The initial phone contact was very helpful and provided me a cell number for the rep for my area. The rep for my area, Laura, was also very helpful - she was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. She provided me an estimate via email within just a few hours. She was honest that she had other appts in the afternoon so would not be able to do the estimate until the late afternoon and she delivered on that promise.

Thy were prompt and had good feedback. It was a good value and they were very responsive to correcting any issues that we thought there were.

They wanted payment right away before I had a chance to inspect the work in order to pay his workers. My wife paid them with VISA so that we had some recourse if the work was not satisfactory. After inspecting the work it was very apparent that they did not apply two coats of paint in large areas or did not apply enough paint too properly seal the cedar siding as per the contract. I called to complain and the representative Lin Behnken said someone from warranty issues would contact me. It has been almost two weeks and no contact and no answer when I call Lin. I am in the process of hiring a certified paint inspector. I am also contacting Visa to reverse the charges. This will probably end up in court. I painted the house myself ten years ago applying two coats of paint and know what it should look like with two coats of paint. Cedar must be painted properly to cover and fill all the rough surface and fine cracks in rough sided cedar. I should have never paid this vendor before inspecting the work.

We received an estimate from CertaPro to paint about 90% of the interior of our home (over 3000 square feet). The estimate was very detailed which allowed us to pick and choose what rooms we wanted to paint and which areas of trim we felt it necessary to paint. The estimate also included two different options for drywall repair as we had one wall in our two story foyer that was poorly installed and showed imperfections. The estimate included all details of the drywall repair options as well as payment terms (which is payment upon completion/satisfaction) and all prep work included in the cost. We were also able to use a color consultant from Sherwin Williams, free of charge, who came to our home to help us choose the right colors for each room. We did an estimate in May and since we wanted to do most of the house all at once, we waited some time until we actually scheduled the work.Between the date of our estimate and our scheduled painting, we received a few communications and follow-up through mail and phone calls. One letter included a way to save 10% off our total paint project. At this time, we chose to schedule and take advantage of the discount. There was no fine print attached to the discount, 10% off the total of the estimate! Given the number of rooms being painted and the large wall needing drywall repair, the project was scheduled for 3 full days. The crew of four arrived on time each morning and immediately got to work. Our project manager, Tony, did a great job of communicating progress daily. He walked through each room with me the first day to confirm colors and any additional details. As they began painting, he would be sure to ask me any questions before they dove in to make sure they were meeting my expectations. At the end of each day, he would walk through the completed rooms with me and make sure all was well. The crew was polite, covered the floors and any furniture or decor in the room and cleaned up daily. There was a lot of dust resulting from skimming and sanding the two story foyer but they were able to tape off the open area and contain the dust for easy clean up. They worked fast but did not compromise the quality of work. We had a couple walls painted with horizontal stripes and the attention to detail in painting these was much appreciated and they turned out great! We also had one area of paint (intended to be red) color matched for a particular shade of red. When the paint was ready, they did a small area on the wall and got my approval before they continued. The paint turned out to be a dark pink as opposed to red and they immediately were on the phone with Sherwin Williams attempting to fix the issue and find the perfect shade of red. I really appreciated their help and responsiveness to this issue (which was entirely our fault, not theirs). It showed that they wanted to get it right and ensure my satisfaction. Overall, I was pleased with the work performed, thought the price was fair, the job was completed on time and met expectations. I would definitely recommend CertaPro to anyone looking to paint their home. We intend to hire them again for interior painting and exterior painting as needed.

Certa Pro did a very professional job... from start to finish... After I told them I was wanting them to do the job it was done within unexpected time..... I even changed the color of my house and it looks great.. Certa Pro of Dayton did a great job and I would recommend them to my friends and family....

Liked the quote and contract process. All delivered quickly and detailed the the total work to be accomplished and cost. Cost was slightly higher than some independent contractors, but they did not do a very good job of quoting nor contracting. The sub contractors who did the work were as good as any we've had. Very plesasent and hard working.

A very professional organization and process. The estimate and work were completed promptly, efficiently and with a personal touch as well. In addition to our initial request, they pointed out and repaired a couple of areas that I'd not noticed earlier. Their suggestions about paint, shades etc. were very helpful in improving the curb appeal of our home. The crew was professional and courteous while remaining focused on the job at hand. Their attention to detail as well as experience/expertise was readily apparent. Everything went smoothly, quickly and was finished to our complete satisfaction...thanks Angie!

The painters were great and did and an overall great job. There were a few missed nail pops on the walls that didn't get fixed and they did paint over a few nails. When we tried hanging the pictures back up, the anchors they were attached to were actually embedded in the paint. We had to move the anchors which in turn peeled the paint off the wall. Other than those few minors details they painters were fabulous! The sales process was great at the start. I liked how professional he was but there was a communication break down when it came time for payment. There were some changes made and I didn't get a copy of the updated agreement so the total I had and the total that was due was different. But the gentleman that sold the job worked with me and gave me the correct pricing. Overall a great experience and I will refer to anyone looking to have their home painted. I will be calling soon to see they will return to stain our deck.

I made an appointment for an estimate on a 3300 square-foot home exterior paint job. I thought the appointment was on Sep 6th, but they recorded it as Sep 4th. In either case we we're home, but no one showed.No knocks on the door or any notes left in the door. I don't believe they''re interested in residential work, maybe too small a job.

