Straight shot, without any problem. Had to break for a thunderstorm, but continued when the lightning and rain stopped. My electrical drop was within fifteen feet of the Gum but never came close with falling limbs. These are super professionals. I have used them since the late 1960's- People changed through the years but the company's excellent work continues.

They do fertilization and weed control. It is sometimes difficult to reach them and get messages to them. The service is great and they are very good about doing what they say they will do.

Ironically, we had mixed them up with another company that had come out to do some landscaping for us. Had we realized that, we would have gone with the other company because it's a local company. Davey's prices turned out to be a little higher. The tree that they planted didn't look all that great. I am not surprised that it made it through last summer but I wouldn't have been surprised if it didn't make it through the summer. Since then it has flourished and it is looking pretty good. It looks as though it has established itself so I am not worried about it dying. It was a pretty ratty looking tree that we got. We were really closed especially when we realized that it wasn't the other landscaping company that we wanted to come out and plant the tree and do the work. We liked them better and they had done other work for us. Davey had done work for us in the past. Had the tree looked a little bit worse or had it struggled a little bit more, we probably would have called them to either get a replacement or get our money back. Now it is fine and we are content with it. I think we could have gotten a little bit better deal had we gone with the local company. Davey's did a great job on the mature tree. They did a great job the first time they did it other than cutting down a blue jay's nest. This time there were no birds' nests in the tree. They were fine in terms of work and everything. Now that we have our heads on straight we know which company we are going to go with in the future. We would use them in the future definitely for the thinning. For any other landscaping we would probably go with the local company. We got mixed up because we dealt with the arborist or manager or landscaper from each place and we just confused which guy was with which as we had phone numbers and names written down. We thought that the Davey guy actually worked for the other company.

Everything went fine. They were responsive, punctual and thorough.

We use them all the time. We have an annual contract with them. They are highly professional and highly experienced. They are very reliable. We have used them for 20 years. The price is reasonable.

Workers arrived when expected and completed work as promised.

I have been using them for about 10 or 15 years. I am pretty satisfied with them. We have a lot of trees and that's why I use them. I use them for my lawn service too because it's convenient although there might be better people for that. They are going to be pruning my big trees sometime in the next couple of weeks. It's pretty expensive but they do that every 3 years. We have a lot of big trees. I guess I am happy with them. It's a little expensive, but I really haven't had anyone else to compare them with. The tree service is great but the landscaping work they did wasn't as good as I wanted. They are very responsive and very punctual.

They arrived when I expected them and all communication was good. I chose another company that was $300.00 less.

Sudden down winds cracked several branches on a large tree in the front yard. We had Davey take care of those branches and trim the entire tree. During the process, one of the heavier limbs accidentally hit our front post lamp, breaking it. Davey took care of the lamp replacement bill. We thought they were very professional and would use them again.

They did a good job. I've been using them for two or three years and I will continue to use them. I think they are better at tree service than lawn care.

They basically did everything that was required on our lawn. They were pretty good. They were getting a little bit more expensive every year so we decided to cut costs and started doing it ourselves. That's basically what happened. They were doing a normal job, nothing extraordinary but nothing bad either. In the end they were charging us $45.00 per application for one time. That multiplied by 5 was the total cost for the year. We didn't have anything to judge them by on the responsiveness. They scheduled appointments themselves for coming and doing everything needed. They were fine and we didn't have any problems with that. They basically scheduled their own work so I wouldn't know about their punctuality. It is very likely that we would use them in the future if we ever decide to have the service again.

The crew did an excellent job. They performed the work safely and with minimal damage to the grass despite felling a large tree. They cut the tree into fireplace sized logs so I could split them later for use in the fireplace. The pruning work has really helped the appearance of the remaining trees. I would use them again.

I didn't choose them because they were very expensive. They were, however, very professional and knowledgeable. I'm sure that if I had an extra $500, I would have went with them. It was pretty expensive for what I was requesting. I wasn't asking for any trees to be taken out or anything.

It was very good. They came out when they said they were going to and took the stump out. There weren?t any problems.
