installation team of Bryan and Todd showed up on the scheduled morning and proceeded to remove the old door, being very careful not to damage the door opening, wall, or floor. They cleaned up as they went. The door, inside and outside color was perfectly matched as wanted and exceeded our expectations. Bryan and Todd went beyond expectations to insure the installation was to our desires. They were professional, courtious, and informative. They completed the job by 3PM, cleaned up and accepted our thanks for a job well done. Thanks Bryan and Todd for a super job.

They do an excellent job. He completely fixed the garage door opener and cleaned it up and returned it as good as new. All for $100 which I thought was pretty good.
