Description of Work: The Garage Door Guy replaced the spring on our Wayne Dalton two car garage door. Disabled with limited mobility opening the door with the broken spring was very difficult. The Garage Door Guy was able to fit me in to his already busy schedule. He diagnosed and gave me the estimate when I first talked to him on the phone. He arrived on time and stuck to his original estimate. He worked quick, was professional, friendly and cleaned up after replacing the spring. I would use him again and recommend him if friend or neighbors needed garage door work.

 + -1 moreI had previously used James for a repair to my door. It was such a good experience that a year later, I decided to have him replace my door which was 30 years old. I can't say enough good things about the process..... James answered all of my questions, ( even the ones I had after our initial mtg while he was on vacation) and The price was very reasonable. My neighbors had replaced their door the week before and paid $200.00 more than I did. The night before my installation, I decided I wanted to replace my garage door opener and James had several quality models on hand for me to choose from that were reasonably priced and he guaranteed. The installation was completed in just under 2 hours (as he promised) and he cleaned up so well, I couldn't tell he had been working in my garage! I would highly recommend this company for garage door repairs, maintenance or installation.
Description of Work: Replaced garage door for two car garage including rails, cables, springs and new trim around door. Also installed new Linear garage door opener with wireless keypad and wireless remote.

 + -1 moreMy garage door spring broke on Sunday afternoon, I was unable to open the garage. I called James, he was very helpful and agreed to come out that same day to replace the springs, he suggested we replace both springs @ the same time to avoid the same issue in the future with the other spring. James was very professional and quick, both springs were replaced in about 1/2 hour. James also lubricated the garage door to help it run more smoothly and more quite. I would highly recommend James.

He asked a few questions over the phone and was able to skillfully diagnose the problem so he would be sure to have parts needed when he arrived and also was able to provide an exact estimate. He arrived right on time and had the door up and running very quickly. The work was very neat and professionally done. No high pressure sales pitch to sell me anything elseI didn't need which I consider a major plus! I would highly recommend this gentleman to anyone needing garage door service!

Description of Work: I had two separate experiences with this company. The first experience involved replacing an old garage door. The company was much cheaper than anyone else for the same brands of garage doors. James (the owner) was very polite and efficient and I was very pleased with the work. The second experience involved replacing the opener and fixing the door. I was having trouble with one of the cables on the door and the door was jamming. As I was trying to assess the problem, the garage door opener stopped working. James came out and noticed that one of the tracks was damaged (I later figured out that the roofing company that was replacing the garage roof had backed into the track and did not tell me about it). He installed a new garage door opener and he even repaired the damage to the door. Although the damage was someone else's fault, he repaired the damage free of charge! Needless to say, I will always recommend this company.

 + -1 moreOur garage door chose the Sunday evening of a holiday weekend to decide not to close. I checked the list the next morning (Memorial Day) and made a few phone calls. Of the calls I made, James was the only service provider to answer directly (as opposed to an answering service or machine) and said he'd be able to come the next day. James called the next morning to arrange a time and rang me again before showing up. Although he was a little bit later than he said he would be, he took his time to thoroughly effect the repair and then explain what he had done. I can't say much about quality except that the door now opens and closes as it should. I expect that it will continue to work for some time yet. James left no mess, was very pleasant to work with and charged what seemed to be a fair price.

He told me he was on his way to another job, but could be at my house between 12:30 and 1:00. He called before he arrived at 1:00. He had the part in his truck and was able to remove the broken spring and replace it in less than an hour. He was very courteous and professional. He was respectful of my time and reasonably priced.
