They were busy when we contacted them and the rain had put them behind schedule. The salesman was very nice and helpful. He also helped me with the financing of the job. Once we got them out after a few weeks they did a very nice job. We are very happy with the fence and how things worked out.

The men who put up the fence were hardworking. The salesman who took care of the contract & payments was very friendly & easy to get ahold of. The quality of the fence is excellent. We are very happy with the western red cedar wood fence we had installed. The issue we had with this company was with the job coordinator. We had problems with leaving messages that wouldn't be returned or getting an accurate estimate of when the fence would be installed. Originally the fence was quoted for an installation of approximately 2 weeks from the date of signing the contract, then due to weather & other jobs being backed up, we didn't get an installation until 5 weeks from signing the contract. This would have been fine except the fact that each time we spoke with the job coordinator we were told every week that they would be there weather permiting. Well when that day would come each week & the weather was nice, no one would come. Each time we contacted the job coordinator he would say next week. So a 2 week job turned into a 5 week job. There were some other bumps in the road such as our neighbors fence was taken down further than it was suppose to be removed, but the company made this right by putting it back up from the point ours ended. Also, we were told we had to either have a tree taken down, because our property line went through the tree or build the fence around the tree. Of course we didn't want to build a fence around the tree, so we incurred extra expense for a tree to be taken down, that didn't actually need to be taken down. The day of install a new property line was outlined & it actually went behind the original tree that was taken down. Overall, I would use this company again because the quality of the product & service outweighs the communication issues we had.

The crew was always on time and they were polite. I liked that they completely cleaned up after themselves when they done for the day.

Very pleased with service. Installers were polite in answering any questions, but got right to work. Completed job in timely fashion and cleaned up everything before leaving. Sales person was good to work with also. He was very informative and knowledgeable about what needed to be done. Would recommend to family and friends needing this type of service and feel confident that they would receive same professionalism.

In November 2010 Trudeau's built 3 sections of 6ft. wood fence for me...approximate cost of $2,600. The experience was superb from the time of my first contact with the company (via Jason who estimated the job) through completion of the project. I was elated with the job. In Spring 2011 I decided to add a 4th section of the same type of fence to further enhance the 2010 project. I contacted Trudeau's, mentioned that I was a repeat customer and requested an estimate. After a delay I was contacted by a new individual who finally gave me a written estimate for the 4th section of fence. However, the estimate was incomplete and the cost per linear foot had nearly doubled making the cost of this 4th section nearly the same as what I had paid in November 2010. When I contacted the estimator about my concerns he said he would talk to his boss about them and get back to me with a corrected estimate. This he did about a week later but the written estimate I received still was missing data/information I had asked for. No adjustment in price was made. It was obvious at this point, that the company's customer service policy had changed and that they wern't interested in my business. Four months have gone by since my last contact with this company and they have not made any effort to follow-up with me. I am no longer interested in doing business with them.

Excellent. They spent several extra hours cutting down shrubs that were in the fence line. They cleaned the entire area after the fence was installed. When the work had to be done over two days, they brought in some fence panels to block off the area so that we could let the dogs out.

They were fast and hard working team, although they did not manage to cut 2 cables (one was poorly marked).

They were not the cheapest. Two guys came did the work and everything went well. The fence which they got was six inches higher and they offered to reorder that. That was the fault of the sales person and they took care of that. The quality of the work was good. I would use them in the future.

The two men worked together as a team. They really put in a tall days work and they appeared to know what they were doing. I am satisfied.

Whiel I was waiting to have them return my call for an estimate, I went with another company.

The company did not respond to my initial call, in which I left my name, number, ahd project info on their answering machine. After not hearing from them, I called them 10 days later and they apologized and sent out a man to give me an estimate. He sent me an estimate by e-mail. I thought the estimate was high and responded in an e-mail reply where I asked if I might buy the materials from them and do the work my self. That was a week ago and I have not heard from them.

