The repairman identified the problem and set up an exterior fan to keep the compressor cool and the refrigerator functioning until the part could be ordered/delivered from Youngstown. Came back and installed the new fan as soon as it came. Excellent service at a bargain price.

The repair was performed very quickly. Dryer is wedged into a tight spot but it wasn’t an issue. Repair took 15 minutes max.

The young man came and did a great job. He told me it was not worth the price to fix the washer, a new one would be cheaper. For the dryer, he cleaned up the lint trap and out the line and said that should help but problem was most likely the washer not getting clothes dry enough on spin for dryer to do the job. He got the left side of the stove to light! Productive visit!

Chris our repairman was great! on time very knowledgable and even fixed our bottom drawer of our freezer that has been broken for 3 years free of charge! great great company.!!

Dryer had stopped heating. Randy was very nice and efficient. He had to replace the thermal fuse. Took about 40 minutes. Second time I've had Northwest come out to my house for a repair. Several years ago they came out to fix my washer. The technician last time, whose name I don't remember, was also very nice and efficient. So if I need an appliance repaired again I would call Northwest.

Northwest Appliance called right after I posted a request for a quote. (Unlike the other three quote request where I had to do a follow-up call.). They sent Randy out a couple days later who diagnosed the problem right away as a bad evaporator coil fan. He was very friendly, answered all our questions and provided some good tips on appliance shopping. These guys are pros and I can recommend them without reservation. Total cost $285

He found a piece of plastic from the manufacturing process that was clogging the drain. He removed the plastic, cleaned up the ice that had formed. Problem solved.

The Vendor did not respond to a request for a quote.

I've used them on and off for (30) years. Over the time, management and employees have changed. In April, we discovered a leak coming from the front of the washing machine. They advised by phone what the issues might be. When the technician came, he was friendly and there were several things he did well. He opened the washer up and it was none of the issues he said he could be. He concluded that the problem was coming from the front corner where the detergent dispenser is. He advised that part was no longer available and there is no substitute part and that I was better off to replace the entire unit. He showed me on his phone more about the issue. I decided to look online and found the detergent dispenser and that he was searching the wrong part. I later called about having a the dryer vent cleaned out and addressed the issue with the washer. They were unprofessional and argumentative. They offered to send a senior technician out to check the washer when they were to clean my dryer vent out. I had (30) days to decide what to have done because there would be no service trip charge. When I called to schedule the work, I was told they no longer provide service for me. I asked that the owner return my call, which he never did. I eventually called back and spoke to the owner and advised he would no longer do work for me. My (30) years of experience with the company leading up to October 2018 have been positive. Problems will happen, mis-diagnois will happen and based on the way they handled it, I cannot recommend them to anyone.

Perfect. A real person answered their phone on the first ring! They had a technician in our area and sent him over within 20 minutes. He replaced the heating element in our dryer and had it up and running in less than an hour. I do not see how this repair could have been taken care of any better! I had done some homework on this kind of failure and am confident they did what was needed, no more, neatly and quickly. Can’t rate cost very well for lack of comparisons so just called it good rather than excellent.

Horrible experience. I have a refrigerator and stove that need service. I shared information on the models of the appliances and provided details on what was required on 2 of the 3 issues being experienced. After scheduling an appointment the following week and taking the afternoon off to meet the technician, the tech arrived with no parts for any of the issues. I was charged $150 to be told I was right on the two issues and that the third would cost more than the refrigerator is worth. None of my issues were fixed and I am out $150. I would not recommend this company for any reason.

Very well in both cases. Each tech was prompt, courteous, efficient and effective. The dryer had drum problems resolved with removal of excessive internal lint, balancing and lubricating. The dishwasher had a clogged drain that was cleared, cleaned and fixed as a result.

We have used Northwest Appliance Services before and as usual this time we had a great experience. The technician quickly diagnosed the problem and had what he needed to fix it. He was very informative throughout the process. He gave me the approximate cost prior to me making a decision on fixing or not, since the unit is 15 years old. The actual charge was right on estimate.

Our Kenmore refrigerator (Whirlpool) stopped cooling just out of the 1 year warranty. Sears was impossible to deal with (they wanted paid via credit card in advance and gave me an appointment for over a week out). After two days of trying to find a repair service I was referred to Northwest Appliance. They were nothing short of amazing. Someone knowledgeable who was not in a huge call center answered the phone. Northwest came out the next morning, accurately diagnosed the problem, had the parts on their truck and fixed the refrigerator. The technician was courteous, professional and very knowledgable. He also gave me some preventative tips to keep this from happening in the future since we have a lot of power outages. Excellent service and they now have a very loyal customer.

We called right after breakfast on Friday, and the technician came out right after lunch. He quickly located the leak in the water line to the ice-maker. A part needed to be replaced. He called back to the office and a second man drove the part out to our house. The repair was completed in early afternoon.
