The Davey Tree Expert Company- Columbus & W Columbus

They were scheduled to show at my residence on 7/19/2022 between 10 to 12 am. No call no show. I was home and working in my yard so I know they never showed up. Unusual behavior for a company such as they. The work was awarded to another company.

I was very satisfied. They showed up when they said they would, were friendly and courteous, listened to what I wanted, took the time to explain what they found up in my trees and cleaned up after themselves. In my back yard, they knocked a wire/cable loose from my house. They let me know and reattached it to the house before they left. One of the trees they worked on has enough rot in it that they recommended that it come down in the near future so I'll be contacting them to do that in the spring. I was pleased with their work.

He was extremely quick to get back with me but pricing was on the higher end.

They have been very knowledgeable about our spruce trees. Very helpful. This has been the best experience we could have ever hoped for. We would definitely hire them in the future.

The workers were polite and professional. The work took about 7-8 hours. The cleanup was excellent.

These folks did a great job at as reasonable cost. We had several trees to be removed, with one so close to the house the roof spouting went around one half of the tree. Davey had the right equipment and personnel who knew what they were doing. They got the job done carefully, without damaging the house and they clean up the mess just fine. Their price was less than their competitors too. Would I use these guys again? You bet I would.

Did not use Davey Tree this year for this service since I chose a different company for a more competitive price.

It went great. Kyle Bates, who is a certified arborist, came out soon after I phoned in November and explained how they would go about the work and how it may impact my tree. He was knowledgeable and patient, and I knew he was being honest with me. I had received an estimate from another company but there was no further question in my mind; I would go with Davey Tree Expert Company. They used a crane to safely remove the tree limbs, which were much too large for rope work. It was a big job. They coordinated stages of removing the large limbs with removing the small trees in front, so they were always working. They cleaned up afterward and hauled everything away. It couldn’t have gone more smoothly. When Kyle handed me the estimate in November, I sort of last-minute asked him if they could remove the vines growing on my porch, too. In December when they had completed work and gone, I saw that yes, the vines were gone too! Davey is my tree company, and I would recommend them without qualification.

They did their works professionally and effectively. They cleaned the site after the works. They were always friendly.

Trimming involved going over property line. Joe, an Aroborist, went over my needs and planned and bid the job. He was very accommodating and made at least 1 extra trip to go over plan with the neighbors. The first time trimmers came by wasnt completed as originally discussed. When I called Joe they immediately came over and completed the project as originally discussed.

We had one huge tree trimmed. The top half had died. We also had some minor trimming done on a tree that was hanging over our roof. We will use this service again each year to get our many trees back in shape.

Took down numerous large crossing branches and cleaned out dead wood. Removed sprawling juniper bushes planted in the 50s. Made a dramatic difference

They have done 2 of the required sprays and fertilized the tree.

This is the second year of treatment and will probably need a third year to get rid of everything

they cut off some branches and came twice to do treatment.

Awesome job they showed up on time worked very hard and carefully as we are in a very close community with a lot of cars and houses very close together and traffic on the street. There work was a crew that works together in perfect unison, They did the work to my request and time constraints. Everything went perfect from the removal to the cleanup they did an awesome job and I would highly recommend them.

You should hire them, they were fantastic. I wish I could give them an A+.

Very well, they are extremely efficient. I especially like the fact that they did not push for extra work, just the work I wanted them to do.

I had tree service done a couple of years ago. I usually have them come out and do some trimming. They have the most qualified people. They come out and do a good job. They make sure to clean up and take care of everything. They tell you what they're going to do. They're very professional, let's put it that way. The price is more expensive.

Wonderful crew and great results. Matt and his crew arrived on time and reviewed the work to be performed. All the gear (trucks, chipper, and skidder), everything needed was present. The work consisted of thinning two 60 year old Siberian Elms, thinning three Lindens and taking down a dead 40' Scotch Pine. Everyone knew their task(s) and finished up in around 4 hours. The area was raked clean and all branches and limbs were removed and chipped. The area on the street where the chipper was parked was swept clean. Everyone wore the appropriate safety gear and worked safely. I'll definitely be using this crew from West Dundee, IL again

They were good.They just did what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it. They did a great job.

These guys are awesome! They got here and got right to cutting things down! It was amazing to watch them up in the trees so effortlessly. They did a great job and cleaned everything up. Will definitely call them for all of my arbor needs.

It was quite a bit of vines. I remember that they came out in a timely manner. The work turned out great at the time. Unfortunately, the ivy is like that, and it's grown back since then.

Davey's tree servic did what they said and cleaned -up well. The price was reasonable.
