Sears Carpet Cleaning and Air Duct Cleaning

The carpet dries in no more than a day. $150 was special deal.

It was good. The carpet stayed wet longer than we expected though, but the results were really good. It took about a day and half to dry.

The guys who cleaned it were good, but the price was high. They increased the price when they came out. They gave me a different price over the phone.

They are good! They are always friendly and do a good job. The carpet dries in about half a day. I will always use them. I have been using them for 5-6 years now.

They were recommend to us by a friend. They did a good job! They removed the stains and were in and out quickly. They came out timely as well.

For three rooms, it's about $99. I love Sears! I have been using them since the year 2000. The workers are always nice and polite. They always seem to give you 100%. They want you to be satisfied. They have good deals. I like the way they clean. When they leave, it looks so fresh and clean. I prefer them over other companies.

They really did a nice job and they were very professional and courteous. He worked quickly. The sofa was dry in about 4 hours.

We had some stains we wanted out. The carpeting was brand new, but a lot of the stains came back. They were good in terms of everything else though, coming out timely for instance.

They were okay! The cost was a lot more than I expected. They originally quoted me lower and they wanted to add things on. The carpet dried by the next day. I would consider using them again, but not for carpet cleaning.

I was not please with the first technician because he didn't move any of my end tables or my nightstand. The initial technician had also talked me into doing extra services that cost appoximately another $150.00. I called them back and told them that I wasn't satisfied with my service. They sent out another technician who asked me what exaclty the issue was. I explained that the smaller furniture wasn't moved. I explained that I have dogs and the hair can really build up. The second technician said rather than me just doing the small furniture, why don't I just wait until the next time that I need them and they will send two technicians out and move everything. I explained that this wasn't acceptable and that I didn't feel that I had gotten the service that I had initially paid for. I then asked if he would move the smaller furniture and a sofa. He refused the move the sofa for me so I ended up moving it myself so that he could clean behind it. I am 70 years old and if I could move that couch, he could have as well. I asked him after moving the couch, if he would now be willing to clean behind it. He did end up cleaning behind the couch and then I ended up moving it back in place. I called the company a second time and ended up leaving a voicemail for a supervisor and am still awaiting a call back.

They did a horrible job. I will never use them again. I had to call Stanley Steemers to redo the job. I tripped because they were wet. I was not happy with the cleaning. I would not recommend them at all.

I had a good experience with them. This was their first time cleaning. They were professional. They told me exactly what was needed and they accomplished it. We are going to have it done every year or every other year and we would have no qualms calling them back.

The cleaning was sub-par at best. 288.00 wasted. They did okay, but want to milk you out of money with the added deodorizer. enzyme cleaner,etc.. I will never use Sears again.

We closed on our new home that morning and scheduled the carpets to be cleaned that afternoon. While we were in the closing, we received a call asking if they could come earlier because they had a cancellation. The guy said "...if we can come earlier it would really help us out..." We agreed to get there a little earlier, but this really put a wrench in our carefully scheduled day. They guys were nice enough, but I didn't appreciate the 'up sale' that they tried after they arrived. The guys were very informative regarding carpet care. Unfortunately, the carpets were left VERY wet; this is the reason we would not use their service again. I've had our carpets cleaned by other companies before and I have never had carpets left this wet before.

They were fantastic. They had great communication. They sent emails. They called the day before. They called when they were on their way. The service technician came in and measured our area rugs and said that we had overestimated their size and so we actually ended up paying less than our original estimates.

The Technician was prompt, gave a 30 minute courtesy call. It took a while to set everything up. It was 21 degrees outside, so the house got really cold. They have to turn off the furnace and one door has to be propped open for the hoses. Took about 2 hours to complete from setup to leaving our house. I could hear all kinds of stuff going through the large tube, so I felt like they were getting a lot out of the system. The only reason I did not give an "A" is because they were a little rough dragging the hoses around the house. I had to use the "magic eraser" on a few walls as a result. He did not wear anything over his shoes either, but he did wipe his feet when appropriate (no noticeable stains left). After turning on the furnace I did notice more heat coming through the registers, especially, the ones I was concerned about.

They left garbage in my basement / furnace room such as face masks, pieces of metal they cut from the duct work, a restaurant receipt and monster amounts of dust. I don't feel they did a good job at all. If they left that kind of mess on the floor I'd hate to see what the ducts looked like. Supposedly they cleaned the dryer vent but the lint trap wasn't emptied which they should've addressed that first. My family has used Sears services since the 50's and their service has gone downhill in the last ten years.

Sears is great. They did a fine job and I give them 5 stars. The price was higher than I thought. I thought that it was higher than I usually spend but they did do a good job. The quality of their work was great but I thought they charged more. Sears was fine and I might use them again but I like doing business with people that are trying to make a living.

They offer good value and they did a good job. The workers were very careful around our furniture and were patient in answering questions. I was impressed with their service and plan to use them again in the future.

They are very prompt. They come exactly when they say they will. They do a great job in getting pet stains removed. They are very courteous and professional.

They gave a free dryer duct cleaning when we ordered the carpet and air duct cleaning. They did an excellent job on carpet and air duct cleaning but the guy who cleaned the air duct is obviously not experienced in dryer duct cleaning. So we had a small issue and Sears resolved it soon which I am very satisfied. Overall, I think they are great. I will use them to clean carpets and air ducts in the future for sure.

Everything turned out ok, it wasn’t what I expect though. He was upset that there was still dog hair on the carpet when he was trying to clean the carpet.

The technician was prompt and curtious, and he took care to explain what he was doing. The work was done in a timely manner, and the quality of the work was good. The price was more than reasonable for this service.

Arrived on time. Did quality work and answered all my questions. Will definitely use again.
