I remember my husband saying, we had a swing set in the yard and he moved it out of the way so that they could get to the tree at that point but they didn't move it back when they were done, but other than that it was fine. Put the swing set back where it was.

They did a good job for us a couple of times. Last time we used them, they didn't do so well. We switched to somebody else. Quality was good. They were here when they were supposed to be here. We didn't like some of the things they did and the way some of the people acted while they were here.

They're an excellent company. I ended up having to have the tree taken down. They've been here a couple of times. I thought they were very honest. They seem to be very reliable.

They're very good. They've kept our tree going. It's an old tree and the fertilizer and the stuff that they do is good. They will be doing the fertilization again. One of my neighbors asked me about them because she has got a tree and the branches kept falling off the tree. She has it in front of her house. She liked them too. They did the fertilizing and it has helped the tree. Whatever it was that was lacking, they helped it. I would definitely give them a good recommendation. I don't know what other people would charge, but it's reasonable to me. They call back pretty quick. If something happened and they couldn't come at the time, they let me know. I have no problems with them at all. He was very nice and very helpful, somebody nice to talk to. Sometimes you get people that aren't that great.

They work and they keep the bugs away, which is what's important. They keep the trees healthy and growing.

They do it every year. They've worked fine. We've been using them since 1994. They fertilize and then they come and apply a spray against rust - that's the term they use for this plant disease - but then, other trees get a different spray.

Very well - top notch service, equipment and employees

We do Davey's for lawn care and they've done tree trimming, they've taken out the tree. They're spraying the crab apple trees, which are making are making bigger crab apples, which I'm not sure that's a good thing except that the deer do come and eat them. My husband said he wanted it down so we had a guy that came around, he took that down for I think 200 bucks, took it away, that was nice except he was supposed to come back and grind up the roots, which he did not, so we called Davey's, so they did and I said they're going to have to order dirt. They ground it up, they put the dirt, they did all of that.

Kyle, the Arborist that came for the free consultation was excellent. He was very thorough, and explained in layman's terms the primary issue related to the root system of my maple tree. He was professional and not pushy in his recommendations. We plan to use Davey to eventually remove this tree and will be switching our lawn care to Davey as well.

The experience was wonderful. Very impressed with the employees and their training. The equipment used was in excellent condition and made the work clean and efficient. Very pleased with the quality of work and the pricing was very fair. Will definitely use again and highly recommend this company.

They are the only ones I have used.

Service went very well. Tree was in the front yard (maple) over 40 feet tall but dying. Had it down in less than 15 minutes. Cleaned up everything that had come down. They had a big chipper, we also had some work done on our spruce tree with disease. Some branches were dead took those off and cleaned the appearance. Now starting new growth and branches. Very pleased. Cleaned up and swept the street and our yard perfectly.

Very good, good service, fair price!

I was completely happy with Davey's work. I had a dying pine tree in the backyard. They diagnosed the problem and took out the tree with no issues. They did it while I was at work, and the removal was so clean that it took me a while to figure out what was different about the yard. they identified another pine tree that was starting in on the same disease and treated it to prevent tree death. They also recommended a growth retardent on a locust tree in my front yard. They have applied that once per month for three months in a row. They provided details about what they were doing every step of the way. They come in, do the work, and when they leave, they leave the place spotless. I am very happy with their work and would use them again.

Contacted Davey Tree on the advice of a friend. They were the second service we contacted. Kevin, the Arborist that came for the free consultation (used their coupon) actually did a hands-on inspection for our ash tree and pine trees. He was very thorough, explaining about the ash borer and since our tree looked healthy treatment would be important. When it came to the white pine, I told him in the span of 2 months it died. He went over to it he looked the trunk over thoroughly and informed me bark beetle was the reason the tree died and the other 2 pines next to it had the beetle also. He showed me where they entered and exited the tree. He was that thorough. Next he went over the pruning we wanted done and made recommendations. The crew came out today and pruned the trees and cut the pine down. In speaking with the crew chief, James, I discovered he was also a certified arborist so I had no reservation about asking him a question I forgot to ask Kevin. We are extremely happy with their work and clean up.

I was running late so I had to push our appointment back. Thankfully, Tom was gracious and flexible. He assessed our property and gave us several options, keeping our budget in mind. He estimated a fair price to remove 3 oaks, up branch trees in the side yard, and haul firewood. Unfortunately, we have several projects we need to complete, and we did not have the budget for all of them. We are really hoping to use Davey next summer.

We got the name from a neighbor and that service has been fine. I have not worked with them, my husband did. He seemed to think they were a little high priced, but other than that they have been good and fair. they come out and are pretty responsive. I know one time they did not get a payment from me and I had paid them on the computer online. I don't know if it was not set up right or it just did not go through right, but they were good about that. They don't really tell me a time when they are going to come out, but they have kept up coming out twice each year for the past several years.

They first stage went very well. The trees look lovely, balanced and low limbs no longer attack you while mowing. I had them come back to do another 100 y/o tree that is not in the greatest health. It was done, it was OK, but it wasn't symmetrical. The Arborist came by to check and he called me to say that it wasn't done as he instructed and that the crew would be coming back. I was so impressed that I didn't have to complain. I don't like to complain and that is not my area of expertise. I thought the price was fair for the amount of work and the size of the trees. Customer service is awesome.

It was very professionally. Explained what steps they were going to take to get to the part out of my yard, which was locked by the neighbor, and she had to remove her car from the driveway. She agreed to since that was the closest angle for them to get out. They were delayed because we to wait for her to get home, but they were willing to work with me. They excellent work. The cleanup was great and I'm preparing to have them back. You can't even tell that an apple tree had lived there.

The three guys did a great job. The trees were very tall and they had to get way up there to complete the job. They were very professional and knew what they were doing. It was windy that day, but they still managed to get it done--and all were safe at the end. They removed all of the trees and put them in the chipper. They were very careful not to tear up the yard as they were dragging the extremely large logs to the chipper. Great job!

They've done work for us over the years. We had a run-in, not with the people who did the service - who are always very good - but with their accounting office, who were absolutely impossible, to the point that the woman in the office hung up on me, which in my opinion is not exactly what you do if you want good customer service. Their price is fine. They left some debris around this time, which is sort of unusual. We will continue to use them, despite the office. The only criticism was that after they were finished, they didn't clean everything up, which they usually do. That's quite unusual for them. Davey Tree is certainly regional. We've used them for 20 years. We've never had a bad experience with them. The people they hire to do either the estimates or the actual yard, are really very nice people and they're very well trained.

I've used them for years. They're excellent.

They did a good job. If I wasn't satisfied, I would not pay them. They did a fine job. They were a little bit late. I had another tree service that came after that who was a friend of my sons and they did a much better job.
