We are very happy with our new door, opener, and the professional service from United Garage Door. The carriage style door improves the look of our home, and the belt driven opener is much quieter than our old chain driven opener. United Garage Door was easy to work with. It took a couple weeks for the door to arrive after we placed our order. On the day the door was delivered, they completed the full replacement of the door, opener, and tracks in a couple of hours.

Brian was very insightful and helpful with talking through my garage door issue on my first call. He wanted to help, but admitted to being over 2 weeks out for scheduling and provided me with name/number of technician that could help immediately.

The owner and employees were very nice. I was able to find the garage door I wanted. It took about 10 days to order. Installation went well. The owner came out 2 weeks later to make some adjustments and even caulked around the trim.

It took 3 times for United Garage Doors to fix my garage door opener. Same issue 2 times (within 1 months time). The second time they came out - the very young man was unable to fix it with out another person to help. When I called the second time for the repair the man said I would not be charged due to such a quick turn around with the same issue. But, when the same very young repair man came out he insisted that I pay him another $89.00. So, I paid him with a check then called the company. Brian stated that my check would be returned to me by the next week. UGD cashed my check. I had to call them once again to get my money. The lady was very nice and returned my money within days. The young repair man also tried to tell me that the first time he came out it was not my belt. I pulled out my repair slip. Nothing like arguing with he customer.

Called in the morning after learned garage door spring broke. Door would not go up. Scheduled work for late afternoon. Work was completed on time and as expected. The provider was very professional and prompt.

Our ancient wooden garage door finally failed - came off the track during torrential rains in June --not a pretty day! United Door came within a day of arrangement and determined that it could not be repaired (wood had split at the top, wood rot on bottom where cables attached). A new steel door was ordered and installed two weeks later - we had an issue with opening the door after installation and Brian came promptly the next day to make adjustments to get us to fine working order. Communications with the company were superb and responsive - thanks United Garage Door and particular thanks to Brian. Really good company.

United is absolutely the best to work with. We are a pretty active household and we are always doing projects. We DIY almost 90% of our projects but some things you just want to leave to the pros. I am very picky and and have seen my fair share of contractors that shouldnt even offer a service. These guys however break the mold with professionalism and courtesy. Our door spring cables broke on Thursday. I called United being they are local and I like to deal with local businesses. They helped me go through my options over the phone, honored the previous quote they gave us last year, and said given we were sort of stuck from using our garage he had a door in stock in the color and insulation we wanted and could be there monday morning. They called to tell me they were loading up at 7:50a n monday and called to tell me they were on their way at 8:15. They showed upp promptly, walked me through everything, and were in, out cleaned up by 10:30a. Awesome experience, awesome guys. Thanks united!

I think I love the count down timers for auto closing our doors in case we forget to shut them...that's the most useful feature of many. It's so quiet, so well made too!

It went fantastic! The United Garage Door installer was a little late in arriving due to an overload of calls about garage door openers not working because of the previous night's storm. They were very accommodating and apologetic. Since their regular installer was tied up on other calls, arrangements for another employee to install the opener. The young man that came out had never installed an opener on his own before but had assisted on other installations. He appeared to be a little nervous but he came through with flying colors! Because it was his first installation by himself, it probably took a little longer than normal. His first installation went very well. After he left, I attempted to program the opener into my vehicle. In so doing, I managed to wipe out the hand-held transmitter. I immediately called United Garage Door and had him return to correct my error. Their service was superb and I highly recommend them!

The company was very responsive during the initial contact. My garage door opener would sound like it was working, but the chain wouldn't move. I was informed that it most likely was a broken gear, and I was presented with my options to get it working again - either replace the gear (and most likely more parts in the future since other parts may have been weakened due to the extra strain placed on them as the gears wore out) or have a new opener installed. I was quoted a price for both solutions and we set a date and time for Jason to come out to verify what the problem was prior to commencing any work. I had used this company around the same time last year, and I was happy with their service, which is why I called them for this repair. I was told Jason would arrive between 3:00 and 4:00 on the scheduled day. I received a call at 4:15 that day letting me know that Jason had run into a problem at the job site he was currently at and wouldn't be able to get to my repair that day. While I understand that unanticipated delays can happen, I don't understand why they waited until after the scheduled time to inform me that we would have to reschedule. It would have been more appropriate to let me know at 3:00 instead of after 4:00. The service was rescheduled for the following morning and Jason arrived on schedule. After diagnosing that it was indeed a stripped gear, I made the decision to have a new opener installed. Approximately an hour later the new opener was in and I once again had a working garage door. I paid by cc (via phone), and Jason emailed me the cc receipt. I replied to his email on 1/16/15 asking for a copy of the invoice so that I would have paperwork showing what I'd had done and when the opener was installed. When there was no response as of 1/20/15, I emailed Jason again asking for an invoice. As of this morning (1/21/15) I still had not received a response from him, so I called their business phone to request a copy of the paperwork. I was informed that Jason wouldn't have that information available, which is all well and good, but either Jason should have replied to my email informing me of that, or (preferably) he should have notified the office of my request. Kaye (in the office) was very responsive and emailed me a copy of the invoice within five minutes. While the above annoyances are minor, they made the difference between a 4-star and a 5-star rating. However, I would most likely use United Garage Door in the future for my garage door/opener repairs.

I had a very good experience with them. They did what they said they would do. I called them and they said they couldn't do it that day, but the next day. They showed up, did the job, communicated well with me. They called 15 or 30 minutes before they came. They did the job, said what it cost and gave me a good idea up front how much it would be, unless there were complications. The door is working fine. They had a reasonable price, quality work and good communication. Everyone is satisfied. They show up when they're supposed to. You can count on them to show up and do the job for a reasonable price, and the work is excellent.

Technician arrived at scheduled time, diagnosed minor problem causing noisy door operation, replaced pulley, oiled parts, and charged minimum service fee. This is the second time I used this company and will call them again if garage door service is needed.

Punctual, nice fellow, professional. All went well. My only disappointment is that the door grew steadily noisier. In the summer I re-lubed all the hinges and chain mechanism myself. Either he didn't use enough oil, or whatever product, or it was not of sufficient quality to last the entire season. In any case all went well at the time of the service and the door has worked well following that time, just somewhat too noisy.

Jason was on time and took time to explain the options. The price was reasonable in fact we got the discount for being members of Angies List.
