Showed up on time, and performed the big deal service quickly and professionally.

Overhead Door Co of Akron came out on time, there was not much interface, they did their job, we paid them, and they left. They did what they were supposed to do, it's still functioning after they serviced it, and we were happy with it. The price was fair.

Overhead garage came out and gave me an estimate to replace our broken spring/torque master shaft for our2-car garage door. I was happy with the estimate. The man who came out for the estimate told me he would have to order the part but could replace it in 3 days. He did just as he promised and I was happy with the quality and punctuality.

He did an excellent job. He was on time and finished quickly. He even replaced a broken hinge which was not [art of the deal. Freindly and cooperative.

I didn't want to spend a lot of money replacing the garage door opener, so the technician helped me get the door opened and showed me some tricks for keeping it working a while longer. I was very pleased that he didn't pressure me to do a full replacement now. When I'm ready to replace the opener I will definitely use this company to do it.

Mr. Hoffman came out to find out what I wanted. He was professional but pleasant to talk to. Once I decided to use his company I mailed a down payment and the door was ordered. He called when it came in and the next day it was installed. One man did all the work, taking down the old door and installing the new one. It took about 4 hours. The installer was friendly and explained what he would be doing. When the job was done I gave him a check for the remaining amount owed. This is an easy company to deal with. If I have any problems I know I can call them at any time and they will come as soon as possible.

Top panel of garage door at rental property buckled. I thought I would just replace it but found it would be just as cheap to replace entire door as you just can't go to Home Depot and buy a single panel. I called Overhead, hoping they had panels in stock. I met Mike at the house and showed him the problem. He did his thing while I pulled some weeds in the driveway cracks. I kept thinking to myself "another month another $300-$400 repair on a house I have to rent because I'm underwater on it and it can't be refinanced as it's considered income, even though the rent is less than the mortgage." Mike went to his truck and came out with a angled piece of steel. He said this was the problem and the door should have had this installed along the top edge of the door. It was in place in about twenty minutes. I was still thinking $250 or so. WRONG. $105.00. I was so happy I gave him ten bucks for lunch. The door works like new and I now have "garage door people".

It was a routine service where he replaced the pieces that were damaged and greased the riel to make it work smoothly. He discovered that there was a problem with the mechanism. I saw a plastic piece was broken, so I'm sure he was honest. He replaced it, gave me a good price and for the first time I see my garage door working without that horrible sound. Very pleased with expediency and knowledge. I'm not sure about the exact date or price.

They showed up on time. Had company truck and uniform. You could tell they knew what they were doing. Explained what they found and what was happening with the garage door. They fixed it without trying to up-sell or make the service more than it was. The door works as good as new. I would use them again. A very good experience at a great Angie's List deal price.

The project started on a disappointing note. I placed an order for two new garage doors and door openers, I was told the order would arrive in 2 to 3 weeks because they were a custom size and had to be ordered and they would call to schedule the installation once they arrive. After three and a half weeks I had to call Overhead, only to find out the doors arrived the week before and had been sitting in the office. I voiced my disapproval of the lack of communication to the sales person and felt that my concern was ignored which made me apprehensive of the actual installation. Fortunately, the installation was great. The crew was efficient and non-obtrusive and they also kept me update on their progress. Once the installation was completed another problem with the sales process was brought to light, which was a keyless entry pad was not included and I was never asked if I wanted a keyless pad. I called the sales person to ask and he just simply said that he didn't include it. I had to schedule another appointment to have the pad installed and have to pay for it separately it was a cumbersome and annoying. My take away is Overhead has a great product and a professional installation crew but you have to stay on top of their sales person and make sure you go over every aspect of what they are quoting. If you don't you will surely miss either a product or timeframe you would like to hit.

They did a good job. The spring for the door did break after they serviced it but they came out within 3 days and replaced that.

He did the job well and reprogrammed my keypad for the garage door opener.

They fixed my daughter's broken garage door. It is a detached garage with no exterior door, so the tech had to climb thru a small broken panel on the door to gain access. Had the door fixed quickly and at the price quoted. Was impressed with their timeliness and professionalism.

On the phone and in person, the company was professional and personable.

The repair person was punctual, professional, and friendly. In addition to tuning up the garage door, he determined that the garage door opener needs to be replaced; he wrote an estimate for the proposed work. (I have not had that work performed yet but I plan to in the future.)

Service was very good. He told me what I needed and suggested things I could do to make it better. He told me it was installed incorrectly in the first place so that I knew. He came out shortly after I called. He was quick and efficient.

He didn't wast a minute. He was here right on time and very fast and pleasant. It was a quick visit, which I appreciated. My garage door is quieter now.

The service technician was on site for less than one hour. He was very knowledgeable and answered several questions my wife asked him.
