Description of Work: I called to ask for someone to come out to my house to figure out what's wrong with our fireplaces (the smoke smell the next day, after the fire is out, is really strong). The very knowledgeable man on the phone talked to me for 20 minutes about all the possible soulutions, gave me free advice to solve the problem, and never tried to sell me anything. He was very nice and very helpful, and he could have taken me for a long ride because I am desperate to fix this problem. Other companies have tried year after year and sold me services and treatments and never fixed the problem. Whempy's is our new fireplace/chimney sweep company!

VERY PROFESSIONAL. GREAT SERVICE.
Description of Work: THE DAMPER ON OUR FIREPLACE WAS BROKEN, WE CALLED AND RECEIVED A $400 ESTIMATE + $300 FOR SEALING AND CLEANING CHIMNEY FROM ANOTHER COMPANY. THE OTHER COMPANY SAID THE DAMPER COULD NOT BE REPAIRED, AND EVEN REMOVED IT. WHEMPY'S ANSWERED A BUNCH OF QUESTIONS OVER THE PHONE, AND THEY CAME OUT AND PROMPTLY REPAIRED THE DAMPER. THEY SAID IT JUST CAME OUT OF THE CHANNEL. JAMES WAS GREAT AND GAVE ME OTHER ADVICE ON HOW TO CARE FOR THE FIREPLACE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. THEY SAVED ME $700.
