Description of Work: William Brison came out to do a basic well check on our furnace that their company installed in our home months back. He was very professional and took the time to go over everything about our furnace. I appreciate that he covered his shoes so he wouldn't track in dirt from outside. We have been very happy with Shankin and would highly recomend them to anyone looking for a new furnace, air conditioner or repairs.

+ -1 moreOur a/c stopped working on Sunday 6/10/2012 and on Monday 6/11/2012 I called Shanklin Heating and Air Conditioning about 8am to set up a service call. They had an opening later that day which worked perfectly for me. The technician who showed up was on time and went right to work. He knew just what he needed to do and when he found what the problem was, he let me know and got my permission to install a new motor he had on his truck. He had some trouble getting the old motor off and had to go back to the shop for another tool, but came back quickly and finished the job. He was polite and friendly and seem to do a good job. The a/c started pumping out cold air immediately with the new motor installation. He explained the invoice to me which seemed quite reasonable. This was really the second time we used Shanklin's services. The first time was in January 2012 when we called them to inspect the furnace for the winter months. That was our first time to use their services and we called them because we had a coupon. We were very impressed with that technician who seemed to do a very thorough inspection job and decided that we would use them again if the need arose. The office staff is polite and very helpful and took my phone calls without being put into voicemail or on hold. They will be on the top of our list for any furture furnace or a/c problems.