The job itself went great (check above) Russel, Pride, Steve, and Brian were top notch men. Very professional and their work on refectedit. I would hire them again. Hope Steve enjoyed his vacation in Logan.........(ha)

We were scheduled for one day and they came out, took everything off the truck, brought it to the back yard and found out they had the wrong gates because our fence had puppy pickets on the bottom to keep our small dogs from getting out. So they took everything back to the truck and left. At this point the fence sections were in cardboard or wrapped so they weren't damaged. We had to wait until the new gates came in. We were disappointed because they had about two months to get the order in and they still didn't get it right. But we were still okay with it. The really disappointing thing was when they came back out to install it with the proper gates, their workmen carried the fence around stacked on top of a wheel barrel with no protection and I watched as they dumped them off and on to the ground. I cringed when I saw them do that. After everything was installed and when we looked the fence over, there were so many scraps and gashes and gouges that I called them to tell them. I was told by Russell that it was just the workers "frustration" because they had to deliver it twice. Okay...well, a small $6,000.00 fence should not have been treated that way, and their solution was to come out and spray paint over the scraps and gouges. When Russell was here I showed him that the two corner posts were not connected properly because they had been cut too short. Also, my fence was a matte finish and they had put two shiny post tops on that didn't match. That was in September and I was told that workers would just show up and replace the post tops and the two posts. I haven't seen or heard from them. At this point I don't want them coming back and tearing up my yard to replace the posts. I'm not happy about it, and I think that I should have been offered something other than spray paint and the excuse of worker frustration. I wanted to let everyone read about my experience with this company. We are happy with the choice of fence, but the company really disappointed us.

I cannot express how well this company performed this job. Mike Trudeau came out and explained all of our options and gave us great ideas. He initially encouraged us to go with a vinyl fence (which would have been much cheaper for us) but our housing development only allows wood or iron fences. Much of the work was done at their location except for the picket slats. The crew was very professional and very methodical. They enjoy their work and are proud of it. I would not hire any other company to do the job. We are very pleased with the results. They also have an excellent warranty.

This was one of several companies I contacted in late Sept for estimates. When I signed the contract Jason advised me that it would be 3-4 weeks, which was not a problem. They actually came sooner than I expected and did a very good job. The crew was neat, courteous, and amazingly quiet--no blaring radios, no yelling. The supervisor consulted me on details such as the gate placement and took care with several details that I had told him I felt were important. My only quibble is that the representative, Jason, who made the original visits and the follow-up a few days after the fence was finished, tended to arrive earlier than scheduled. I didn't mind him being 15 minutes early, but an hour was a bit much. Still the work was excellent and the fence looks great--I would definitely recommend them.

At least they were upfront with their response. If the job was too small, I can understand. I had selected this company by their Angies rating and their website.

I looked up several fencing companies on Angie's list to get estimates for a fence. Trudeau's was the first to call me back and were very quick to get out to my home for an estimate- within a few days in fact. I did have to make two or three phone calls to get on the list for installation, which was a bit frustrating because I wanted the fence ready for warm weather so my toddler could play outside safer, but Trudeau's acknowledged the delay and included the extra gate supports at no charge as compensation for the delay. The fence took about three days to install, and looks beautiful. We are very happy with their work.

The workmanship stood out. They gave an excellent price, informed me, and did a great job. I think we have the best fence in the entire neighborhood.

Mike came out and worked with me to ensure that I ordered the type of fence that was appropriate for my needs and what I wanted as far as design. Russ met with me to ensure that the rear fence was installed where appropriate for the structure of the fence and within the boundaries of my Lot. The installers were on time and worked efficiently to get the job done. This was not an easy fence installation as they had to cut old posts out of the driveway and install the new posts in the driveway. They had to even deal with a crazy neighbor, but were able to handle the problem and get the job done on time. The work they completed is very, very good..clean, neat and very good workmanship! Two follow up questions were answered promptly.

It took several days for them to return my call. Then they weren't interested in my home fence project.

I had a short fence replacement task that most companies wouldn't want to be bothered with. I knew I could do it myself if only I could find someone who would sell me just the amount of material that I needed. Several companies on Angie's list didn't want the job and also would not sell me the material but Trudeau's was more than willing to help. They cut just the amount of materials I needed and were more than gracious in providing this service at a very reasonable price. I would definitely consider them again when I need a larger fencing job done.

The crew was excellent and professional. Work was completed on time and efficently. Cleaned up when done. I had a few concerns but Russell contacted me immediately and stop by my property and put my concerns to bed quickly. My neighbors all like the new fence and I have recommended Trudeaus to numerous people. I would definately hire them again.

The workers were meticulous. They cleaned up well, and raked dirt back where they dug posts. My only issue was that they did not confirm the exact date they were coming. Therefore, we were unprepared for them to come. They tore down the fence one day (Thursday) then it rained the next day (Friday) so they didn't show up. They didn't come during the weekend, but finished the job up on Monday. Had we known they were coming on Thursday we would have told them to hold off because the weather was calling for 100% chance of heavy rain. We have two dogs, and we could not let themn out to use the bathroom for 4 days and they won't "go" on a leash.
