Painters' Delight

The guy who came out acted like he didn’t want the job because of the vaulted ceiling. He seemed very disinterested in the job. He also said he couldn’t do the job because he said my home was too old. We had another guy came out who said they could do the job. I wasn’t happy with Painter Delight at all.

It was okay. They cancelled the first time, they said the painter was ill so I wasn't very happy about that but they rescheduled quickly. I think what bothered me is they called me that Sunday night when he was supposed to be here Monday morning so I had already moved everything and all that. But they did get out quickly and when he came, he was very focused and he did a good job. I really don't have a complaint other than the scheduling. The work was fine. I would use them again I think. One thing is, I didn't think that it was really made clear that I couldn't use that for whatever I wanted, as long as it fit within that 8-hour window. To be fair, they did call the night before and not the morning of, and had it been some other service where I didn't have to empty my closets and things, it wouldn't have been such a big deal. I think they still deserve an A.

Professional & clean - replaced furniture & kept floors & counters clean.

It was only after I paid for the deal that I found out that they did not do ceilings or trim. This was very disappointing to me. That said, the painter arrived on time, was very professional, did an excellent job and cleaned up after himself. I would probably not use this provider again for the reasons stated above. I was never a very good painter and now that I am in my 60's painting is much harder for me. I have a couple of other rooms that I need painted but will try to find a painter who will include everything. I will be hesitant to use an Angie's list coupon again without calling the provider to find out the exact details of the deal.

Skilled painter, neat and efficient

Shawn's work is always meticulous, he is dry reasonably priced and is always on time. Shawn has overseen all of our jobs, and makes sure his crew completes the projects perfectly. I have had him paint for me several times and I will not hesitate to have him back.

Sean and team were great. They did the work while we were on vacation and literally worked around the clock to get the job done before we returned. Overall they did an amazing job and really transformed the house. It is about twice as bright now that they painted all that stained wood we had. They were neat, courteous and very quality focused. They were also the low bidder so overall we were very pleased with the value they provided. We would definitely use them again.

Everything went fine. They did a really good job of painting; they did an excellent job. I had some extra painting done. I would especially grade Dave Freddy, the guy who did the painting highly. The price was fine. The only complaint that I had would be that I asked them for an estimate for doing some additional painting and it took a long time to get that taken care of. He told me that they would get back to me on that when they came to finish the work. But I had to wait two weeks for them to actually come out and give me the estimate. It took another week to get it back.

This was a Big Deal. They responded quickly after the purchase and a work date was set. The worker arrived a little late, but reviewed what was to be done and got immediately to work. The kitchen wall needed smoothing before it could be painted and he did that first so it could cure while he painted in the other locations. He worked tirelessly finishing in 8 hours. The work was very tidy and neatly done. He cleaned his mess leaving the area looking quite neat.

Fairly punctual, very professional and honest.

Painters' Delight was AMAZING. We had another painter that was recommended to us from a friend scheduled to paint the rooms Thursday, October 3rd so we could move everything in on Saturday October 5th. On Wednesday, October 2nd, this other painter called to tell us that he had gotten overbooked and could no longer complete our painting before the 5th. I was scrambling to find someone to paint the rooms before we moved everything in. Painters' Delight was extremely helpful. They were very responsive and although they were completely booked, they still worked to fit me in. Shawn, the owner of the company, ended up coming out on Thursday to paint the walls himself! They even honored the other painter's quote and charged me the same price. He was extremely friendly and did a great job. He explained the reasoning behind which paints work better and why. He worked quickly and efficiently. He took pictures of the trim and explained to me that the trim would be a big job because it needed to be de-glossed first and then have at least two coats of paint. He emailed me an estimate that night and then had two painters come out the next morning to take care of the trim. This was another all day job. The painters worked meticulously and did a great job. In the spring I may be having some exterior painting done and Painter's Delight will be the first place I will call!

They where very kind we just could not get work done by Oct.11

We had used Painters' Delight before and thought they did quality work. For this job we wanted painted walls for our full bathroom and our half bathroom instead of the current wallpaper - which were old and peeling. We had tried to strip off the wallpaper but found the work grueling (we are in our mid-60's). We then decided to call the professionals. The crew was punctual (9AM - 5PM) and courteous. They stripped off the wallpaper. They applied the mud compound lightly over the entire walls because there were many imperfections on the walls. They did a good job sanding the walls afterwards for a smooth surface. They then painted the walls with the paint we provided per our contract. The job took three days. Both bathrooms look great.

I spent quite a bit because I repainted the entire inside of the house. I loved everything about them actually. They were extremely professional and really well organized. They did an absolutely fantastic job. They actually even helped with my paint complications. They helped me choose the colors that I ended up using in the house. They had a great team. They were available throughout the whole process. They do the work themselves so they don’t do any subcontracting. It’s their regular teams who actually come in and work in my house. They were polite, they were friendly and they were fun to work with. They just did a perfect job. I am already planning some projects with them in the future.

Purchased this as a "big deal". It did not turn out for me as expected and perhaps this was my fault. I underestimated what it would take to paint my living room with tall ceilings. The deal was $250 for a day of painting. I assumed I would have my entire living room painted in that day. It was not even close. I was so disappointed I hired another company to finish the job. In their defense, they did end up refunding me the money.

It turned out very well with Painters' Delight. We had a contractor come in and did dry walls, they sent Courtney and he was on time. He was on time, courteous, professional and did an exceptional job. He was able to get everything done, our walls and our trim within the time allotted and it didn't cost us anything additional. He was very quiet, we didn't know he was here, very polite and he was careful of our surrounding. I worked with Darrin to schedule the appointment and she was very responsive in calling me back and getting a time that worked on our schedule, there wasn't a large gap of time that elapsed. She was able to get us in fairly quickly considering the deal was offered to a lot of people. We probably are getting ready to use him again.

It was excellent. He was very nice, very professional and got a lot of work done in a day.

Courtney arrived on time and was very professional and pleasant. Worked throughout the day and accomplished a lot. I will definitely use him again and have already referred a neighbor/friend to him.

It was fine. He was suppose to give me a quote for painting the exterior but he never did.
