He took his boots off every time he came in the house, and left my house as clean as when he arrived. We have loved working with this company! The price is extremely reasonable, and every person we've encountered has been wonderful. Plus, we love our new gas fireplace!

Description of Work: The gas fireplace insert/logs in my recently purchased condo had not been used for several years and would not stay lit. The logs needed cleaning and that was done quickly and efficiently. I received courteous initial contact; quick appointment, and excellent service. The serviceman was delayed at the job before mine but called to explain. I had no problem waiting so did not need to reschedule. He was very polite and gave me easy to understand directions on lighting and maintenance of the unit.

He completed the job and took me through the operating of the new gas log fireplace system. He gave me plenty of info and tips and was very nice in answering any questions. I liked the sales personnel at the store and liked the installer as well. I felt I paid a reasonable price for a really nice product. Description of Work: Called them to look for a gas leak discovered by Columbia Gas. The gentleman from Specialty Gas found the small leak at a connection at the meter. He had to use detective work to find it, and I think the fact that he was experienced made finding the leak easier. I had talked to another company who implied that our basement drywall ceiling may have to be torn apart, but thankfully, given the experience of Specialty Gas, this did not happen.

Description of Work: With the harsh winter, I wanted to have the propane tanks and connectors on both our gas fire pit and gas grill checked out before we put them to use for the summer. Specialty gas sent out a technician within a day, checked out all the connections, thorough inspection, was sure that we were SAFE and good to go for summer. Great peace of mind. Very responsive, professional, spent time, thorough. A little pricey for the service provided, but worth the piece of mind and quick response. One thing I really appreciated: we set the time for the appointment and the tech called 30 minutes in advance to tell me he would be 5 minutes late. No problem, of course. But that told me a lot about their customer service. - excellent!
