A representative called to confirm the exact location of the trees and the work to be done, then came out the following day and left the estimate in the door. I was grateful not to have to miss work. We decided to try to save the trees instead of cutting them down however.

They had good reviews on Angie's List so I chose them. They were excellent.

The estimate was high compared to others. I have had them in the past and been very pleased with them.

They are good. They are reliable. They seem to know what they are doing. They have changed sales people a couple of times. They seem to be doing fine. We have heavily tree?ed lot. They have really good response time. They don?t massacre trees. They keep the natural shape for he tree.

They're a little pricey, but they're experts. Their service is great. They always answer their phone and come when I call.

They did a fine job! The cleanup was outstanding. I had no problems at all with this company. I would call them again!

excellent - received quote quickly and set up work date -- team was there with bucket truck and amazingly worked in my small driveway on trees that were only about 1 foot to my iron fence and close to my house - Entire trees taken down by chain saw and crews cleaned up -- my only surprise is that I had to make a different appointment (and different payment) for stump grinding because this isn't part of initial work

Davey tree has the most professional and skilled tree removal experts of any that I have seen. They brought in 3 large trucks and a crew of about 8 men. They laid down wood panels to avoid making tracks in the lawn. In several hours they removed a large tree from a difficult location between the house, fence and wires. They completely removed all cut wood and did a thorough cleanup. They may be more expensive, but these are the guys to call for a tough job.

Work was performed quickly and professionally.

Company was very quick to provide an estimate, provided a 10% discount, and were easy to schedule the tree trimming work. I had gotten 2 other estimates, and they were clearly the most reasonably priced, and provided expert tree advice regarding species, problems, and options on how to deal with it. Main office was very efficient in scheduling within 5-10 days of my signing contract and told me what to expect. Crew arrived at the designated time, worked solid day cleaned up the debris, stacked logs, chipped branches, and as time ran out scheduled a follow-up visit to grind out stumps. Crew arrived within 5-minutes of start time, and provided expert advise. Definitely would use them again!

They were fine. They are very good about trying to be neat. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves. They are very good about not bothering any of the neighbors. The people who came know their trees and the ones that they are cutting down. They took out four trees last year and they were wonderful this year. Everything looked great.

They were great. Out of all the quotes we got, they were the cheapest. The service was very good. They didn't tear up the yard or leave a bunch of stuff lying around. They were not able to grind the stump, but there was a gas line close by. I would have liked to know that they were not going to do that.

I'm pretty pleased with them. I don't really know what they do, because they do it without me seeing it. Sometimes they ring the bell after they're done, so I don't see them.

Excellent. Arrived on time to give me an estimate. Very knowledgeable about trees. Gave me honest recommendations that saved me money. Performed the servies when scheduled and left no mess behind. Very nice to work with.

The job was priced for us in th summer of 2009, but was scheduled for the spring of 2010. A call from the firm asked permission to do the work on or about April 13, and that was agreed. The work was done on the date and at the time stated, and required two to three hours. As usual with Davy, the work was done very professionally. The work generated a lot of debris, but there was no sign of it when the crew left.
