Jim was prompt and very professional. The painter involved in the next phase of the project is pleased with the condition of the walls. Jim did a good job protecting woodwork, floors, etc. and cleaning up after paper had been removed.

I've worked with many contractors over the years, and Jim stands out as one of the best, if not the best. His professionalism, deep knowledge base, pleasant manner, and meticulousness all contributed to the great success of a somewhat challenging project. My house is old and the papers I chose were very special (costly too), requiring specific, out of the ordinary prep that Jim understood. He took the time to contact the wallpaper companies directly to ensure he had the correct materials and prep plan. This is service one doesn't get routinely with less experienced wallpaper hangers. I appreciated his care in creating a work proposal (bid) that was very detailed. The number at first seemed high to me, but that was my own faulty understanding: I didn't fully understand, until he got going here, just how many hours this project demanded. But Jim knew it. I will gladly pay for careful prep and deliberate setup/teardown. In the end, it's the better economy. Jim was unfailingly polite, professional in demeanor, and easy to work around while the project was ongoing. He knows more about wallpaper than anyone, I am sure!

We furnished the wallpaper. If you order the wallpaper before consulting Regency Wallcraft make sure you account for wastage based on the repeat pattern. Jim Turner came out and scoped the job in person and gave us a detailed estimate. He was able to schedule us in right away once we agreed to go with him. Very professional job. Very happy with the result.

I asked Jim to take a look at our wallpaper situation. We have several different types of wallpaper and he was able to provide advice and tips for each one. We didn’t end up using his services but he was extremely helpful and professional.

Jim responded very quickly and came out to provide a quote at my convenience. He did a thorough, beautiful job of wallpapering three small areas with an expensive paper - and didn't waste a square inch. He asked me for decisions on small details, like whether I wanted the inside of a shelf and the outlets papered - things I never would have thoughts of - and I really appreciated him taking the time to offer options rather than deciding for me. The house was empty for the most part when he did his work, but in the middle of the job we started moving in and for the most part he was able to work around the chaos. He started and ended in the time frame he estimated for us.

Jim arrived as scheduled to give me an estimate and explained in detail his process. I contacted several other companies for a price and none of them came out to look at the job. They called and quoted the job over the phone. We went with Jim and scheduled the work for March 12 & 13. Jim arrived as scheduled, both days, and covered all furniture and floors where he was working. He did a great job with the wallpaper removal. Walls were clean and needed no repair. He cleaned up everything and even wiped down the baseboards. You would never have known he had been in the room except that the wallpaper was gone. Jim is professional, prompt, hard working, completes the job as scheduled and does exactly what he says he will do. He won’t be your least expensive price BUT is definitely who you should choose for your wallpaper removal!

Jim gave me an alternative solution, which did not include hiring him! I appreciated his honesty, as well as his professionalism, friendliness (especially to my pup) and promptness. I would have hired him, if I had needed his services.

The owner Jim Turner did an excellent job as usual. (We had also hired Jim in Aug., 2016 to remove wallpaper in a bathroom and study.) It's very important that he does such a thorough job, since we will now have the bedroom painted (as we had done in Aug., 2016) and do not have to worry about remnants of wallpaper and glue that would impede the quality of the painting. Jim finishes the job by completely washing the wall. He cleanly covers all furniture and flooring before proceeding to execute the job. And he is very willing to share his expertise when we have any questions. He is a perfectionist, and we're very satisfied with his work.

I have called them at least three times from August to October and left voice mail with no return calls. I believe a lack of return call warrants poor scores for responsiveness and professionalism. I was surprised given their generally high scores.

We were thrilled with the way the bathroom turned out! It looks completely updated and modern. Jim was very professional and did a great job. The pattern we chose was very graphic and you cannot even tell where one he pieced the wallpaper together. I would whole heartedly recommend Regency Wallcraft for any wallpaper job.

