Quality Air Heating and Air Conditioning

Found that we didn't have a problem with our heat exchanger as part of a free second opinion. Another company had said that we needed to replace our heat exchanger which would have cost $2,000. I will always call Quality in the future. The Quality technician was very professional.

They did a great job and found out what was wrong with the machine.

As can be noted above, cost was not a factor in any way. However, the timeliness, professionalism and courtesy of this company should be noted. They did exactly what they said they would do, and in the time period they gave. I would gladly refer them to anyone looking for a quality company!

I had a repair and I called them and they got on the list. I have ESP with gas where I pay a yearly fee and they do your repair and I called Quality to see if they worked with ESP and they didn't but they said they would and then they got in with them and they came out and fixed it. I have a boiler and one of the pumps was not working but I am sure it was pricey because when I used to have to pay for it myself the pumps were like $400 a piece. I didn't have any dislikes. They were very nice. They even went above and signed up with the ESP. They didn't have to do that. I do not have to make an appointment. I just say they know that they can get in there so if they are already out in here for something else they can just go down. I do not have to be home.

Ryan was extremely helpful. Talked us through all the options and what we needed and didn't need for our furnace and A/C replacement. Also walked us through the maze of rebate programs available from Columbis Gas and AEP. First price came in high but he worked with us to get it reasonable. Once we decided to have Quality do the work Ryan had someone here the next day because our old furnace was completely shot. I would hire them again without hesitation. Only reason for the "B" on quality is the install was not as clean as I would like. But Ryan looked it over and came back himself to make some improvements for us, including some return air duct work that was not part of the furnace or A/C install. He truly seems to care about the quality of their company and work.

They arrived on time (around 8 AM). I left them alone in my house because I couldn't stay home. The installation would have been completed by 3:00 except they had a problem with the thermostat, and returned to pick up a new one. Ryan came back to my house the following day to show me how to set the thermostat and do all the paperwork for the financing. The furnace runs quietly and is keeping my house warm. Have not gotten the first bill yet so can't comment on savings.

Installer arrived when scheduled. Worked in a timely manner and were both knowledgeable and courteous. (offered the best price and warranty).

It was fantastic. They are great awesome company. They come when they are supposed to come. They did a great job. I have 7 different bids, they were all within a couple of bucks with each other, it was more about professionalism more than anything. The people are really nice.

We set up a time for me to meet at a rental property I am remodeling. I had another company doing work there that day. The rep from Quality came early, checked out the furnace - which was toast, as I feared - left me a message, and left. The a/c was never even looked at. From there on out a sales rep dealt with me. Now because of the age of the a/c and furnace and water damage from a tenant, a figured I would have to replace them but I wanted to see if there were any last leg remedies in the interim. The technician's message said the furnace wasn't salvageable, but the sales rep told me he could help me get it serviced. I didn't feel he was being dishonest, I think he was just trying to keep me happy and earn my business. He came back and met with me and gave me a set of options and pricing for replacing both units. I felt a little bit like I had wasted my $49 because I never got any actual service, but I also understand that people need to be paid for their time, and it's always a fine line when there is a service call that turns out to be something that can't be serviced. The sales rep was polite and professional, and told me I should have received a little more TLC from the initial contact with the company, and that was enough for me to feel OK about the whole thing. I ended up going with someone else for the new furnace and a/c, but price was the only factor. He also pledged to apply the $49 towards the installation price. Quality Air wasn't far off, I'd say within about $700, but it is a rental and for me, price was always going to be the deciding factor. I know some of the more popular names in HVAC would charge me the total price Quality was asking for a furnace OR an a/c unit to be installed. They have a good product line and a fair price, so I would still recommend them, I just happened upon a deal somewhere else at the last minute that worked in my favor.

They were quick to schedule my install and prompt. Received two estimates, and Quality Air was by far the most reasonable. They were willing to answer all my questions.

They are a terrific little company. The technician that came out was great. He is very knowledgable and helpful. I have used them for tune ups for about 3 years.

I had been using Quality Air to service our home HVAC. So when I needed to replace an air conditioner at a rental property I got an estimate from them. Their price was about two hundred dollars lower than another so I went with them. Within two years the tenant complained that the A/C was not working at all and actually had never been as good as the previous one. An independent service man determined that the compressor was kaput. and said it was very unusual for a compressor to go so soon. He suggested that there must have been some deficiency in the installation and that Quality Air should "give us a break". Although the compressor was still under warranty ( a compressor should last 15-20 years) labor was no longer covered. Quality verbally estimated the repair at about $700 saying that the refrigerant is very pricey, I asked if they could make some concession on the labor and they said no. I contacted another HVAC company and explained the situation and they said they could also get the compressor under warranty but that Quality Air would be most likely to give me a break. So I set up the repair with Quality Air and asked again about the cost and they said it would only take a few hours and suggested that the $700 was a worst case scenario, The bill came in at $740 of which $420 was labor. Another $150 was "reclaim" and the refrigerant was $45. I thought they should have made at least a token concession on the labor. Even if legally, technically, they were not obliged to make a concession on the labor at the very least they should have stuck to the verbal estimate. This is just plain bad business, "How to alienate a customer 101" and I will NEVER use "QUALITY" air again and would advise others to look elsewhere for their HVAC service.

I was very please with them. The young guy that came out to my home, Josh, was very hard working and professional. He was pleasant and informative. I was very impressed with him. His helpers were always kind, polite and very helpful also. The sales person was very informative about the different models available, but he was not pushy.

Quality Air gave us exemplary service from description of our options through to clean up after installation

For the three service appointments, the technicians arrived at the specified time (an actual time, not a 4 hour window) and were polite, knowledgeable, and accommodating. In one instance, the technician (Jeff) waited while a building manager was tracked down and a key to the roof was obtained, all without complaint or any mention of rescheduling. The work was performed as per expectations, and the unit is working wonderfully now. The technicians were conscientious, and left the work area clean and uncluttered after each visit. I was so pleased with the service we received from them in repairing the unit, that I have contracted them for a fall and spring service under a maintenance plan.

QUALITY AIR HEATING was very responsive and came out when they said they would, quickly found and corrected the problem (a failed capacitor). The only quibble I have is they charged $132 for the part which seems to sell for $10 to $17 on the internet. $50 for the part would have been reasonable I think. The technician was quick, polite, and professional. They were on the job for less than 30 minutes. They charged $90 for the service charge covering 70 minutes of travel and work time. I think this is reasonable.

We had a inspection done on the old furnace in our new house (should have done it during our initial home inspection) and found that it had large cracks in the heat exchanger! Called the home warranty company and told them we needed a new one. They said they had to hear that from their contracted company, so Quality Air came. They responded quickly and punctually, and of course just opened it enough to confirm the diagnosis (for which we had $100 subtracted from our insurance reimbursement). They gave us estimates to replace the furnace and old air conditioner, including two or three types of furnace. I have been happy with another company for many years and they do a great job PLUS their estimate for the same kind of furnace (but different manufacturer with better warranty) was much less expensive, so I did not use Quality for the work. However, I found absolutely nothing wrong with my experience with this company. I would use this company again if I weren't already so satisfied with another, however, I did not experience an installation.

We had used Quality in the past and have always been extremely pleased with their honesty, service and responsiveness. They were able to come out within a day to complete the service. The technician was on time and completed the service quickly and efficiently. Thanks for the great service!!

The repairman was very good in diagnosing problem,did not try to up sell .I liked that.
