Everyone that I came into contact with was professional and friendly. The fence looks amazing. Best looking fence in the neighborhood. They cleaned up so well that there was not a trace of wood shavings or dirt out of place I called them one week after the fence was installed because I was concerned I could not lock the gates. They came out within 2 days and drilled in locks. I would highly recommend this company to anyone wanting a new fence.

The company was running behind schedule, but only due to rain. They were efficient, friendly and did an amazing job! They answered any questions. The owner came out to check the work also.

Very pleasant company to do business with. Family owned and it feels like you are their only customer when you are dealing with them.

I got an estimate for wanting to get a privacy fence finished. I sent an email to the company saying I wanted pressure treated wood. They called to set up a visit the day after, when he was here he measured and it came to about 70 linear feet. When he gave me the estimate it seemed like a lot, then told me they do not do pressure treated wood but cedar. I am on a tight budget and 3400 dollars to put a privacy fence in was extreme. They were extremely professional and nice, but way way out of my budget.

Truedau's fence company may do a great job if you want an entire fence installed but they don't seem to want to bother with small jobs. That is their right. My right is to not recommend them based upon the ridiculously high phone quote and the non existent email quote. My brother-in-law is in the market for wood privacy fence around his half acre property. The company who installed my gate will get a raving recommendation

Everything went great. The workers were good, and cleaned up after themselves. I wouldn't even know they were there. The fence looks good. I'd give them an A+ if you could.

It went wrong - because the same day I had a competitor come out and give me an estimate. Not only were they on time and showed me pictures, they talked to me about all my concerns and even wrote the quote up on site! This provider not only did not give me the estimate that day, it was 2 days later when he called and had "forgotten" what we had talked about. After returning the call with some hesitation, I was assured I would have the quote "today". It's now a week later and I still have no quote. Checked spam - so it's not gmail's fault! Too bad because I obviously went with the competitor. This is a couple thousand dollar expense, not a casual exchange of money. I'm not even going to entertain a company that can't provide an onsite quote and make promises they can't keep before money is even exchanged.

Bob came out and gave an estimate. A couple days after he left he emailed me the estimate. I emailed back with questions about the materials. I immediately got a response back (Friday) saying Bob would get back to me on Monday. I never heard back from him on Monday. So I emailed again on Wednesday. Still no response. I emailed again on Friday. Well.....it's now almost two weeks since Bob came out and no answers to my questions. I guess they didn't want our business.

Bob was very punctual and professional with his quote. He offered advise and design suggestions for our fencing project. While their price was not as competive as the other companies that submited bids, they were a well respected company and I would not hestitate to ask them for another quote in the future.

Got the estimate. Haven't made up my mind yet.

They were excellent. We went with them because they were prompt in responding to getting us a quote. They explained everything very well and they provided samples. He was very honest and we are happy he advised to get two gates instead of one. He was just nice to work with and we were willing to pay a little more than other quotes due to the great service. I would highly recommend them.

I had a broken gate hinge on a 5 year old aluminum fence. the hinge type is no longer produced. The initial installer was unresponsive and many other fencing companies will not perform repairs on fences they did not install. With my first call to trudeau they offered to attempt to locate the old hinge type in their stock for me to install, or they told me they would also be happy to come out and place a new hinge on the gate. Within 24 hours they called me back and had located the hinge. When I arrived to pick it up, they were professional, polite, and helpful. You could tell it was a well run organization across the board. Given their responsiveness to someone they had no obligation to help out, I suspect they would be excellent for larger projects.

From beginning to end, my experience with Trudeau's was pleasant and so professional. I moved from the sales process, to scheduling, to installation, to wrap-up with ease. When the installation was delayed due to weather, I had daily phone calls to keep me up-to-date. And when I had trouble using the lock after the installation was complete, I texted with the owner to figure out how to get it to work. My backyard butts up against several others and I have, by far, the best looking fence of the bunch. Thanks, Trudeau's!

Trudeau's staff was very courteous, professional, and punctual. After making our initial deposit and signing the contract, they were back out to our house about a month later to install the fence. They did a great job of keeping us in the loop about the project as we had to schedule around the frequent rains that we had this summer. Once they came out, I spoke with the installers a few times and they were very friendly and knowledgeable. The fence looks fantastic and is a great addition to our backyard. Overall, the fence looks nice and the staff was great to work with.

Initially I was happy that they showed up on the day and time they said they would for the estimate. Other companies that I called either didn't call me back or didn't show up when they said they would. Even though this companies price was a couple hundred dollars hire than the other estimates that I received, I chose to go with them because of their professionalism. This made me feel more comfortable on the work that they would do. I was told that I would hear from the scheduler in approximately 2 weeks from the date that I paid my deposit and signed the contract. I did not hear from them. After 3 weeks, I had to call them to find out when we would be put on the schedule. It took them 2 days to get back to me and tell me when we were scheduled. We were scheduled for Friday October 11. On Thursday October 10 at 8:00 in the morning I received a voicemail message that they had an opening and would be arriving at my house in 1 hour from that phone call. As nice as it was to have the work being done a day early, this put me in a bind since my neighbor was not aware that the fence between us would be torn down and to secure her animals during this process. We got it worked out but didn't think it was very professional that they would assume the date change on such short notice would be okay. I had told them about the neighbors dogs ahead of time. They began the work and everything looks great. It did take them a week to finish the final touches. The communication could have been a litter bit better.

