They did a fabulous job and it was just incredible.

We felt that the price was too high for the kind of work we needed them to do. They quoted about $4000 for the job. The guy was very prompt and very timely. However, the quote was just too high.

They were very personable, efficient and steady. Mr Turner spent extra time on the plaster work to repair damage from an old roof leak. He made the experience, which could have been a hassle, very positive. It was expensive but well worth it. My prior experience with home renovation have been very negative. Mr Turner gets an A +!

As always, Jim was gracious and professional. He knows his business. He was very helpful in suggesting places to look at wallpaper designs including the Internet. I've used his services before for wallpaper removal and must now decide if I want just removal or also rewallpapering. ($1,182.00)

We contacted several contractors to evaluate our walls and offer an estimate. Jim was the ONLY one who took the time to explain the exact process he would use to remove our wallpaper. He took the time during the initial consultation to look under the switchplates to see exxactly what he would be facing and how best to take care of our needs. Within a few days of our initial consultaion, Jim provided a detailed work plan and estimate of time and costs. We hired Jim because it was obvious he was a true professional -- a genuinely honest contractor ready to perform a service at a reasonable cost. We would hire Jim a million times over -- he worked hard (no dilly dally, no cell phone calls on our time, etc.). We certainly got more than our money's worth.

Everything went great! I spoke with Mr. Turner on the phone and he gave me a ballpark figure for the room. Then he came out to our home to look at the room and the paper, give a formal proposal and finalize the price. We hired him to do the work, because of the reports on Angie's List and his experience level. Very professional and friendly. He arrived promptly on the day of work, and he worked all day - over 8 hours. He put down drop cloths from the front door, through the house to the dining room (and over the dining room floor) floor to protect the floors. He removed all the wallpaper and washed the adhesive off the wall. The walls are now ready for us to lightly sand, prime and paint. We are very pleased, because he did in one day what would have taken us several nights or weekends of work. He did a wonderful job for us.

It's the third time I have had him at my home. The first was for wallpaper and the second was for painting. He did an excellent job. I am so impressed with his work habits. It took him three days to do such great work. I never moved any furniture. He did it all. He is an excellent worker. I would use him again in the future. Hopefully I will find more work for him to do soon! He is a very pleasant man to have at your house for three days! He even gets along with animals. I have a dog and he is great with my dog.

Jim returned my call promptly and came out to see our rooms. He provided me with an email estimate within a few days. Once we decided to move forward Jim was on time and very personable. Jim did a great job and had a lot of patience with our old wallpaper. Clean-up was excellent.

This was a large room with many odd angles in a 105 year old house. The walls had many issues and took much prep work, all very carefully done. The results are beautiful and should last for many years.

Jim has done several large difficult jobs for me in this old house. His work is impeccable.

Wonderful. Originally hired Mr. Turner to remove wallpaper from dining room and paint room. He was so professional, reliable and dependable, we brought him back to do the same for kitchen and dinette. He consistently went above and beyond, accepting packages, letting in other workman, patching wallpaper in daughter's bedroom, and was kind and patient with the entire family (the kids were so sad to see him leave). He made the experience as non-disruptive as possible.

We had a great experience with Jim's company. He provided us with an estimate 7 days ago and completed the work yesterday. The work took 4 full days. During that time, Jim arrived on time, worked hard and was extremely professional. We had a short "window" since our house is on the market and we had to suspend showing while the work was being done. We needed to make it available for additional showings as quickly as possible. Jim removed wall covering and I followed behind him repainting the walls. Since Jim also does painting, he provided me with several helpful time saving tips along the way. He is very enjoyable to work with. We were impressed with the care he took of our home. He covered the hardwood floors to make sure there was no damage and also used tarps on top of the heavy paper that was taped down. Jim repaired some previous damage to our walls. I do not believe that he did any damage to our walls or to any other part of our home. At the end of each day he cleaned up the work areas and the end of the job gave the areas a thorough cleaning. He hauled away all of the trash and left our home in a neat and orderly condition. We were extremely pleased with the quality of his work and with him as an individual. We would recommend Regency Wallcraft to anyone needing wallpaper removal or installation.

They were very courteous and polite and had wonderful work ethics. They did a unqualified job of getting walls smooth and clean. They left the rooms spotless.

He was very pleasant to deal with. He did a great job, he was very meticulous. It was a difficult job because it was very old wallpaper but he was able to do it. One part of the wall was damaged when removing the wallpaper but he immediately fixed that.

I was so happy with previous wallpaper removal and repair of wall project that he did for me that I hired him again to clean, paint, and water proof the entire large basement of this home. Jim is very knowledgeable of his profession and is extremely neat and meticulous in his work. I will hire him again in a heart beat for any wall paper or painting project.

I called Regency Wallcraft and Jim Turner, the owner, came out gave me an estimate on the job. I felt the price was very fair for the work he needed to do. Jim did an excellent job removing old wallpaper and repairing the large cracks in the plaster walls. When Jim was done, the walls were better than new. I was extremely pleased with the prompt service and the great work he did. I was so pleased I hired him for another job on the spot.

Once Jim started he discovered substantial termite damage behind the drywall. He advised us and stopped work. He suggested another contractor to handle this type of damage. He did not charge for any of his service. He was a very polite and professional worker. We have since retained him for some other work in our home. We were extremely pleased.

I believe anyone who chooses to work with Regency Wallcraft will be extremely happy. Both that quality of work and the cost of the work provided exactly what we were looking for. Excellent customer service!

While no one would want two weeks of a tear up, the job was organized so that after two days we could replace photos and bric - a - brae in two rooms. In another two days we put furniture back into a spare room. My husband and I actually enjoyed cleaning house and our church garage sale will benefit from our painting job which was a clean out for us.

I had attempted to take off the wallpaper myself. I spent an entire day getting about 1/2 of the wallpaper off ONE wall only. It was tedious and difficult. When I got home that night I started calling vendors from your list. I reached Jim first. We talked and agreed on a price and Jim had an opening for the next day. He arrived on time and was there all day. We arranged for him to leave a bill, which he did. He then called the next day to find out how we liked the job. The job he did was perfect!

Jim is very pleasant and professional, was on-time for the estimate appointment. Just can't comprehend how he thinks he can justify his quote. The only thing I can think of is that he didn't want to be bothered with the job.

Jim has done almost all of our home, only 2 ceilings remain to be finished in the near future. All the work is excellent!

Turner showed up carefully examined the disaster zone in my kitchen ceiling where the lights has been installed. Beside seven holes and assorted scars, a strip (covered with wallpaper) "finished" it off. Turner's solution was cleverer than the other firm. But the main reason I hired him was the positive previous experience. The two quotes were nearly identical. The jobs took about 2 and 1/2 days. It is hard to believe the resulting combination of raised ceiling and recessed low-wattage lights wasn't planned that way as opposed to being saved! Whereas I would have picked an off-white, Turner came up with another "white" (out of maybe forty) that really works great! I could go on. The message is simple: Trust Turner's judgment and workmanship.

Jim showed up as promised and went straight to work. The process is not fast and it took longer than a day. He returned promptly the next day and finished. The seams between panel are smooth and look great. The only exception is the room I thought impossible; the laundry room where the wall paper had shrunk a little. A thin space is visible between part of two panels. I don't noticed. He advised a colored pencil that picked up the primary color of the paper would improve the look. I haven't bothered. A few months later I have trouble remembering where the wallpaper had peeled loose.

He said he would call back later in the evening. After three days I have yet to hear back from him.
