Very well. The service technician was very. helpful and answered all my questions. He clearly knows everything about a gas fireplace. I now have a much better idea of how to use and maintain the unit

He completely fixed the logs, replaced the switch which turns them on, and cleaned the glass panel which covers the logs.

Gas fireplace kept shutting off after a few minutes. Service was easy to schedule, technician was on time. He did a thorough inspection, talked to his supervisor by phone, and the problem was diagnosed and fixed promptly. He stayed around for a while to be certain the problem would not recur.

Job went well. They cut the price of gas line connect because we bought the lugs from them. The tech was able to use some of the existing gas line to save us $100 off the labor. Logs, remote with thermostat, + gas line connection all cost $1012.

Everything went extremely well. I started out looking to replace a gas insert and decided to treat myself to a new grill. I went to the shop location and worked with the friendly staff who assisted me in picking out the right grill. I was able to schedule installation for the very next day. The installer was able to start earlier than planned which was great with me. Everything went smoothly and burgers was on the menu that night.

The technician was very conscientious and professional. We thought that we needed to replace and he told us that was probably not the case. He cleaned our fireplace. Organized the logs as they should have been place. Our electric switch now works. Explained more about the fireplace. Saved us the cost of replacement. Honest. Very satisfied customers!

We couldn't have been more pleased with the work! Josh was great and very patient in explaining the features and benefits. We wish we would have contacted them much sooner, but so happy with the work and the results.

Specialty Gas met all our requirements. The logs heat our drafty family room beautifully. Specialty sold us the right equipment, arranged for a timely delivery and did an expert installation.

The Workman arrived a little early! He was knowledgeable and friendly. He gave me a good assessment of my 40 yr old fireplace insert and cleaned the chimney. Would definitely hire again.

My enclosed gas fireplace had not been used in well over 2 years. I wasn't sure if it was in working order if it needed to be replaced. The tech called and arrived early (worked great for me), quickly assessed the situation, cleaned the unit and lit it. He also took the time to help me understand the functioning of the unit. THAN YOU!

Called and made an appointment. Appointment time was 2 P.M. The service tech, Connor, called about 12:25 and said he could come earlier. He arrived within 10 minutes. Came in the door with all the tools he would need--no extra trips back to the truck. Began work cleaning and adjusting the fireplace and was out the door by 1:15 P.M. Very professional and clean service. I highly recommend this company.

They were great! Very responsive to my questions even squeezed us in before Christmas !!! The guy that came out even helped me in the crawlspace below to get the gas valve more flush with the floor upstairs which he did not have to do . The fireplace worked fine after he fixed the pilot light but was super helpful and was willing to make sure that we could access the gas valve that kept slipping below the floor.

Thomas called ahead and arrived at the time he said he would. He inspected the area and we discussed what was anticipated (i.e. drilling a new line and multiple hours of work). As part of his inspection, he removed the covering cap (something the first company did not do) and found that the valve was not actually bad, it just needed tightened (something the first company really should have figured out). Thomas tightened the valve, all was fixed with no leak, I was back to work within an hour of leaving, and all for the standard service call fee. Thomas really could have just came in, drilled, earned the anticipated fee (which was, in and of itself, reasonable), and been gone. Instead, he took the time to review the situation and trouble-shoot the problem. He really saved me a bunch of money. This company really has earned my business for my future projects. I really could not be happier with this company.

They did a fantastic job. We visited their showroom to see what our options were and the person that helped us there did a great job of finding something that fit our needs. The install crew did a great job and really went out of their way to make sure they kept the room clean. The whole process was much easier and faster than I expected and we are extremely happy with the end result!

Great work, I would definitely hire them again, Walt was really awesome and knew what he was talking about, its hard to find good honest people today.

There was just one guy. He was here for about an hour and a half. We have not had a chance to use it yet. He said I was smart getting it done then because by september they are booked solid.

The day before the appointment, the owner called to say they cannot do the work (even though all had been discussed with the person who set my appointment a week ago). The service tech came out the next day anyway, with a bad attitude, and confirmed they would not do the work. I should have had him turn around and leave when he came in the door. It was painfully obvious he did not want to be there or do any of the work that I had scheduled. Time to call another company and wait another week to get my gas stove hooked up. I know others have had a great experience, but mine was way on the other end of the scale.

gave info over phone, he said they don't come out to give quotes, asked me to take pictures and email them to him, he seemed very nice but after thinking about it, if he isn't even going to look at the project prior to me potentially hiring him AND I was going to do a lot of work to get a quote, he immediately gets crossed off the list. This is sad since he is "so highly rated" ...

I would recommend these guys and will use them again. Very professional and knowledgeable.

Extraordinary - he was prompt, cleaned everything, explained most everything I needed. I was overwhelmed, really, with how easy he made the experience for me. THe finished product was beyond my expectations - I have seen others undertake this, and they paid more and it didn't look as nice and they didn't have a good experience. I'm so glad I stuck with my neighborhood craftsmen.
