The sales presentation that Bill did was VERY thorough and he was very accessbile for any questions. He was also very responsive to questions and professional. The price was a bit on the high end but was able to negotiate it down a bit and through in a longer labor warranty which helped. The tech's came out to the house right on time, did what needed to do and even finished a bit early which was great. Very professional team of two guys.

It was great. The technician was extremely knowlegeable. I knew that the company who installed the furnace did a poor job, and the tech immediately saw the problems and fixed them. He was punctual and polite and the price was reasonable. I purchased a service agreement with them and had them come back a couple weeks later to do some maintenance on the a/c and fix some of the existing installation problems there as well.

They are very good. They did their work when they said they would, and they did a good job. They did a little more than I expected.

We ended up personally knowing the owner; it was a colleague from years ago. It was an excellent experience! They were "Johnny on the spot"! They were very professional. We had a bid that was $500.00 cheaper, but we were getting an upgraded furnace with Northland. They were very prompt. Within a week they had everything replaced and up and running. It has been almost a year, and everything is great! The new furnace dropped our budget $35.00 a month. They recognize that they have one individual in their company that is not the most responsive. They actually stated that when I came in contact with that person, and things didn't go as fast. When you call the owner he is very responsive. We have referred him to someone else.

The inspection was free and the installation was priced lower than I thought it would be. They provided me with great quality work and they were very professional. I was very pleased with the service.

They are efficient. They are extremely punctual and polite. All the technicians are knowledgeable. They don’t have a great employee turnover; the technicians have stayed with them for a long time. With Protech Northland Heating and Cooling, we know that we are in good hands. We have a contract with them. We also find their prices to be very competitive. Since we have been with them for so many years, we get priority service.

Was informed by a service technician that furnace was leaking carbon monoxide and that the heat exchanger needed replaced at a cost of $1300.00 and a new furnace would be $1977.00. Called Protech Northland Heating and Cooling to get an estimate on a new furnace. Mr Tinsky, the president of the company, met with me. During our visit, he made a few phone calls and found out that the heat exchanger was still under a 20 year warranty and there would be no charge to us for the part and that they could replace the heat exchanger for $750.00. We opted for the repair. I appreciated Mr. Tinsky's experience and diligence in providing us a choice of options.

Compressor in old A/C had locked up. We had several quotes of different brands and different companies. Bill Tinsky from Protech Northland really helped explain what the differences one would find and what was needed for our house and in Ohio. He explained clearly the various features that are available. We also plan a room addition and wanted to be sure the A/C and existing furnace would be able to handle the increased space. He evaluated our existing heating system and assured us that it was more than adequate (while others were uncertain). After we placed the order for a A/C unit (Lennox) and arranged for installation, he called to say that the model we had ordered was not available but he had arranged to get the next better model at no additional cost. On the day of installation, their technicians arrived and handled the whole installation very professionally, kept us informed as to what they were doing, cleaned up after themselves and explained the unit operation. We were very pleased with the installation experience and our whole experience working with Northland and would recommend them to others.

They are very good. They are punctual and do the work at a good price. They don't try to sell you things; they just want to fix your problem.

I called them in December when the furnace was not working and they came out immediately. I would recommend them to anybody! They took care of all clean up after installations.

They are proactive, reliable and I will continue to use them.

They did a good job. We had no problems with them and they were on time and stuck to their quote. They did everything in a day and we were happy with their work.

I called Bill Tinsky to say I had decided to go ahead with the work. He arranged for a fitter to call next morning. This was particularly welcome as one of my family was suffering badly from dry sinuses. His fitter arrived on time. After the work was completed he cleaned up completely. He also took the time to show me how to operate and maintain the humidifier. I was particularly surprised by the care he took over the external thermometer. There were no visible cables that could get snagged or trap dirt.

I was having problems so I called them back out. They came out and were able to locate the problem and did a recheck without any addition charge. It sounded like the inducer motor so they drained it to release any condensation. After a couple of days the motor sounded better, they put in a drain hose instead of replacing the entire motor. They were able to save me from spending $400.00 on a new motor and repaired this problem for only $53.00. I have used them for over 15 years. I find them to be prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable of their product.

My house did not seem to be adequately cooling so I called. They came out the next day and looked at the A/C unit. My unit had very little refrigerant in it and they filled it up. They checked the outside unit and down in the basement. It took about an hour. The technician was very professional and was relatively young, but appeared to know what he was doing. He did mention that we might have a leak, but this is not something I should replace the unit because of. The unit is 12 years old, and when I asked if I should replace it, he mentioned that if it was him, he would wait until it went out rather than spending thousands of dollars now for something that still works well.

I had several estimates. I have used this company before with good success. The owner, Bill Penske, came to my house to measure. They installed the units quickly and took away the old ones.

They arrived on time, on the same day that I called and performed excellent service, explained each step as he went along and I have already hired them to check out the a/c system in the spring.

It was a very good experience. They did a good job. They came out promptly and their prices were right along with everybody Else's. They finished the job quickly and I would consider using them again.

I have used this company for about 15 years. They are honest and trustworthy and I never worry about them in my home. They are punctual, reliable and the service people are always cordial. They never leave a mess for me to clean up.

The sales person was very professional who explained the systems and answered all of my questions. I received several bids and I selected them. They gave me more explanation and I like the looks of their products more. The installer was very very good. He had to work in a very small space, I never heard any bad language, he was always calm, very quiet and he answered all my questions as he was installing things. He stayed until the job was finished. He worked almost a 12 hour day that day.

It's the best money we've spent. We don't usually buy service contracts but are glad we do with them. They're very prompt, professional and thorough. If there is a problem they are very good about explaining what the service needs are. In one case they discovered a overloaded circuit near our furnace that probably avoided an electrical fire. We've never felt pressured as far as them trying to sell us something that wasn't needed and based on the good service they've provided over the years we really trust their judgment.

We've been very pleased with them - no problems. Price includes the two service calls and also puts us at the top of the list for emergencies.

Responded quickly,ordered parts, and repaired promptly. Followed up next day when we experienced lights flickering and tightened circuit breaker at no charge even though it was not in their scope of work.

This company has performed furnace and A/C check-ups previously and I have been pleased with the technicians. This time I decided to purchase a Tune Up Maintenance Plan since I have been happy with their customer service.

They're very thorough and nice, they haven't sent anyone I haven't liked. They do twice yearly checkups on my furnace and AC and they always do a good job.
