Description of Work: Davey's Customer service was terrific. Brian visited the job site multiple times to discuss my concerns regarding large tree limbs overhanging residential buildings and power lines. The crew did a great job of navigating their large equipment into very tight spaces to access the tree. Our project took place on a rainy day, but they took care to ensure that no large ruts were left in the ground from their equipment. The entire crew was very professional and I appreciated it when they gave me the opportunity to inspect their work before they left the site. Great job!

Description of Work: The arborist made I initial visit to assess conditions of trees and to develop work plan and cost. They were hired to do tree pruning. The arborist was condescending and not very nice however the work he said they would do was done well and at a reasonable cost. I will not use them again until they replace their arborist.

Description of Work: They did a deep root treatment on all of my trees and shrubs. They also pre-treated my weeping cherry tree for boars. They confirmed when they would becoming and they leave a note after. Billing comes in the mail a few weeks later.

Description of Work: Their estimator came out to bid our 16 tree removal job and quoted us $8,000 for the job which ended up costing $4,000. The man didn't seem like he wanted to be there or to do the job and I was just as happy when he left. I would not call them again, even for an estimate.

Description of Work: I called them several times and they never returned my call. I used another company, costing me about $2500. Perhaps Davy wants bigger jobs, but I'll never call them in the future.

Description of Work: They trimmed 5 trees |Removed one ash tree |Came back later and ground out stump. Waited a long time before they came back to grind out stump. They told me the machine was broke and they were waiting on a part. | |Some minor damage to yard from taking tree down. I called them back and they reseeded several spots in the yard, but it wasn't a very good job. | |They never called to tell me what date they would be out, just showed up one day and knocked on my door. | |

Description of Work: We hired Davey to trim, remove the dead limbs, and cable two 30 plus-inch diameter horse chestnut trees in our back yard. They did a nice job; however, we would have liked to had the Arborist come the day of the service to discuss the work. | |Davey is expensive for a three man crew to trim two trees, remove the debris, and install 3 cables it took approximately 4 hours and cost $1,844.70. Watch their quote language in the fine print they state they have insurance, but that they are not responsible for any damage. They did remove this language when requested.

Description of Work: Brian Heath, their arborist came to give me an estimate. He was very informative and helped me make decisions. He was very reassuring that if anything was wrong, he would make it right. The crew, Kyle and another Brian showed up on time and also were very nice. They were efficient and did what they said they would. I would recommend them to my friends ( and already have)

Description of Work: Removed a mature sweetgum tree. Removed a branch from an oak tree near power line. Pruned ornamental cherry tree. Ground stumps of the sweetgum, and a honeysuckle that had been removed previously.

Description of Work: All trees and bushes were trimmed, one large tree and stump were removed,and one additional stump was removed. | |Davey tree was prompt, professional,and did a great job. I would recommend them.
