wonderfully! They arrived promptly at the scheduled time, worked quickly, carefully and efficiently. They had a tight squeeze getting some larger items to the second floor of the home, but were careful with both the items and the walls. The guys were professional, courteous, and pleasant during the whole move. I have nothing but good things to say about their service.

I thought we were paying for professional movers and ended up with 2 young men with little to no experience. I called the company with my concerns and was told he would get right back to me. He didn't.

Words cannot describe how terribly this job was done. We chose Move It Now because of all the positive reviews from others here on Angie's List. I'm starting to wonder if this company paid people to write these reviews, because it was a very, very bad experience. The day started out with the two workers arriving in the Move It Now truck and hitting a post inside the storage unit facility. Everything went downhill from there. They hurriedly loaded up the truck, without much thought into strategically loading the items, and headed to our brand new home that we just got the keys for the day before. Once there, the nightmare really started. The workers broke two of our pieces of furniture (a bookcase and a TV stand) because they attempted to move these items into our home without the help of the other. The bookcase snapped in half as the one worker was carrying it on his back. His response was "That's what happens when you a bookcase from WalMart." They then proceeded to put several gashes, scuffs, scrapes and gouges into our brand new, freshly painted walls and door frames in nearly every room of our house. They even rammed our bedroom dresser so hard into our master bedroom door frame that it chipped a large chunk out of the wood casing. It got to the point that we instructed the workers to stop moving the items into our home and had them instead just unload the rest of the truck into our garage. They were both extremely rude and showed absolutely no care or respect for our property. Not once did either of them apologize for the damage they did to our furniture or our brand new home. The only somewhat positive thing I will say is that the manager and his handyman stopped over after the fact to assess the damage. They did apologize and did an okay job of fixing the damages throughout the house. However, we can still see all of the dings in the wood trim surrounding all our doors that were filled with wood filler and the spots in the walls that they had to mud and paint over. They also sent us a check in the mail (two months after the job) for our two broken pieces of furniture. The amount was enough to buy one piece of furniture back. We were told that since the furniture they broke was used, they wouldn't pay us an amount that would allow us to get new furniture in its place. I would highly recommend to shop elsewhere for your next move.

The crew we had that day was absolutely the best and most professional we have ever had for a moving service, and would definitely use them again. We would like to thank TM, RS and MB for the great job they did with so much running around, and doing so on a very hot and muggy morning. We are certainly very pleased that everything went so smoothly, and would recommend this company for any moving service, large or small.

Very Smoothly! Skylur and Coy were an excellent team. Quick and organized! Didn't scratch any walls, which was very impressive in my winding stairway to my upper level ranch! They covered key wall corners, took doors off hinges when necessary to remove large furniture and reattached them quickly. They wasted no time at all. They even came in under the estimate. I used the 4 hrs for $311 via Angie's List and was informed that each additional hour would cost $95. I was quoted at roughly 6-7 hrs. The job only took 4 hrs for the guys (and they don't charge for their lunch break) so my entire move only cost $406! I am very satisfied!

Two man team goes by the hour. It went well. They were on time, pleasant, easy to work with, and took good care of possessions. They moved everything efficiently within a couple of hours. Would use them again.

They were polite and respectful of me and my furniture when loading the truck. The price was great. However after the truck left my home I am not sure what happened over the three days of traveling that left some of my furniture broken and or damaged. I didn't think I needed to get extra insurance being they where such a reparable company. And Keith assured me that my furniture was in good hands. The truck was not packed the same when it left as it did when it arrived. When the truck left Ohio it was secured and things where packed as they should. When the truck arrived and they opened the door some of my stuff was not secured and was thrown about the truck. I am not sure if they had to switch trucks and that was why it was not packed as it was when it left or did they rummage through my stuff??? I guess I will never know. They did compensate me for the damage however some of the things are not repairable or replaceable.

Fantastic. First, the office was flexible and rescheduled our move twice when we had complications with our sale and purchase. They gave us the lowest estimate of several movers that we contacted and the final bill was UNDER the estimate. The movers themselves were just great. The crew of five arrived full of energy on time and just flew through the house. The worked at a fast pace and kept it up all day. They were also friendly and cheerful. They all seemed to work together so well. A great team! It was a stressful day for us, but they made it so much easier and more pleasant. When we were at the new house, they conscientiously put everything where it was labeled. When items weren't labeled, they always asked where to put them. They cheerfully complied when we changed our minds about where to put them--even when it meant taking heavy items upstairs. They were very careful with our furniture, and with the newly-painted walls. It was a grueling long day, but when they were done, they asked if there was anything else we wanted--any items to be moved around, etc. I have already recommended them to friends who are moving soon. Move It Now was wonderful!

We preferred to move the smaller items ourselves and let them do the heavy lifting. They were able to do it all, but adjusted the quote to meet our needs. They came on time and ready to work. They provided all the materials and no one was ever standing around or wasting time. The guys were all extremely polite and professional. The part that impressed me the most was that there was a small dent left in our wall (because we have a huge heavy bed) and they fixed it that day. No excuses were made. I have had some very bad experiences with other movers in the past damaging our furniture and denying it.

