Description of Work: They pruned and trimmed bushes and trees in our front and back yards. They cleaned up all trimmings and were very thorough. They completed the job in a timely fashion and were most polite and concerned they had met our needs.

Description of Work: We had several trees trimmed. They did a great job and even came out again when I called and said I thought they should cut one of the trees back further. The only reason they got a B is because they showed up 40 minutes early for our appointment and I wasn't ready for them. I would use them again.

Description of Work: I would have to think about wether I would use this company again. The work they preformed was as asked, however it took many calls for me to reach them to schedule the appointment to get the job done. I left many messages and still had to call before I reached them. The were supposed to show up to do the work, yet once the gentleman came he just came to estimate the cost. They were suppose to show up the following day however did not do so, the gentleman thought we needed to be home. Once they came however the work was done as asked and as they did not show up at original date while my husband was here it was unclear as to what all he wanted done so they had to come back and trim another branch off the tree and that was done the next day. I do feel they new what they were doing and will consider using them if they were to be more responsive and punctual.

Description of Work: I bought the BIG DEAL and I never got a response to my phone calss so I requested a refund from Angies List. Then he called and made an appointment to come out and he didn't come. I got my refund...thank you.

Description of Work: My overall result was good. We had a little scheduling issue but once that was resolved everything was handled professionally and a nice job was done. I had a tree and stump removed and others trimmed. I was not home when the service was done but came home to a neat yard and a stack of wood as I had requested. I would recommend the tree service and will use them again.

Description of Work: We needed to have our 60-70 year old Oak tree trimmed along with a Bradford pear in our front yard and some other trimming of a couple trees growing through our back deck. They did an excellent job. We got an estimate on Tuesday and my wife was impressed with Mike's professionalism and knowledge. We requested to have them do the work and they were able to make it out today (Thursday).

Description of Work: A small (10ft) flowering plum tree had been decimated by insects. They cut it down and removed the stump in one visit.

Description of Work: Cut back limbs on neighbors property which were overhanging my trees and obstructing their light and health. They did such a good job that two other neighbors hired them to do the same for their property when they finished our property.

Description of Work: These guys are top notch! They cut our dying ash tree with amazing skill! They cut the tree down split the wood (so we could keep it) stacked it on the side of our house and then ground out the stump and removed all the debris. They were quick, efficient, prompt and courteous. Definitely recommend these guys to anyone! Jackie Shultz recommend these guys!

Description of Work: They cut down a HUGE maple tree along a fence and over our pool .i was impressed with there work ethic and professionalism. once they started the whole crew kept working except for water breaks ,and there clean up was very good.They also neatly stacked all the wood .Must say was quite amazing to watch.

Description of Work: I chose this company because they were on Angie's List. I also purchased a "Big Deal" coupon which they were aware of. I had three appointments set-up with them to cut down an ash tree. Just prior to all three appointments they called to reschedule. Frustrating when you've made changes in your schedule to coordinate with theirs. They were a NO SHOW for their final appointment. Never called to offer any explanation or solutions!

Description of Work: They did a GREAT job for me in removing some tree limbs and a dead Arborvitae in my garden. They even came back and cut another limb that was interfering with my electrical lines at no extra charge. Very polite and punctual. Highly recommend them to anyone needing this sort of service.

Description of Work: Woodruff Tree Service is more than a "CUT ABOVE" the other tree services that we have experienced in our 35 years of marriage and 5 different homes. Our daughter recommended them to us based on her personal positive experience with them last year. We checked them out on Angie's List as well as the BBB, and liked what we reviewed. Then we asked Steve for an estimate as well as proof of insurance for both their workers as well as our property. He provided me with both documents including a $1 million property liability if our home was ever damaged by falling trees. The reason I decided to provide a review is because of their professionalism and service. Last year they did a great job of removing 8 stumps in our back year, and yesterday they removed two 3 story trees from our backyard. Before we went to dinner, our entire backyard was filled with tree branches, tree trunks & leaves while the Woodruff continued to safely complete the job. When we returned from dinner, we thought that the Woodruff guys must have vacuumed the entire backyard as it was in pristene condition.
