The installer arrived on time with all of the parts needed. I had the vehicles out of the garage so work could be done. The installer went right to work removing the old rollers and installing the new quiet rollers on my double wide door.. He adjusted all of the door parameters and lubricated the mechanism, tested the door and cleaned up. Start to finish was about an hour.

I called them right away. They said that they would send out a worker. He came out about an hour later, came right in and quickly identified the problem. He quickly fixed the problem within an hour and even gave us a $10 Angie’s List discount. He was very prompt and his price was very competitive. He was also very friendly and nice.

From beginning to end they were super to deal with. Always on time, great communications and the best price. Installers were done in 2 hours and garage is cleaner than when they arrived. I don't know what else you could expect from a company. If you need a garage door these are the folks to deal with.

We were increasingly having difficulties getting our garage door to open and close. We fixed a problem ourselves, but then had issues again about a month later. After researching companies on Angie's List, we decided to go with United Garage Door. I emailed the company and they called me back promptly. They were able to schedule a service call quickly, called to confirm the appointment, and my serviceman came promptly at the time specified. He did the repairs he could quickly and there were no additional costs above the service call. He informed me that because of the age of my opener, I would probably have issues with it again soon.(My opener has a 5-7 year life and it going on its 12th year!) He was able to give me estimates on a new opener and spring as well. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. He did not try to sell me an opener...he just wanted to give me good information so that when the time came I knew what to expect. I had a great experience with this company and I will be contacting them again when my open finally does go out for good.

It was a very good experience. They answered my phone calls quickly. They did a good job. There were a couple of things that we did not understand so they came back out and explained everything to us the next day, which was really appreciated.

I appreciate the time that Mark & Kaye Miller spent educating us on garage doors. We are extremely happy with our new garage door. It looks a million dollars. They warned us about putting in windows in our garage door due to the shape and size of the opening. Thanks for the heads up, as we would never have been happy with the windows. The windows would have exaggerated the fact that the header above the door was not square. In addition, the installers added an additional brace to the garage door opener even though they did not install the garage door opener. We appricate the attention to detail. I feel like we got a really good price on the door and would definitely use United Garage Door again.

I contacted three companies with excellent ratings on Angie's List for quotes on the installation of a new garage door and opener for my single-car (attached) garage. I had been researching companies off and on for a few months due to the age of my existing garage door (installed in 1957), and when the door pulled the bracket mounts out of the wall it was time to act. Of the three reputable companies that I contacted, United Garage Door Company distinguished itself as the most responsive, professional, and reasonably-priced of the three. I contacted United Garage Door on a Saturday. The following Monday morning they called me back and made an appointment that very day to come by and provide an estimate. Their representative, Taylor, was not just a salesman, he was one of the men who- eventually- installed my garage door. With over 20 years of experience in the business he quickly sized up what I needed and explained to me the products that I had to choose from. Of the three representatives that came to provide me quotes that day, he was the only one to bring a garage door panel sample, which I appreciated. He also took the time to describe to me what he would do as part of the installation. (Because the old door had ripped out of the wall, it took a little extra effort to install the new door appropriately.) He then went out to his truck and provided me a detailed written estimate on the spot. (Not all of the companies I contacted did that.) The quote I received was the lowest of the three and seemed to provide the most appropriate products. I was not looking to put in the highest-end garage door opener, but I did want good quality and an insulated garage door. What I got was a quote for a LiftMaster 1/2 HP belt-driven opener (others quoted me chain-driven at a similar price) and a 2" C.H.I. raised panel, insulated garage door without any windows. I was interested in getting long panels for my garage, in order to keep with the character of the house. All three of the firms said that they had the short panels in stock, but that they would need to order the long panels and it would take 2-3 weeks. The day after providing me the quote I received a phone call from United Garage Door informing me that they just got a long panel in stock. At the time I was still waiting on one more quote to come in, but I remember thinking to myself that it would have to be a pretty penny less to convince me to go with anyone but United. That kind of responsiveness, especially here in the dead of Winter, earned my business. As it turned out, United Garage Door's quote was the lowest, provided the right quality of (American-made!) products, and was backed by the reputation of some amazing professionals. Better still, when I called to set the appointment to have my garage door installed, they were able to do it first thing Monday morning. They said it would take two hours to install- which was a bonus because it meant that I did not have to take a day off from work. They delivered on that promise. I have now had my new garage door and opener for a week and I am still extremely pleased with the quality of the product and the level of service provided by United Garage Door.

