Watershed Organic Landscape and Lawn Care

They do weekly maintenance but if it doesn't need done they won't do it.

He agreed to come out and told me his labor rate, which was comparable to one of his competitors which I use often. He tends to say he will show up at a certain time, and he tends to be late (30 minutes or so). I've had a couple times I've dealt with him. He's a really nice guy and he does good work. I think he works a little bit slower than the other company I use. He works at a different pace, but he works very hard. The neat thing about this guy is that he knows a lot of nifty things about plants. There were some miscommunication issues about what was to be done. I would like to use him again to put a pre-emergent down. He does take a little extra time to get work done. He's worth hiring. He's not being lazy, he just works at a different pace. He's an honest guy and a hard-worker and he knows a lot of stuff.

Watershed mows my yard approximately 4-5 times a month for $25 each visit. They are fast and do excellent, quality work. The mowers are considerate, and really handle well the details of just making the yard look good.

I contacted Jim at Watershed to set up lawn fertilization treatments. He came out within a few days to give an estimate. After that, though, he never followed through and performed any work. He came out once and didn't do anything because we were having some roof work completed. He called and said he'd be out the following week. That was a month ago. We've since started fertilized our own yard, and will have to continue doing the work ourselves.

I left a message on May 22 to get an estimate on basic lawn treatments. I received a call back the following morning and was told that someone would be out either that day or the following week. I never heard from them again.

We have them do fertilization, weed killer, and mow the lawns. They do a great job, at reasonable rates. They are very responsive when I call them. We have used Watershed for several years and will continue to do so.

Excellent service. They come every week and check if the lawn needs mowing or not. They send the bill at the end of the month. Very reliable.

I want to support organic lawn care and would use Watershed IF I had basically a good lawn to begin with. But the violets, creeping Charlie, and other weeds have just taken over, leaving very little grass. I wish they'd have let me know early on that their product couldn't compete with all my weeds.

Made numerous telephone calls to Watershed, and most were not returned. I was never able to set up an appointment, although the person I spoke with on one occasion stated they were interested in performing the work.

Jim is great. He is very responsive, and did a nice job on our yard.

My yard gets mowed and looks fine, that's what I was looking for.

This was a very good experience. The owner and a helper worked very hard all day and did an outstanding job. He was upfront about the schedule being weather dependent. It is a good idea to call him before the job to check in on the schedule. He will return your call if you get his voice mail.

Called for estimate but never received callback.

Watershed said they could get our lawn 90% weed-free in 3 years without using chemicals. If this turns out to be true, we will be very satisfied. Right now, it is too early to tell. We appreciated the 10% discount they give to Angie's list members.

Excellent. Helped identify the kind that I needed. Gave directions on application, and offered to deliver it to my house.

HE IS VERY NICE AND IS AN HONEST GUY. I REALLY LIKE THAT HE USES ALL ORGANIC PRODUCTS.

They were very accommodating. Their rates were reasonable, and they came out when I needed them to.

They show up on time whether you are here or not here. They do a fine job.

Very helpful, excellent follow through, offers the products I am interested in.

THEY ARE QUITE GOOD. THEY ARE NOT AUTOMATIC EVERY WEEK. IF IT DOESN'T RAIN AND THE GRASS ISN'T GROWING, THEY DON'T MOW AND DON'T CHARGE FOR MOWING. THEY ARE SURE TO LET US KNOW WHEN THIS HAPPENS AND MAKE SURE YOU ARE OKAY WITH THEM SKIPPING A MOW. THEY MULCH-MOW AND EVERYTHING THEY USE IS ORGANIC. APPROXIMATE COST IS PER WEEK. I'VE HAD OTHERS CHARGE A LOT MORE FOR MY LOT (WHICH ISN'T THAT BIG). QUITE REASONABLE. THEY DO A GREAT JOB WITH THE MOWING AND CLEAN UP AFTER THEMSELVES.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. I FELT THEY WERE VERY FAIR WITH THEIR QUOTE, AND TRUSTED THEIR ADVICE ON HOW TO HANDLE THE JOB. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY. WE WOULD HIRE AGAIN.

EXCELLENT SERVICE AND RESULTS. I THOUGHT IT WOULD TAKE 3 YEARS TO GET THE SAME TYPE OF RESULTS ONE WOULD RECEIVE FROM A CHEMICAL APPLICATION, BUT WE HAD NEARLY IDENTICAL RESULTS IN THIS FIRST YEAR!

FOUND JIM ROBERTS AND HIS CREW VERY PLEASANT TO WORK WITH. HIS WAS NOT THE LOWEST ESTIMATE WE GOT, BUT WE LIKED HIS FOCUS ON ORGANIC METHODS AND PLAN TO USE HIS COMPANY FOR FUTURE TREATMENTS, SO WE DECIDED TO HAVE HIM INSTALL THE LAWN, TOO. HE WAS THOUGHTFUL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. ALL THE WORK WAS COMPLETED AS PROMISED IN ONE DAY, AND THE LAWN LOOKS GREAT.

FANTASTIC PEOPLE DOING GREAT WORK. GOOD ATTENTION TO DETAIL. RESPONSIVE TO SPECIAL REQUESTS. I WOULDN'T THINK OF TURNING TO ANYONE ELSE FOR OUR YARD WORK.
