I found them on Angie’s List and I would never recommend them. I was really upset with them. I went to Ohio because one of my brothers was donating his kidney to the other. I wanted to deal with the tree service while I was there. I used this company but I was really disappointed with them. I called them back because I had paid them extra to have the surface roots removed, which were still there after they had completed the work. I called them back out, but nobody called me back. Initially, I called them for an estimate. It took about a week of communication to and fro to get a written estimate from them. They did not call to confirm the appointment date. They showed up at 8:00 a.m. I was still in bed, but I had to get up and deal with them. I did not know that they would be there; they had not informed me about the time. My husband was okay with the incident as long as they did a good job. They were very quick about taking down the tree. I had to get top soil and bark brought to cover the mess. They told me that if I had told them they would have brought the same in. They had not provided me with the information beforehand that they would provide that service. So, I asked them the price for the same. They said they would let me know when they could get the same in for me. I did not hear back from them. So, I asked another company for the topsoil. These guys showed up after that with the bark. They were not communicative and professional at all. I spent about $750 on the job. They had the best price at that time. However, I did find better prices later. I will not use them again in the future.

They were certainly very fast and over all they did a good job. I find their price fair enough. As for quality I would like to break it up into two things. They did a good job of stripping the mulch. I don’t know if they know what they are talking about because as for mulch itself it was not the permanent black. It was not the quality I was expecting. I will use them in the future.

Aaron's tree service came the day they said they would, although if the weather had been really bad they said they wouldn't be able to come that day. They got there in the morning and cut down 9 honeysuckle bush/trees in my yard. They were as tall (maybe taller) as my two story home so they had a lot of work. These bushes are tough to cut down due to the branches intertwining . I suspect that is why it takes a little bit of time. It was a little pricey because we had to get the stumps ground up and that alone cost about 240 dollars. They were finished cutting all of it down within a couple hours. Then they spent another hour to grind the stumps. They did a VERY good job on all things. One of the men even found a maple that had bee growing amongst them and they told me they would leave it if I wanted. I decided to keep it and see if it turns out to be a nice tree. They cleaned up very well. This is the second time we have used Aarons and we will continue to call on them for quotes on tree removal. The workers really do a good job of working together and getting the job done. And they communicated well with me and my husband. One of the men, can't remember his name, has been super kind and tried to make my toddler laugh. He seems to enjoy his job very much. (I know that's not very relevent, but as a woman, you want to feel like the people at your house are safe, and after using them twice, I would not feel hesitant to ask most of them questions, so it matters if the workers seem happy doing what they do) In fact , It seems like the owner does a great job of keeping employees because most of the faces were the same from last year to this. And one of the employees was telling me how long each of the guys have been there. Thank you again Aarons tree service. Oh yes, and my yard looks so much nicer without those invasive plants.

They seemed very professional. What I liked about their service is they do the whole kit and caboodle, they also offer landscaping. They were willing to give me recommendations for landscaping the back yard. I will probably look into their service in the future but I just have too much going on right now.

I chose Aaron's from Angies list. Key thing for me was the boom truck they had pictured on their website. The tree was so close and leaning over the house I thought the boom was key to an event free removal. I've had tree work done before so was familiar with approximate costs. Aaron's estimate was right in line so I didn't get any other estimates. Paying less doesn't always mean a better experience. We opted to keep the stump for holding a planter. Went very well. Called Thrusday for Aaron's to provide an estimate to remove a small, 15 foot sugar maple tree from my front lawn. The completed the estimate the same day and left paperwork for me. I was not required to be at home which was helpful. The following day, I called Aaron's and asked that they schedule the work and complete when they could. Representative said they would try to do the job the same day. However, he stated that if the work was not completed Friday, it would likely be Monday. I agreed. Representative from Aaron's arived at my house on Saturday and asked if he could complete the work, which he did. Fast, efficient and did exactly as I asked. Professional, courtious service and I'm pleased with the price and work completed. Good guys, I recommend for tree service.

I will start first with a kudos to the workers, they were very friendly and professional and did a great job with clean up. Other then the logs we had them leave and the ground up stumps, you couldn't tell a tree had been cut down. No twigs or leaves left behind. They showed up about 9:20 a.m. and got started. If you are a freak about your lawn being perfectly green you may not want trees taken down at all. because those machines that turn the branches to mulch run REALLY hot and will most likely burn your grass especially if it's been dry for a while, as it was when they came. But I am certain all the mulchers run hot regardless of company name. Most of the workers were wearing a uniform t-shirt, which means to me that there is a higher level of professionalism. My first call to get a quote was answered by a very friendly man . I got my quote the next day. I do want to explain my slightly lower scores on responsiveness and professionalism. My husband contacted the gentleman who had come and given us the quote in the first place and said that he seemed short and uncaring whether we went with them or not. I thought he was just being critical until I called one morning and spoke with Daryl (I believe that is his name) and he did seem annoyed and short with me, although I was just wanting to get an answer to a question that my husband had emailed him about and not gotten a response yet. I just think if you own a business and your livelihood depends on it's success you would do your best to make each potential client know that their business is important to you. In the end they offered the BEST price and seemed the most knowledgeable. The website is very informative and made me feel even more confident in their ability to do a great job. Not to mention the great reviews I saw on here. Kudos to Aarons tree service, I hope whoever is responsible for talking with potential clients receives this as constructive criticism and not mean spirited. The workers were great . The price is great. The quality is great. I would definitely use them again and will recommend them to our friends and family. ps. the competition is fierce with these tree people and a couple of the company's have a tendency to talk badly about the competitors. Aarons did NOT do that, and I appreciate it, because it always looks bad to me when you have to criticize another company to get business for yourself. Thank you Aarons for doing a great job, for people on a limited budget.

