We had a tech named JD. Very polite and respectful. As he was walking in the door he was putting socks over his work boots. He made sure to ask if you had any questions or concerns. When finished, explained everything that was done. Definitely would ask for again. This service was no cost because we bought a new furnace that comes with 10 year parts and labor warranty. the 1st year of check ups are free.

Great! I just can't say enough about the quality of service I have received from Shanklin. I have been working with them for 10 years now, and wouldn't think of calling anyone else.

My furnace had stopped working late in the evening on a Friday night. We contacted Shanklin. Within an hour, Shanklin Heating and A/C sent a repairman out to take a look. JD was very professional when he arrived. He discovered the igniter was bad. We have an older furnace and JD did not have the correct style on his truck. He did not give up and contacted his colleagues to see if anyone had the correct style. He did find one and left to go get. JD found that our furnace had some other issues, but did get us up and running the same night. JD went over the issues with my wife and myself. We decided to have a new furnace installed. Marcus and Ricky were the installers that was sent out to install the new furnace. We could not have asked for nicer installers. They were very courteous to our home. If they needed to get something out of there truck, they had covers that they would put over there shoes when they came back in. They placed wrap down on our carpet where they were walking. I am very pleased and would not hesitate to call again. I am sure that if we shopped around, we might have found a less expensive furnace installed, but the company and service is well worth any additional price.

George, the technician, was prompt, very courteous, and professional. He asked a few different times if I had any questions. He left a very good impression with me that reflects well on Shanklin.

Very well. It needed some fine tuning which was done and maintenance was performed. It's great piece of mind to know everything is working properly. I was also given some guidance on a feature I never knew how to test. Now I know!

George and Mike were very knowledgeable and professional. They actually saved me $ by being able to do the job cheaper but not risking the quality of the work. They had a difficult access to my attic but they were up to the challenge.

It went fine. They are very professional. They said my filter wasn’t too dirty and gave me the option of changing it or not. I thought that was nice because maybe I would have wanted to save money. Another reason to love them! They don’t try to sell you what you don’t need!

Great, checked for soot build up, furnace is burning 86% efficient, no oil smell. Technician Brison answered my questions. was courteous, and cleaned up before leaving. Will have Shanklin Heating and Air Conditioning back next year.

We are waiting until spring to have the work done because of other reasons at this time.

Will first replaced the capacitor (which he had in his truck), but found that he also needed to replace the fan motor which he did, driving to a parts store to buy it. My full cost was $400 including parts for a two-hour service call. Will was polite and businesslike and fully explained to me what needed to be done. I had confidence he would do a good job for me. When he left, the AC was running cool again.

The company website well pretty well put together and had plenty of information. As soon as I emailed them, using the contact form on their website, one of the owners was contacting me and setting up an appointment for a quote. He was polite, professional, and knowledgeable about any questions I had. He was not pushy, and allowed me the time to get other quotes. (all-in-all I had 5 quotes done) He was very helpful anytime I emailed him with questions. He scheduled a service date, and everybody was also prompt, polite, professional, and cleaned up after themselves. When the work was done, the owner scheduled a time to come back out and go over everything with me. He promptly took care of the couple minor questions I had. Shanklin H&C will now be my go-to for all of my future HVAC needs, and I will recommend them to anyone who asks.

Was on time, able to accommodate my schedule, knew what he was doing, went above and beyond in terms of making me aware of certain things that I could do to get the most efficient use. I also used them approapproximately 5 years ago for a small furnace repair.

I've never reviewed anything on Angie's, Google etc. but for this service I had to! Scott showed up on time. Was very polite and professional. He introduced himself and also gave me one of his business cards before entering my home. The service was about 45 minutes going back and forth between AC unit and furnace. I've used multiple Heating and Cooling companies to try and find one that provided good service and I've finally found one with Shanklin. When I initially scheduled my appointment, the owner, Derek, answered the phone and was exceptionally nice and informative. Just a very good experience all around which is very rare these days!! I plan to use Shanklin in the future for maintenance, repair or replacement if needed.

Scott, the technician, performed his usual efficient job, making sure the furnaces were ready for the winter. We have learned to depend on his experience and knowledge. In addition, he took time to help find us an electrician for another job.

We bought our house in May 2014 and needed a new central air system. The old central air unit was partially covered by the home warranty and Derek, the owner of Shanklin, came to our home and evaluated our C/A needs. He went above and beyond by working with the home warranty company to provide information on our existing central air system, which reduced our out-of-pocket costs. The installation was as expected; the team was very professional. The costs were exactly what we were quoted. The new system has worked very well, is much more energy efficient and we are very happy. Shanklin has always been very responsive, friendly, and professional. I would recommend them to anyone.

Prompt, friendly, professional. Did a great job in one day, Cleaned lines and replaced metalwork where needed. Needed rug to put beneath unit to keep it off the floor (two small scratches on floor) fairly minor and I didn't even call it to their attention.