THis is the second job they did for us. Again - they were punctual and professional. The end result was an excellent new door which works flawlessly

He came out and checked out the garage door and determined that the springs only needed to be oil. I did appreciate that he came out the same day, which was nice. However, the price was a bit more than I thought it would be.

They called and came when they said they would. They even called when they were on their way. They were there and finished in less than an hour and they clean up well after themselves. It looks great.

We had an 18 year old wooden garage door that had reached the ugly stage. It had been stained over and over again and the last few years we had resorted to painting it. Now the paint was peeling and the wood seemed too weak to last much longer...not to mention how bad it made the entire house look from the street. We needed a new door. They went out of their way to answer my many questions and to make sure things were exactly as we wanted them. Their attitude of customer focused service extended also to their follow up phone call a few days after the work was completed. Plus, our new garage door looks fabulous! I am thrilled with our new door! Our house once again has "Curb Appeal"!

I was very please with my experience. I called them at 8:00 a.m. to say my garage door was broke and my car was stuck in the garage. They were here within 2 hours. The technician was professional, personable, and knew what he was doing. He also answered many questions I had about the general maintenance of my garage door. The person I spoke to on the phone was friendly and followed-through with the time frame they promised me.

I called on Saturday inquiring about garage door openers and prices. It was installed on Monday afternoon. No fuss, fast and easy for a good price. Good customer service. No complaints whatsoever!

This is the best company I have ever worked with. I called them originally In January 2011, regarding a problem with my Mom's garage door. What outstanding service she received, I was overwhelmed with their kindness towards my Mom. The gentleman could have told my Mom she had to buy a new garage door opener because hers is quite old, but instead he worked at adjusting some things and felt that was all that was needed at this time. When my garage door recently broke, there was not a doubt who I would call. In this world when customer service is not always important any longer, this company far exceeds any customer service I have ever received. What wonderful people!!!! You could never go wrong using them. They are the best!

Very well-estimate appt. was timely, gave me goodinfo to make a decision, completed service within 10 days. Good company to work with.

Despite a snowy day, they did the work on schedule, came when they said, cleaned up most of their mess

I called for service since my garage door spring broke and they were unable to send someone out that day, however they reccomended two other companies to call that may be able to send someone out. I felt this was going above and beyond the call of duty. The one company we called came out that day and fixed the problem. I appreciated thier proffessionalism and help.

The springs were replaced in a very timely manner.

Both our cars were trapped in our garage as we were unable to open it because of a broken spring. I called United close to 10 AM. They called back llater to say they were on the way, arrived promptly and replaced the spring (as well as doing some tightening & oiling of parts). Before 1:00 PM, our garage door was working. We were advised that our garage door opener was on its last legs, too, and we will be calling United to replace it.

Brian from United Garage Door did a very professional job in replacing them - and the company was very helpful in every phase of the process. Brian provided us with the Certification statement that we can use for our tax rebate (energy saving). In sum - this company and its representatives were A+ professionals who give the type of service that is a pleasure to experience

They came out and did the repair the same day we called, and it was a cold Saturday morning! Repair only took about 45 minutes.

Existing garage door was dented and no longer functioned. I talked to the owner, very nice, and he came out to give an estimate and show us sample colors for the new door. He didn't try to sell us more than we needed. The existing track and opener were in good shape, so only the door needed replaced. New door was in a couple of days later and the person doing the install was nice and knowledgeable. Plus he didn't mind my 3 year old watching (and his questions). Very pleased with the service and the door.

They came out to the house at a time we were there. recommanded replacing the opener, add a bar to support the door better. He was professional, early for the install and able to come bring a few days later to make adjustments.

We contacted the company on Thursday and received an estimate the same day. Mark Miller, VP and General Manager, came to the house Saturday with a sample door panel and answered our questions. The installer, Brian, came Monday and completed the job within 5 hours. He took time to explain operating instructions and safety measures. He also hauled away all old doors, tracks, molding and cleaned up. Our old garage doors were 38 years old and we are very pleased with our new ones! We qualified for the energy tax credit since we purchased insulated garage doors.

Mr. Miller provided the estimate and gave us many options and prioce levels to choose from. I was going to pay for a more expensive model which Mark explained was really not necessary. Very professional, cost effective. Could not be more happy with this experience!