They did an excellent job. They were able to meet our time table. They were on time and worked quickly. They were very professional, and the fence looks beautiful.

The team was great! The old fence was removed in one day and the new fence was completed the next day. The boards were painted off site and assembled in my yard. The 3 guys who were here were friendly and worked quickly. The place was cleaned up when they were finished. Note: The company was selected by a landscape designer and I didn't shop for price so I can't comment on that.

They were willing to work with us on price. The installation crew was wonderful. We love the finished product.

EXCELLENT!!! The supervisor the job was a Perfectionist other each measurement he took. The other two workers were very diligent and attentive to details, very polite and professional. Mt. Trudeau and his sons can be very proud of their workers and had nothing but good things to say about what a wonderful company they were to work for. What a wonderful experience!!!

We had a good experience from consultation thru installation. Everyone was punctual,friendly and professional. We had a problem with the wire a few months later and they came right out &fixed it.

It was great. They're hardworking, unobtrusive and did a nice job.

I was very happy with it. They were quick getting out here for the estimates. They took a little longer than I expected for them to get out to actually do the work. But I also recognized that I only learned that the fence was coming down a day before it actually did. It didn't surprise me that that was the case. I was looking for an extremely quick turn around and there was no way it could happen with the work that they did.

Although Trudeau's was not the cheapest estimate we got by a long shot, we were impressed by their comprehensive estimate. The rep walked carefully around the entire back yard, noting existing wire-roll fences and cemented posts that would need to be removed, a couple small mulberry trees that would need to be removed (since they were on the property line), and branches that would need to be carefully pruned first (since they were in the utility wires). When we asked if they could install a foot of underground chain-link as well (because we have a husky who digs), the rep said it would cost another $1000 but was doable. Because of these complications, and the fact that Trudeau's accounted for them in the estimate, we were inclined to go with them. We had received another estimate from a reputable Angie's List favorite, but when we asked how much it would cost to take out the cemented posts of the existing wire-roll fencing, we were told that it'd be cheaper if we did it. While this is indisputably true, the fact that the company did not even offer an estimate sent the message that they were not prepared to do it. The same thing was said about clearing the trees and brush from the property line. Similarly, when we asked about a trench and underground fence, the company said that such a feature is very difficult, and they declined to provide an estimate. For a different yard, with clear space around the perimeter and no difficulties, such a provider might work; however, for us it doubtless would have turned out very badly. We wanted a six-foot-high wood fence, with privacy fencing for five feet and straight lattice ("spindle") for the top foot. We got three estimates: bare-bones cedar (no spindle, just privacy fence), slightly fancy, and very fancy. We opted for slightly fancy. There wasn't a photo that looked exactly like the style we wanted, and we were a little concerned it might look bad with the spindle, but Bob assured us that they would make a good-looking fence. Bob set our expectations for four to six weeks' wait, with the possibility that they might get an opening earlier. About three weeks later (if I recall correctly), they said they'd be out the next day. They worked straight through for most of a week. When they dug the trench for the chain link, we began to feel like we were really getting our money's worth. In addition to thoroughly digging up several stubborn (and ugly) stumps that had been chopped down years ago and pulling up a small piece of old stone retaining wall, they discovered large underground rocks, tangled roots, and pieces of ceramic pipe. Digging the trench broke several chainsaw chains and took a whole extra day. When the fence started to go up, we were at first alarmed because it looked like the "very fancy" style, and (since we didn't have a photo) we didn't know if they were working off the wrong plan. But it was indeed the style we had chosen, just with more trim than we had expected. It is, as far as I'm concerned, almost indistinguishable from the style that would have cost $1500 more. On Friday, when almost the whole fence was done, they did not have the wood ready for the finishing plank on the top of the fence. A rep from Trudeau's called me on Friday to say that it would be installed the following Wednesday. I appreciated the appropriate concern they showed over a small delay. One disappointment was that they cleared out more plants than we wanted them to, and especially that they trampled some that we had asked them to be careful with. Happily enough, the resulting effect of the removed plants is a larger-seeming yard than we started with. Clean-up was pretty good, with several truckloads of wood, brush and stone carted away -- although they did leave behind at least one cigarette butt. As a final quibble, we will probably ourselves be installing a steel tensioning cross-cable on both gates, to guard against sag over the years -- but we never raised this issue with Trudeau's, so we don't know what they would have said. (Update: Trudeau's came by several days later to take photos, and offered to put cedar cross-beams on the gates.) The fence is beautiful cedar. Our dogs can run off-leash, and with the underground fencing, we don't have to worry about even a very determined husky getting out. (Digging a hole near the fence line was the first thing he did!) Our neighbors, who recently put their home on the market, kindly said that we had made both houses look better. Trudeau's invoice arrived, exactly as estimated and despite the extra day's work that the trench needed.

Thorough, professional, excellent end result. Our fence looks the best if any I've seen.