Lin showed at appointed time. We discussed my needs as we toured my home then Lin went to his vehicle to prepare his bid. Once he was ready we discussed his detailed bid that spelled out all the details. After reviewing 3 quotes, CertaPro was selected. Brian, Ronnie & Justin showed on the scheduled day & began. They preformed in a very workman like manor & accommodated all my requests. Overall I was very pleased & satisfied. Would recommend CertaPro & would use them again.

Outside work looks great. Inside, the walls were not prepped well before being painted, so the walls are not smooth in some areas. Inside corners.lack paint in several areas. Upstairs, paint was dropped in the carpet. Downstairs, there was paint in several areas of the floor (on laminate). I chose a dark color in the foyer and the doorbell cover was not protected from the paint, so the white cover has dark paint all over the top section. Definitely better than I could have done, but I expected better from professionals.

They were very professional and came back after the job was completed to go over everything thoroughly to make sure that I was satisfied with everything.

A sales guy came and gave us an estimate in September of 2011. We wanted the job done in the early fall of the same year but the guy said later they were all booked pretty solid before the weather gets cold. The guy suggested If I could wait until the Spring of 2012, maybe call him in February or something, he could give us a discount. So I did. I called the sales guy in February, left a few messages but he never called back. Just when we were about giving up the company and looking for others to do the job, another sales lady sent us a soliciting letter for any paint job, without knowing the "story" we had with the other guy. She was eager for the business, explained the other guy had quit the job, and willing to honor the discount we were promised earlier. The whole job was completed in 2 and a half days. It was done pretty well except they took all the shutters down, painted them on the lawn (with some clothes underneath) then put them back up. Some of the shutters could not stay well after that and became loose afterwards. It was an ordeal for me to keep calling them back to reattach the loose shutters. This year, 2013, I have referred my next door neighbor to the company but warned them about the shutters. The workers who are painting my neighbor's house (not the same crew I got last year) said they are no longer allowed to take down shutters because there were a lot of problems in the past. By the way, there is a 2-year warranty for any painting job they do. If you need to contact them during the time, call the sales person, not the company. I've learned my lesson.

Overall, the experience was very good. They did a very nice job and worked really hard. The lead painter was particularly good. I know there were a couple of days when the guys on his team did not show or could not come for some reason; but he was always here when he said he would be. The job took a little longer than expected but that was not a problem; my main concern was that they did a good job. I was pleased.

We were very impressed with everyone we came in contact with from the estimate to the completion of the project. Laura came to our home for the estimate. She was very professional, informative, and answered all of our questions. The quote was presented at the end of the estimate. Chris was the project foreman/painter. He was professional, punctual, and thorough. He cleaned up the work area at the end of each day. It took a little more than a week to complete the project-weather was a factor. We will definitely use CertaPro in the future!

The crew from CertaPro (Shawn was the foreman) arrived on time every day and cleaned up each day when they left. At the end of the day, Shawn always let me know what was completed that day and what would be happening the next day. We had some issues with cold weather, but they organized things so they could be completing the inside work during those times. The painting work was all done well. The drywall repair work was just a spectacular job, very thorough. They started by pressure washing the exterior, including some brick which wouldn't be painted. They sanded the areas that needed it and then did a complete job of repainting the exterior, matching their paint to the existing color (at my request). The drywall work inside required some repainting after, and they painted the entire ceiling (in a very large room and hallway) so there would be no issue with paint lines. They moved anything that needed to be moved (and put it back after) and covered everything well, so all our furniture, flooring, etc., was protected. Overall, I can't say enough good things about this crew. They were polite, hardworking, and conscientious, and the work was done properly. I would definitely hire them again.

The salesperson was very professional and prompt. The quotation was received at the end of the sales call. The crew did an excellent job and communicated well. We were very pleased with the final product.

I was contacted by Residential Sales Associate when-in 24 hours of calling the company, about my fence painting job. I met with the sales associate soon after. She was very professional and provided me with an estimate right away. After signing the contract, I was given a start week date. The job was started on-time. The crew foreman contacted me when he arrived at my house to verify information and give me the schedule of what would take place. The crew power washed my fence, scraped off old paint, primed and caulked the fence and painted my eighteen year old fence. It looks like new. I would recommend CertaPro for any exterior painting job.

We originally called CertaPro of Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky. However, we were out of their area, and we were referred to CertaPro of Dayton. Their estimate included more work than other estimates we got, yet CertaPro of Dayton came in $600 lower than the lowest estimate of the other companies. All the CertaPro of Dayton employees were courteous and professional. We would definitely use them again.

I was very impressed especially during my initial contact with them. Laura, the woman who came out to talk to me and discuss their services, was very professional. I like that she brought a notebook filled with professionally done brochures that contains the information on the paint they use, the colors, and all of their services. It also had a large section of customer service evaluation with the names, and contact numbers of the people who you can contact to make sure of their existence. They guys who came out to paint the house did a great job. They were always prompt. They always left everything very neat and tidy. Trey, the team leader, was always great coming to me at the end of the day, to inform me of the status of the job, where they were, what they were doing, and what they plan to do next. They used a lift to get to the upper story of the house, and it left tire marks on the lawn. Trey, came back out, and filled it with top soil and sod. Now, you cannot tell that anything ever happened to the lawn.
