The gentlemen who came out was very nice. They knew what they were doing. They worked very quickly; yet only vacuumed grills and not all registers. The price was reasonable, you get what you pay for. They did not get all registers clean, some still have dust in them. They were very polite and nice guys. I would hire to clean chimney, but not air ducts.

They were excellent. they were on time and pleasant.

They were professional, punctual and responsive. I would use them again.

They came and told me I only needed a $65 fix for my chimney to be usable after I received a $1500 proposal from another company.

Scheduled for the morning after I called. He was on time, pleasant and polite, and whole process was very quick and professional, and didn't do un-needed work. Prices were very good. Very happy with the experience.

They said only one chimney needed to be cleaned which is what I suspected.

Went well. Showed up during the time frame given to me, was neat, and clean. Did not mess up the house.

They answered all my questions over the phone and were very informative. They were on time and came right out the day after I called. They left me an estimate right after that, and let me know they would have to order some parts. They sent me the estimate and requested my signature before work was to start. I called them and approved the estimate and they were able to do the work and then send me a bill.

The worker arrived early and called before as requested. He did a good job with the cleaning; though I had to specifically ask him if the minor cracks he found at the bottom of the fireplace were something to be immediately concerned with or only something that needed watched. He left the work area very clean and tidy.

They came when they said that they would.

This was a very positive experience. The technician was friendly and helpful. He arrived on time and walked us through everything that he did. He was respectful of our home and children. After first cleaning the furnace and air ducts, he inspected our chimney and actually told us that we didn't need to have the fireplace and chimney cleaned and did not charge us for that part of the work. Instead, he gave us ways to keep the chimney/fireplace dry and clean on our own. It was very refreshing to find someone so helpful. He could have easily just done the work and charged us for that part of the job. How many companies do that? It was a great experience, we were very pleased with this company and their honesty and professionalism. I highly recommend this company for the duct cleaning and any chimney/fireplace cleaning. Excellent!

It was not an emergency job. They arrived the same day. They came at the time they said they would be there and took care of the problem promptly. They knew what they were doing. The fireplace has worked fine since. It was a very satisfactory encounter.

After repeated calls, several weeks, and several broken promises, no one ever came out to do the work.

It was fast and easy, from a phone for an estimate, to the installation, to receiving the estimate and explanation for repairs, all within days of the first phone call, with no follow up calls needed.

We called on a Friday. They were able to tell us the price over the phone and even how many flues were on that chimney (using info from the web). The work was completed by Monday morning at 11 am. Very fast service and they look good. They even gave a discount on the second one (of $10), even though they had not mentioned that when we called.

I called this company and described the work I needed to have done, giving them all the contact information. They said they would be out that day or the next. Four days went by with no visit and no return call. I called again, they said okay, they'd be out. I waited another three days -- nothing. I called a third time and the person answering the phone said he'd have his boss call me back. Three days later -- nothing. I have no idea how these people won a service award. I would never recommend them to anyone.

The price was competitive. It was fine. The chimney is clean, no mess in the house.

Excellent! I telephoned Whempy's on Thursday; they came to my house on Friday to give me a diagnosis and estimate. They returned on Monday to replace my chimney crown which had rusted through after 20 years and was leaking. At all times, they were courteous and informative. They listed what could be wrong, inspected the chimney, and then told me what actually was wrong. After the work was completed, they described what they did. They were punctual and efficient. They cleaned up after themselves and took the old chimney crown with them.

Well, I originally scheduled a cleaning on one date, and they didn't show so I called them. There was some mix up on their end and I had to postpone the cleaning. For my inconvenience, they knocked off $20.00 off the price. This impressed me. They came on the rescheduled date, were extremely professional, and honored my price reduction. This is a Class A Company, I would highly recommend them!

They were good at what they did. They didn't make a mess in the house and that is very important.

I was able to schedule an appointment very easily and quickly. The gent showed up on time and did the work carefully and left the hearth area clean. He was also able to help us understand other problems we were having with the damper so we scheduled and completed that repair with him also. It was wonderful to be able to have the chimney all clean again. It took under an hour for the cleaning job to be completed, and the damper repair was completed within the same week. I appreciated the responsiveness to our problem, because the misaligned damper caused a drought in the house. So getting the repair done quickly helped us save on home heating bills too!

We had them out for an estimate. We are having the house painted in the spring and need chimneys to be tuckpointed and ready for paint. He also knew we do not use our fireplaces they were not lined properly and were just decorative. He showed up on time and was very nice. He looked at the project and said all 3 of our chimneys needed rebuilt. He said they would get back with us with an estimate. I also asked about their duct cleaning service they provided. He did not know much about that and said they would let us know about that price also. He charged us their $65 fee, we paid and waited. That was on Jan. 6TH 2007. No one ever got back to us. I emailed them and still no reply. I looked at the paper he gave us and there was a $6500.00 price under the visual check box but no explanation. We had two other companies out and there prices were $1600.00 and the other was $2400.00. Those prices also included tuckpointing all the brick on the whole house, not just chimneys.

Whempy's did a great job and provided excellent education to help us prevent a chimney fire. Our chimney was long overdue for cleaning yet they were able to clean it in timely and effective fashion.

Well, it went fine once they got it on the schedule. But it took 3 calls before that happened. They did not invoice me for the visit.......I called about that, but to date, no reply.
