CertaPro Painters® of Dayton

CertaPro Painters provided their A+ team of Mario and his crew to paint the outside of our house. In two days, they meticulously painted our shakes, trim, gutters, downspouts, front and rear-porch metal railings as well as our deck. After they were done, I walked around the house with Mario to make sure everything was fine including no paint splatters. Everything looked great. They did an outstanding job and I certainly would hire them again to paint our house. CertaPro provided all of the paint for the job.

I had CertaPro Painters paint my house and my deck. The work was excellent and the finished price was in totally line with the estimate they provided. The only price adjustment was for the additional carpentry required to replace some rotting wood they discovered. The total cost was a bit more than I expected, though, with the price for the house being nearly twice what I paid 6 years ago and the deck roughly three times what I paid previously. I did not get multiple estimates so their price may well have been comparable across the industry.

I hired them to paint the exterior and some of the interior of the YMCA in Greenville, OH. It went smoothly and quickly. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing painting done.

We have used CertaPro of Dayton in the past, so it was a no-brainer to have them repaint our home’s interior. Our saleslady, Jessica, did a great job quoting, and then adjusting our quote, which helped out a lot. Tony & his crew did a fantastic job, period! It was pretty amazing how well they all worked together. They all had excellent skills at painting & especially, how easy all three made the cut-work look to do. They were excellent to work with, did a wonderful job, and we’re very happy with the results. It was a pleasure to interact with them while they were in our home. We would certainly use CertaPro again, and would highly recommend Tony & his crew. Many thanks from us!!!

They were excellent, I was very pleased with their work. They were very professional. They also did painting for my son, and they went above and beyond my expectation.

This is a very efficient company. I got three estimates and the estimate from CertaPro was the best competitive and comprehensive estimate. Justin came around and gave me a written and detailed estimate in 45 minutes. I received a copy via my e-mail the same day. The office scheduled the job, Oscar from the production team and his crew came around and finished the job in 3 days. I have a red brick home, they painted the soffits, gutters, downspouts, garage door, front entry door frame, all frames, enclosed porch exterior fascia, and all wood trim/fascia I can't ask for a better experience. I am a happy customer. Definitely, I will recommend them and hire them again.

Unfotunately, our experience with CertaPro was not at all a positive one. The painters did not prep the exterior surfaces, they only sprayed paint on which lead to paint sprayed on our mailbox, ourdoor lights, and patio table because they did not take the time to hand paint those areas. They did not treat or prep the damaged wood before painting. They did not clean or prep shutters, rather they painted over dirt and chipping paint leaving a terrible finished product that we are now refinishing ourselves. They did not use the correct paint for concrete and those areas are already chipping. They did not clean up afterthemselves, leaving an afternoon of clean up and putting furniture and outdoor lighting back together for the home owners . CertaPro contacted me following the job and asked about my satisfaction level. They reassured me they would notify the necessary team leaders. I have yet to hear back from CertaPro. I do not recommend this company, and I would not hire them again.

The guys painting did a good job but said that they couldn't do anything about the woodpecker holes. They said that the office would call and let me know a solution. They never called, in hindsight I should not have paid them. I emailed and was told it would be another $600.00 to finish the job. I wanted it done so I agreed. They set up two appointments and no one ever showed up. After 10 emails and 2 months later, the job is still not done. They actually told me to find someone else to do - they didn't have the time. Jacob Banks is the person I have been trying to contact.

I don't want to be angry today, but I keep finding messed up paint spots all over my trim, hardwood floor, on my blinds, and carpet from the CertaPro painters. They were supposed prep first which meant filling nail holes, removing old cracked paint, filling any area that needed some TLC before painting. My quote included prepping and I paid a lot for this terrible work. I should have just painted myself and saved money I am spending the day repainting and cleaning what they messed up. This is just terrible. They did not do a professional job. If you need painting done in the Dayton area do not hire them.

Supervisor was professional as well as the crew. They cleaned up each day. Very happy with the results. Would definitely hire them again!

We had a wonderful experience with the crew at our property. Carlos was the best! Everyone we encountered was courteous and professional. They were punctual and communicated with us throughout the whole process, making sure we were satisfied. I think the painters were as excited about how great it turned out as we were! It was fun to see a team so proud of their work. Would definitely recommend these guys!

Everything was great. Ervine was the gentleman who preformed the work and he was so friendly and efficient. His work was completed quickly and done to perfection. If I ever need anymore rooms painted, I will hire CertaPro again and request Ervine to complete the job for me. The cost was very affordable for the 2 walls and ceiling that I had painted. It was the final step of my kitchen remodel and I could not be more pleased.

Justin of CertaPro was quick to respond and was responsive to all communications. Their painter, Irwin, was on time, worked quickly, did a great job. These folks helped us get a job completed that was abandoned by the horrible contractor we had hired previously who did substandard work and took personal property beyond what they had been permitted to take (we were having them do work on our Mother's home who had passed recently). The walls in the kitchen had wallpaper on them, which had been removed, but the walls needed final prep (some mudding), the drywall around a plug needed repaired, and all walls and ceiling needed painting. I will definitely recommend their services and Irwin in particular if requests for crew can be made.

Painting of the walls was fine and quality decent for that. In the end all the painting was OK but there was a fine paint splatter over many sections of our hardwood floor, natural wood baseboards, some picture frames, some furniture. They did not adequately mask floor boards, they did not use drop clothes to protect the hardwood floors when painting the ceilings, etc. This was inexcusable, spent hours scrubbing hardwood floors with hardwood floor cleaner and a scrub brush. CertaPro offered to bring the same painters back in to try and fix the problem; who wants the same people that created the problem through carelessness or lack of knowledge to come back in to try and fix it. Would not use them again.

The painters were very efficient and professional. The estimator was very responsive and explained the process quite well. The front office was not always easy to access. All in all a very positive experience

Very prompt, worked the entire time with maybe a 1/2 hr lunch. Not a lot of wasted time. The paint jobs look great. They filled in some small holes and some wear and tear on the walls then did a great job painting.