Steve and his crew from AKron Move it NOW showed up right on time at 9:00AM. They got to work right away and didn't stop until the truck was loaded. They drove directly to the new house (actually beating us there because we stopped for Wendys:)) and started unloading. They all had great attitudes and would strongly recommend them. They actually came in half an hour under the Quote !

I highly recommend Move It Now! This was the best moving experience that I ever had. I bought the $311 Angie's List deal for 2 men and a truck for 4 hours. I spoke with Ken to schedule the move. He squeezed my move in with short notice. He estimated it would take about 6 hours from the description that I gave over the phone. He quoted $95 per hour for anything over the 4 hours. On moving day, they called when they were on their way. They showed up on time and hit the ground running. And they kept running, for the entire move. Dewayne and Coy were the movers. They were professional, friendly and FAST. They were very careful not to damage anything. The move took almost exactly 6 hours. I was very impressed. If you ever need to move, you should request Dewayne and Coy.

Movers were reserved from 1 to 3 pm and did not show up until 4:30 pm. When I called the company at 3:15 pm to inquire about where the movers were, I did not get an answer until after several calls. Once I finally reached the Operations Manager, he was unable to tell me when the movers would show up and indicated that he couldn't do anything for me - we would just have to wait. I requested to speak to the owner and he said the owner was not available. Eventually, the Operations Manager let me know that a crew was being made available and he offered a small discount to the hourly rate that we don't think was acceptable given the extreme tardiness of the movers. However, at that point in the day we did not have any other choice in order to complete the move that needed to happen. When the movers did finally show up, it was a crew that had been re-tasked to our move and they were professional but extremely tired and slow. A move of a small quantity of furniture with less than 5 miles of distance between sites, should not have taken 4 hours to complete. It was a completely unsatisfactory experience with the company and we will not utilize the company again. In fact, we are schedule to move into our new home in September with a competitor.

Prior to buying the service offered with the discount from Angie's list I contacted the office whom explained to me that I would receive 4 hours, 2 hrs of labor and a truck for the move at $311 and anything over was 95 per hour. I then asked if a specific date was open and he states yes and once I bought the deal offer they would be notified. So...I bought the offer at $311 received an email with a different date and a quote for 7-9 hours at a rate of $145 per hour, I responded back by email and declined the quote and clearly stated I only wanted the offer I bought. So I then called to schedule the correct date and hours and was told they don't provide any service on the day I requested. After going back and forth with the person, he said he would ask his boss and call me back. Later I got a call saying that they are providing service that day, so I scheduled with them since I already paid for the service. As the time got closer, I called to confirm I was scheduled and they had my offer on file for only the 4hrs, which they said they did. When the day came Three men showed up instead of Two. When I asked about the difference he said the third guy was sent and did not cost me anything during the 4hrs but after the 4 it would be 145 per hour, not 95 per hour. I was very confused. The work took 5.5 hrs and they charged me an additional $381 (for going over 1.5hrs) on top of my already payment of $311. They stated it was $145 per hour and they just deduct the offer I paid for. So there actually was no deal at all! Really....this was a bait and switch. I contacted the office and did not say who I was and asked if I bought the offer what charges were and how it worked, again I was told would receive 4 hours, 2 hrs of labor and a truck for the move at $311 and anything over was 95 per hour. That's when I stated well then, we have a problem and explained what took place. He stated that is sounded like I was over charged. He did go on to say since it was three guys it would be an additional 30 per hour on top of my offer. I stated to him I did not request the third person. The person then said he would having the billing person contact me. When she called me she basically gave me the run around stating that I actually saved money because without the third person it would of took 7 hours. by my account if I did only have the two people and if they actually took 7 hours I would of still paid less by at least. $80-100 dollars. I expressed my concern and was told she would look into and call me back.....which of course has not happened and it is now 4 days later. What is sad is the movers were great, they were polite and on time and worked very hard. It is a shame the owners and management were not the same. Please note my rating is strictly on the company, and management not the movers. Do not buy an offer !

We've moved our household a number of times. This was the shortest relocation and by far, the worst. They completely low-balled the estimate despite a 2 hour on-site walk-through. When only 3 men arrived to start the packing, I immediately questioned the wisdom of that due to the size our household and was told they had it all under control. Fast forward to 48 hours later and we're unpacking the van at the new house until well after dark. They did bring more men at the 11th hour but all that really did was allow them to completely overwhelm us on the receiving end. In their rush to leave, we missed much of the furniture damage. Additionally the price was double ... what's the point of an estimate if you are off by 200%. To add insult to injury, the very next day, my cleaning crew at the old house discovered over 16 areas where they hadn't packed everything. I had to miss another day of work and pack up over 8 additional large boxes and get them moved to the new house. My daughter's wallet is missing and no one will return our calls.

Couldn't be better. They were on time, efficient, and truly good guys. Kudos to Jim, Tyler and Spencer!!

We were very pleased with our experience with Move It Now and our movers, Chris and Richard. We were told that our movers would arrive between 12 and 3. They arrived right at 12. Chris and Richard were very professional and easy to work with. They hustled and we appreciated that since we were paying by the hour.

VERY WELL. The 3 young men were very professional and paid attention to not damage any of the furniture. Did the move in a very timely manner. Will use them again once our new home is done to move from the apartment .
