scheduled an estimate for interior painting for 8/20/2011 at 930 am ...no call no show.not good

Everything was done very professionally, from initially setting up appointment to completion of project. Very easy to work with--very accommodating. Especially pleased with the excellent job cleaning up afterwards. Area looks beautiful with its new paint job.

I love Painter's Delight. They did a wonderful, beautiful job with our home. They gave us a competitive estimate. The owner was extremely attentive to every detail. He and another worker did all the work. The work is beautiful. I still marvel at it as I turn the corner. They kept me up-to-date along the way. I had no complaints and will definitely hire them again, this time for interior work.

Painter's Delight did an excellent job. They fit us in weeks early as I requested on a rainy day when they couldn't do exterior painting. They matched existing paint perfectly on walls they touched-up. They cleaned up thoroughly. I had not used them before buy I would use them again.

We loved Painters Delight! Shawn was so polite and professional from the very beginning. Everyone we interacted with in setting the appointments and on the paint crew were all wonderful! We received estimates from three companies and his price was very reasonable. He was always on time for appointments and to do the work and his team of painters left our house very clean every day. Shawn was at our house and painting with the crew for most of every day. We felt completely comfortable with his team in our home. Shawn was also very flexible...we had looked into a different product than what he initially recommended to paint the stucco and he was willing to adjust his plan to meet our request. Also, after I came home one day and realized that I did not like the trim color that we'd picked (after they had already painted the garage door and front porch), Shawn was VERY understanding and patient with me in choosing a new color and repainting what had already been done. We really appreciated that! The work that Painters Delight did in and out of our home was spectacular! We have been so pleased and are actually planning to call them again very soon to do some additional interior painting!

My wife and I were very satisfied with their excellent work - the walls and ceilings really look great. This work was per Angie's List Big Deal discount program. Painters Delight was to provide the labor and the homeowner was to provide the paint. The total labor cost for 3 days was $1,018 and the total paint supply cost was around $400. The owner, Shawn Crome, and his assistant, James, were very professional and friendly. They covered the floor baseboards with tape, tookoff any electric outlet plate covers, and covered the work areas with tarps. They came on time, worked efficiently, and left the work areas clean. It took them three days to complete the job.

Shawn immediately contacted me to set up an appointment date to perform the work. He advised his schedule is very busy and we should schedule now so I could have an earlier date as he was scheduling approximately six weeks out at the time. He arrived at my house within ten minutes of scheduled start time. His work is wonderful. He is a perfectionist and very detailed. He understands the properties of various brands and types of paint and knows what outcome to expect when he applies the paint, e.g. how many coats will be need to obtain the wanted results. He showed me a couple of pin point flaws in my wall surface and asked if I wanted him to repair them, as it would take him a little longer or did I want him to try to get more painting done. I had no idea how long it would take to paint my kitchen and had purchased extra paint to have my frond door painted, if there was extra time. I decline the repair of the pin point flaws that I would have never seen if he hadn't shown them to me and hoped he have time for at least the outside of my front door as well as the kitchen. The kitchen as completed and he put three coats of paint on the outside surface of the front door, staying a little longer than my scheduled time to complete the third coat. He said the door really still needed another coat coat but I couldn't tell. After he got home, he remembered that he had forgotten to remove paint from the door window. He called me and advised me he would return on Saturday AM to remove the paint and since it was the outside of the door, he could complete the task without my being at home. He did return as he said he would. I took a vacation day from work to be home when a stranger was in my home. Next time, I will not worry about his being in the house alone. I found him very trustworthy. I told him that I believe its ok to have a break but he does not and worked continuously from start to finish. He cleaned every thing up when he left. I am extremely satisfied with his work and feel that I have found a service that I will continue to use and recommend to others.

Dwight was very professional and the room looks great. He even applied 3 coats because the wall was hard to cover.

Very professional. When he left there was no evidence of him having painted. He cleaned up all the dried paint that came off when he pulled the tape from the baseboards. I really appreciated this. I have already recommended him to my husband for his office. I will definately recommen him to my friends.

There's not much to tell since everything went so well. The did what they said, did additional work as part of the package, and offered helpful advice.