I called Friday morning for an estimate. They did the estimate that same evening and performed the work the next morning. They had a crew of 4 and got the job done in about 3 hours. The equipment left some tire tracks in the grass but they did an excellent job of removing all the limbs, leaves, etc. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Over all I didn't like anything about this company. 1: Phone etiquette was bad and seemed like he didn't want to be bothered. 2: They never showed after he said someone would be out the next day. I had to call to cancel after a couple days.
Description of Work: I called AARON'S TREE & LANDSCAPING SERVICE because I have a tree in my backyard that looks like it may be dying. I saw that they had very good rateings on Angies list so I thought it would be a company that would value the customer. I thought wrong. I was told that they would be out THE NEXT DAY to give me an estimate, which would cost $35.00 to come out and look at it. I was willing ot pay that for good service and because their rateings were so high. After a couple of days of not seeing or hearing from them I called and canceled. The response I got on the phone was "yea, you were on my list". I could tell by the tone in his voice and the way he talked that it didn't matter to him if he got my business at all. I was very polite on the phone and never got angry by the way. My first impression of them was not good at all. If there was a problem with coming out to look at my tree when they said they would, they should have called to let me know what was going on. I really didn't want them to even touch my tree after that. It always amazes me that there are so many companies out there that just don't care about the customer. The ones that do and appreciate your business are the ones that really shine and I try to get them more customers. I am so glad that there is an Angies list to warn others and vent frustrations about companies and people that act like they are doing you the favor.

Called for an estimate, Darrell was here within an hour and then they came back and did the work the same afternoon. I had 5 trees that needed trimming. One had branches on the roof. I also have shrubs that run along 2 sides of my house which needed pruning. My elderly next-door neighbor also had shrubs that needed trimming, so hers were done too with the same Angie's List discount. The price was about what I expected and seemed fair, although I did not get any other estimates. The crew did an excellent job, were pleasant and cleaned up very well.

We contacted Aaron's on May 3 to set up a time for an estimate. On May 5, an associate came out to our house and described how they would remove the yard waste and the stump in detail. We were pleased with the estimate and were very surprised when Aaron's said they could come out on the 7th. The crew arrived on the morning of the 7th, performed the work with minimal impact to our yard, and even finished ahead of schedule, so we paid slightly less than the estimated amount. Having these eyesores left by the previous homeowners removed so well and so quickly was worth every penny. I would not hesitate to contact Aaron's again for similar needs.

I called Aaron's after checking on firewood pricing. I mentioned Angies List was my source and asked for prices for firewood, split, hardwood, the length of pieces to make sure it would fit out fireplace insert and that the wood was seasoned at least a year; first for 1 full cord, then 2 cords and then a senior discount, all of which were obliged by the contact at Aaron's. They were very competitively priced for this season. Daryl scheduled the delivery, asked where we wanted it dumped. Brian delivered and dumped it right on time and exactly where we wanted it. We would use them again. [General firewood buying Tips: It is important to know what the current pricing is for firewood before buying and to determine the type-- hardwood is best..and that it is seasoned for a least a year. Make sure the charge includes delivery and dumping. Be specific where you want it dumped exactly too. Lastly, make sure the size/length will fit your fireplace or stove. Be prepared to spend some time stacking it yourself. Having a good wheelbarrow is a great help.]
Description of Work: Called for pricing and then purchased 2 full cords of split, seasoned, hardwood firewood to be delivered and dumped. Daryl said it would be 90% hardwood and the length would fit our fireplace insert. They delivered it the same day at the time they advised and the driver, Brian, carefully drove up the driveway and carefully dumped the wood as we requested. He was very professional. It was the best firewood buying experience we have had!

They were quick to provide us with an estimate. We were not home when they arrived, so they left a written estimate in the door. They did the job on two separate days. The tree in the back was completed first. The large tree out front was completed a few days later because they needed the heavy-duty equipment for that job. I was very pleased with their work. They did an excellent job trimming and cleaning the debris from the yard. The roof was also clear, but there were some twigs in the gutters. Their estimate for the large tree in the front yard was a little lower than another estimate I received. I was very pleased with that cost. However, I felt their estimate for the job in back was high. That job only took minutes to complete.
Description of Work: Trimmed dead branches, one of which was very large, from a front yard locust tree. Removed branches hanging over the house on the same tree. Removed branches hanging over a shed (and over a wire) in the back yard.

Weather threw us a curveball...who thinks it's going to snow in April? When the weather finally cooperated the crew showed up and trimmed five trees, took down the dead tree and cleaned up after themselves. My husband was at the residence and didn't realize the estimate was for six trees, but when he was made aware of the situation he called Aaron's and told them they missed pruning one tree and they came right back. Also, make sure it's noted on your estimate that a tree to be removed should also note how the stump is to be handled.
Description of Work: Pruned six trees; three huge Sycamores and three smaller Maples. Removed one dead tree entirely, grinding the stump.