Jim was fantastic, and it was a pleasure working with him. We are on a time table to get the renovations done in a month before we move in. Jim was available immediately. He was very professional as well as punctual. Jim's work was excellent, and he left the walls in great shape. Jim was in our condo for a week (if that tells you how much wallpaper there was). Each day he cleaned up completely and left our condo in good shape. Jim is very meticulous is his work, and I would highly recommend his services.

The owner Jim Turner is a real pro. His knowledge and workmanship are really impressive. It was a 2-day effort, and he was here in a week (and always on time) after we agreed to the project. He is a perfectionist and a smart, experienced guy. After each day, the rooms were spotless and odorless (we have dust and chemical sensitivities so that is very important). He completely removed the wallpaper and glue which was not a simple feat given the age of the walls and accompanying imperfections. His price ($1,113) was significantly higher than competitors and we were contemplating a "B" on price for this review. On further thought we realized the lack of stress and worry, the quality of the work, the professionalism were well worth the price. And Jim went the extra mile to explain the ins and outs of the project. As an extra, to allay our concerns, he injected glue with a hypodermic needle through the canvas in the bathroom ceiling so it would adhere to the plaster securely. This was not contemplated in his proposal nor included in the price. This really saved us in time, effort, and money - one prospective A-rated painter wanted us to hire a drywaller to address the ceiling problem; another A-rated painter refused to paint the ceiling and risk the ceiling caving in. It only displayed their lack of knowledge and experience and Jim's wealth of knowledge and experience. So if you want excellent workmanship and minimal stress and worry, Jim is your guy. And he is a nice guy to deal with. The only problem is - he doesn't paint! He is solely a wallpaper guy (from my understanding).

The wallpaper removal went great. Jim took fantastic care of our extensive woodwork and removed the wallpaper with care. He was very attentive to the details. He was also just fabulous with our dogs! He removed 3 bathrooms, a long hallway, entry way, living room (with pink grass wallpaper....), kitchen, etc. Whole process took 2 weeks and 2 days.

Extremely professional. Very punctual. He worked non-stop for 9 hours to complete the job. He was very quiet and cleaned up everything when he was done. Jim truly is a craftsman and prides himself on his work. This is not easy work - he was such a huge help to us! Will use him again.

We needed wallpaper removed from the master bath, hall bath and half bath at the townhouse we had just purchased. We disliked the stuff so much, we called Jim before we had closed on the property! He came out 2 days after closing and saw the bathrooms and discussed what his plan was for removing. He emailed us an estimate within 48 hours, we accepted immediately and he put us on his schedule for 2 weeks out. That worked out perfectly for us due to some other renovation work that was going to be done immediately. Jim had told us the job would take 3 days (a day for each bathroom) and he would arrive about 8:30. He arrived when he said he would, put down drop cloths on the floors leading to each bathroom, taped builders (?) paper to the counters to protect the surfaces and got to work. He was so quiet, we didn't know he was there! It was a delight to have him in our house! No noise, no mess, and he was always working! Just a quick break for lunch ! When he was finished with a bathroom, everything was cleaned up, the counters clean, the tile floors spotless. The walls look fantastic! Jim left them ready for us to prime and paint and he was worth every penny! Not only did we want someone who could remove the wallpaper, but we wanted someone that would care for our home like it was there own. Jim was that person! Anyone can put enough moisture on the walls to loosen the paper, anyone can use enough force to scrape it off, but at what cost to your drywall or plaster or your tile, carpet or hardwood? We had read the reviews that said Jim was a perfectionist, and we are so glad that we had him do the job for us!

Jim came out when he said he would, provided a detailed written estimate, as well as offering practical tips. Jim performed the work when he said he would, was personable, prompt, and courteous, and cleaned up everything. My only regret is that I did not use Regency Wallcraft to remove all the wallpaper in our house. Wallpaper removal is difficult and time consuming. In my experience, to avoid wall damage and frustration, hire a professional to do this job. Regency Wallcraft did a great job and I would highly recommend this company. It is well worth the price.
