They are great. They do exactly what they say they are going to do. They are prompt and honest. I have been very satisfied with everything they've done.

Good. This is the second time I've used them.

It was fine. They were in and out the estimate was equal to the final price paid. They were courteous. They were on time and were respectful of my property and cleaned up well.

Actual scope of work and cost was substantially different than estimate. They did a great job with the slate repair.

This year they replaced 11 slates and renailed loose slates. They are very responsive. They always are able to find roof leaks. I've just been very pleased with them. I will continue to use them for future work.

We have used his services before. He is reliable and follows up on his work. The only drawback is that he is busy and it might take a while for him to get back to you, but it is worth the wait. His work is excellent, he is conscientious and has reasonable prices.

Their price was very reasonable for the work performed. We had a small potential problem, but they were really responsive and were able to fix it. They were just very professional.

One Red Slate (Steven May) was extremely accommodating. Steven called back to let me know they could come the same day to repair my roof, but I already committed to another company. I will definitely use One Red Slate for future repairs.

Steven is a very knowledgeable and professional. He also listened to my concerns and was easy to work with.

The company was quick and responsive. The job started with a leak, and they were able to send an estimator out within a couple of days of my call. He took a lot of pictures of the roof, then dropped off a CD with the photos and a lengthy explanation of the problems he'd identified. (We'd been in the house two years and never had roof work done). The price seemed reasonable. The workers were a little erratic (didn't show up one day due to a car problem, although they had left a ladder against the house), then surprised us by showing up on Labor Day) but they got the job done relatively quickly in super-hot weather. When I asked for a full description of the work that had been done (we can't see parts of the roof), the owner came out himself, thoroughly inspected the work, did a little hammering, and took time to go over what had been accomplished. I was quite satisfied.

He replaces tiles as needed. He keeps the price reasonable. He is a really nice guy.

Our slate roof is impeccably maintained by One Red Slate. This time, they fabricated some decorative pieces that went along the top peak of the roof, installed them and finally painted them to our specifications. Well done.

I called and made an appointment for them to do an estimate. He returned the call I left my gate unlocked and I never heard anything. I called again to follow up to see if they came by;no return call. I called Durable Slate they will be doing the work in the future.

We were having issues with gutter overflow, and he checked it out. He also checked our roof, to see if we would need new tiles for a renovation we are planning. He is always thorough, inexpensive and professional. He did not charge for this consultation (we've used him before, always been great).

STEVEN IS HARD TO GET A HOLD OF BUT GUARANTEES HIS WORK AND IS PROFESSIONAL. HE CHECKED ON HIS MEN REGULARLY AND SEEMED TO CARE THAT THE FINAL PRODUCT WAS GOOD. THE ONE THING WE DIDN'T REALIZE IS THAT OUR DEFINITIONS OF 'THE ROOF' WERE A LITTLE DIFFERENT. IT WAS PART OF AN ADDITION THAT WAS ROOFED, THAT WAS DISCONNECTED TO THE MAIN ROOF. SO THIS DISCONNECTED PIECE WASN'T INCLUDED IN HIS QUOTE AND NOT REALIZING IT, WE CHOSE A DIFFERENT COLOR FOR OUR MAIN ROOF. SO, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO KNOW THIS.

THIS PRICE ALSO INCLUDES REPLACING THE GUTTERING.

WE ARE PLEASED WITH OUR NEW SLATE ROOF. DUSTIN AND DON WORKED VERY HARD AND LONG HOURS DURING OUR VERY HOT SUMMER. THEY USED NEW AND USED SLATE IN DIFFERENT AREAS AND IT LOOKS GREAT.

ALWAYS VERY PROMPT AND ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP ME OUT.

HE WILL NOT CALL BACK AND WILL NOT COME OUT. I WILL NEVER USE HIM.

THEY SAID EVERYTHING WAS FINE, BUT WE DISCOVERED A PROBLEM ABOUT 2 MONTHS AFTER THE INSPECTION. WE HAD SOME LEAKING AFTER A HEAVY RAIN. I LEFT A MESSAGE AND ASKED THEM COME OUT. HE TOLD US HE WOULD COME AND TAKE A LOOK AT THE PROBLEM. WE HAVE NOT SEEN OR HEARD FROM HIM.

IT SHOULD NOT TAKE SIX WEEKS TO PROVIDE AN ESTIMATE, I DON'T CARE HOW BUSY YOU ARE.

I REALLY LIKED THE GUYS WHO CAME OUT. THEY WERE A LITTLE SLOW GETTING OUT TO DO THE REPAIR, AND I DIDN'T LIKE THE FACT THAT THEY WERE REPAIRING A LEAK IN THE SAME AREA I HAD PREVIOUSLY HAD THEM WORK ON. I WOULD NOT USE THEM AGAIN.

THEY ARE REALLY HONEST, THEY CREDITED ME FOR SHINGLES THEY DIDN'T USE.
