Description of Work: We hired Overhead Door to perform a preventative maintenance on our garage doors. When we asked them to provide an estimate for a new lifter and combo [security] pad they agreed; however, after many attempts to contact them and two at-home visits, I could not get them to supply the estimate, nor respond to questions about the estimate.

Description of Work: New Rollers were installed on two overhead garage doors, chains were tightened, 9" bottom seal was replaced on left-hand door. I had requested both bottom seals be replaced, but worker claimed that the reason one wasn't closing tightly was that it had been installed upside down. He didn't think the other door had a problem. In fact, he wanted to just reverse the mis-placed seal so that it would fit better. I had to argue that it still wouldn't seal tightly enough (what was to become the bottom edge was peppered with holes from tacks from the original installated five years ago) to keep out water from a nearby downspout, and he eventually did what I requested. Both doors now work very quietly and promptly. I do not miss the noise and jerky lifting that was usual before this service.

Description of Work: I ordered the Daily deal which offered a garage door service and roller cleaning. They contacted me within 24 hours to make the appointment and the work was done within the week. The rollers now go smoothly and my garage door does not groan the way that it did. I was really impressed with the service and will be happy to use them in the future!

Description of Work: Called and asked about replacement garage door openers ... needed duplicates. Person was helpful and friendly over the phone. Went in and found another friendly and helpful person. Got the whole thing done within an hour. GREAT.
