Sears Carpet Cleaning and Air Duct Cleaning

The thing that would make me not want me to go back to them was them laying their equipment and stuff on my beds and things in the bedrooms and on the upholstered furniture. I have a problem with that. They are working on the floor, they can put their things on the floor and not be laying stuff down on something that I would have to wash or felt like I had to wash, which I did. I wouldn't lay those things on my own bed or chairs or sofas. If they are professional, and they have done this before, they've been in the habit of treating other people the same way and that is not professional. They were not Sears employees, but sub contracted by Sears. They don't make Sears look good. I was not pleased with this one aspect. I think they did the best job that they could but I felt like my place wasn't treated like someplace where somebody lived, but more like a work place.

It was okay. There were a number of spots that I wanted them to get out but they did not get out. My house was empty. I was selling my house and my carpet needed to be very clean. I was under the impression that they were going to do a much better job and they didn't. There also seemed to be a mix up about the time and about a number of other things. I wouldn't use them again. Because I did it right, my house was only on sale for one day. It was very important to me that it was perfect because I knew I could sell it in one day and I did. I thought that they would put more effort in to it. They did the basics. There wasn't any furniture to move, it was very clear. I have been trying to get spots out. The carpet was light and it was light when I moved in there. It was obvious to me what needed to be done. Once they did the basics, I went back in and did all the spots. I paid more than the big deal price but I don't remember how much. I think they could have done a better job especially since it was in and out. There was no furniture to move, no children in the way and no cats. They could have put a little more time on it. I don't know about punctuality and professionalism because I wasn't home.

The technician was friendly but confused about how to run the deal as I had already paid for the service thru Angie's list, so he had to call the office. He kept getting a voicemail recording and had to wait for a return call. His cleaning job appeared to be thorough, and he even put the furniture up on foam blocks to allow for better a

We liked them. They were good. They did a good job.

They did it because it was under warranty with my appliances. They used to be on it when I paid for it a long time ago for about 6 years, that it was supposed to be warrantied every 6 months to keep my warranty up on the washer, dryer and everything in the house. It used to be that if you had to pay 2 service calls a year then they were supposed to replace it but I guess for the last 6 or 7 years that I have had it, they changed the rules on this. They won't replace anything, they just fix whatever needs to be fixed. It cost nothing because the parts and everything was part of the warranty. The poor guy had to climb up on the roof because my dryer is in an older home which has the duct going up to the roof.

If they did a bad job, I would have remember so they must have done a good job.

They were okay; it wasn't stellar. Sadly what bothered me was, I called on one of the $99 whole house specials but by the time they got done adding what they called extra areas, that I necessarily wouldn't, the whole thing ended up being like close to $200 which didn't make me happy. I thought I had asked all the appropriate questions and since then, they didn't come out. They didn't tell me that they absolutely would, but I just thought that Sears is supposed to be a big name so I was looking forward to a better performance.

It’s been a while. They did a good job because I have discovered that other people whom I have previously used did not clean out well, I still have the original dust and that explains their work.

It went fine. They were very good.

They were not able to do the work because it was a conflict with my air condition. So they could not do it and told me it was impossible for them to clean my air duct. He explained it to me in a way that it was situated and the way that they installed my air condition. It was Midwest who installed my air condition and they had to do it that way. So sears could not clean the ducts. So I?m still having the same problem. So Sears did not do anything. He did not lie to me and said that he could not do it. He could easily talk me into doing it regardless of whether he could do it correctly or not.

It was not as good as they've done in the past. We've used them three times prior and it was fantastic. This time, it was almost like they were rushed. The results were not as good. It didn't turn out good. It was not the service that we'll use again.

The service was just fine. It went out absolutely great.

It was good. They were courteous and prompt. They explained the services. I have used them before. They were reasonable. I compare them to other companies.

Service was fine. The service technician was here before and she does a good job. I was pleased with their earlier service, so I had them to come back. I also requested the service tech again because she was very personable and did a good job.

They were outstanding. They were very thorough. The younger guy was outstanding and I remember him well. He paid attention to details. He puts cover to the furniture. He was careful not to splash water on the place. He explained basically what his process was in cleaning the carpeting. He even did explain about the chemicals so I thought that was impressive and I never had that done before. It was a good experience. The price was good for $100 for four rooms. I don't have any negative thing to say about the gentleman. He talked about his personal life a bit.

It was very well done. They used a really good equipment. They guy was extremely courteous. Everything was put up on either telephone blocks or plastic pads. He asked if there were other areas he like me to do for price that did not include certain thing because we still have money that we can use. He was willing to do extra work. He was great.

I was not very satisfied with it. They used water to clean my furniture and I thought that would have been some chemical to pull out the stain that they should use but they used straight water. They found out that I have a pet and there would have been an extra charge to take away the pet odor and dirt. I was not made aware of that. But basically the major frustration was that they used water for cleaning and then try to sell me the chemical cleaning product and then try to sell me some additional for pet odor and dirt as well. You usually use a chemical when you clean a furniture or dishes or whatever to get it clean and remove dirt from it and usually pull that odor but all they used was water to clean my furniture. I was not very happy. The offer was for $99 but I think I paid a $112.

I was very pleased! I have had Sears cleaning before, but it isn't always the same person. This last time, they did a particularly nice job. It was well worth it! I like the products they use and I like that they left me some product because I have pets. Their products definitely work!

They were really good! The carpet dried in 6-7 hours depending on the area. I have hired them 4-5 times over the last 6 years. Their pricing is very competitive.

They were fine. We had some stains on the main floor and they did fine. Even though the apartment was small, they had a minimum price. We only had a stairway and a living area though.

The guy who cleaned the carpets, there was some high pressure salesmen-ship for a enzyme pet cleaning treatment. I did add that one, but I regret adding that on because I didn't perceive any sort of a pet problem before. In fact, I feel it left a sort of oily finish although that did go away. I would not hire them again for carpet cleaning, but definitely for another service.

The air duct cleaning guy was very thorough! I really liked the way he explained everything. One vent was clogged and he did a very good job with that. I would recommend him to anybody!

They thought they got it out, but often times you can't see the outcome until the carpet is completely dry. One of the stains, the candle wax, they removed but were not able to get the color out. The other stain did not come out at all. I didn't call them about the issue, but if I had they probably would have come out. The technicians are very thorough though. We have been using them over and over for about 11 years now. Overall, I am very satisfied with them.

It went fine. The carpet dried by that evening, although some areas not until later in that night. I didn't have any issues. I felt they were a little on high end though.