Shawn arrived promptly to provide estimate and the work was scheduled about a week and a half out. The estimate was about a day and a half and it was agreed that I would provide the paint and Shawn would provide everything else. He arrived on-time to start work on the two bedrooms and was able spackle and smooth over extensive pin and nail holes, dents and scratches in the drywall while putting on two coats of paint. Day two was the bathroom, doors and touch-up work. He didn't leave any messes including in the sinks and he effectively protected the new carpeting and flooring throughout. Everything looks great! I couldn't be more pleased!

They were very professional, responsive to our requests for urgent scheduling and pleasant to work with. They did a good job.

Last summer we began the process of updating our home in order to sell. We have done most of the painting ourselves but we live in a bi-level with a high ceiling area in the small foyer with awful 1980's wallpaper on the lower half from the previous owners. We didn't think it would be a good idea to try to navigate a ladder on the stairs or attempt to skim coat, etc, so we decided to call a professional. Shawn (owner) was recommended from a plumber that we found on Angie's. We then checked out the reviews here and decided to call for an estimate. Let me say that the process was great from start to finish. Shawn's assistant (Erin or Karen?) was friendly over the phone and answered all of my questions when I would call. For the estimate, he was able to come around 6p when both of us could be there. He was attentive and customer focused. At the end of his assessment for the estimate, he also left a folder with his Ohio BWC cert., references, and cert. of insurance. Nice touch. We received an estimate promptly after his visit. Shawn was always punctual and so NEAT during the duration of the job. He did grade A work! We were so glad to be rid of the funky wallpaper! It really helped to complete the new look of our upstairs living/kitchen area. The walls are very smooth. We never could have acheived that on our own. Also wanted to note that Shawn did not have a problem using the paint we provided for the walls. He did not try to push us to use his paint (although Sherwin Williams is top notch). Since we plan to sell, we didn't really want to spend that much on the paint. So professionalism, attention to detail, and quality are what you get with this company. When we do purchase our next home, Painters' Delight will be first on our list!

They came at the agreed upon time and worked for 2-3 weeks. All were very professional and painted special areas we wanted as well as well as the rest of the outside of the house. It went VERY well,.

Sean ( owner) gave an estimate and the final price accurately reflected the estimate, including the 20% off coupon for being an Angie's List member. He was extremely professional and courteous and he explained about his company and in detail how he would perform his services for which I would hire him. He arrived with a folder showing me his Workmen's Compensation insurance and references. I did call a reference and it was excellent. Sean was extremely hardworking, talented, industrious and courteous. He cleaned up after himself meticulously. He did a beautiful job and I could not be happier. Again, he has an outstanding work ethic. In fact, I love the paint job so much that I am inspired to paint additional rooms and will hire him again!

Shawn gave me an accurate estimate of the work I needed to have done. My foyer is extremely large with portions that were quite high. I had removed the old wallpaper myself. When they came to start the job we were concerned that the old wallpaper glue wasn't completely removed and would be a problem. Shawn quickly recommended that they use a coat of primer to cover the excessive glue that I couldn't remove. They finished on time and truly did a beautiful job. Shawn is very meticuolous about all aspects of the job. They were very careful and not only did a wonderful job painting but also cleaned up and left my home in great shape. I would definitely use them in the future.

He showed up on the date specified with the neccessary tools and equipment, which included covers and drop clothes. They started immediately, one working in each room. The work went smoothly and quickly with no problems noted. They finished the work in one day with excellent results. Job well done!

Great customer contact, very responsive and professional but we chose another company based on price.

They painted my deck last May, and did an excellent job. So I asked them again to paint the exterior of my house recently. It was Great again. Painters Delight did a superior job. I am very satisfied with the look of my house. they pay a lot of attention to details. And they painted the house like it is an artwork. Furthermore, the price is more competitive compared with 2 additional quotes that I got from the other 2 companies. This is truly a team which takes ownership and is very proud of their work.

They painted my deck last May (2009), and did an EXCELLENT job. My deck still looks great after one year. They applied 2 coats. The first coat was painted using small brush. I am very impressed by their working attitude and completed work. In addition, the price is reasonalbe, and it beats the other quotes that I got. I also asked them to paint the exterior of my house this year. As expected, it is A+ work again. I would strongly recommend this team - Painters' Delight.
