Things went very well.1. I called for an appointment-----an actual person answered the phone.2. I was scheduled for the next day.3. Don was running 15 minutes late and I was called and reassured he would indeed be there.4. I asked Don to scan for viruses, take off a tool bar that I could not remove, and check the over all status of my computer5. He did as I requested and did a great job6. Don is very knowledgeable as well as polite7. I highly recommend this company

He figured out what the problem was & fixed while he was here. He didn't have to take it away to fix. He even said he could he help me find a new computer because mine is older & would even install everything for me. He's a man of his word & means everything he says. That's hard to find! He's just very dependable - any time I call him he comes over. Once I called while he was at his son's ballgame & he talked me through fixing my computer because he couldn't come over! Any time I ask him to do anything he always says "No problem!"

I was extremely impressed with his office facility. There was no inventory. They will come to your home or if you have a laptop you can drop it off. I like that they don't take people's computers and keep them for a week. I dropped off my laptop of in the morning and by 5:00 they called and said it was ready and I picked it up the next morning. They are very responsive, as in a 24 hour turnaround time. They're just great. You are just impressed because if they can get it in and get it out, they must know what they're doing.

I wanted to run ethernet cable to my living room, master bedroom, and guest bedroom because I was looking to rearrange and reconfigure my home computer network. I wanted to place my ISPs modem/gateway in my basement instead of in my bedroom where it had been previously and I did not want to rely on Wi-Fi from the basement up to the third floor bedrooms. Overall, they were good, returning emails and phone calls promptly and arriving just a little early to perform the actual work. They were also very polite and professional, which I always appreciate. On the flip side, I feel they were kind of expensive given the end result and final quality of the runs. When I hired them, I thought I would be getting much better and more professional cable runs than I could possibly do myself, but in the end only one of the runs was a little beyond my comfort level. I probably should have done at least two out of the three runs myself and saved my money.

Called and spoke with Don on a Friday and he sent Eli out to perform the work the next day. Eli was very professional and arrived early for the appointment. He explained different things to me as he was working. He installed the new desktop and made sure it was connected to the printer. He then worked on my laptop as it had been messing up by stopping, not printing at times and other things. He then checked the printer to make sure that everything was OK. He did not find a problem. He took the old desktop and laptop with him to do the restoring and said he would being it back on Monday. He returned on Monday with both computers. On Saturday night, my computer and printer went dead and I called to see if they could help me. Eli stopped by on Sunday and found that my surge protector had gone bad. He was nice enough to unhook everything and connect them to a power strip. A few days later he returned with a new surge protector and hooked it up for me as I am disabled. I was very pleased with the service. Don and Eli were very nice to work with. I will use them again.

My computer would not turn on even after many attempts to reboot it in various ways. I called and someone was at my house the next day to try to fix it. He spent at least an hour here reprogramming it and had it working, but within a few days it started doing the same thing. I called and once again within days they were here. This time he took the hard drive with him to do more comprehensive testing. Upon returning my computer and again reprogramming it, it has been working just fine.

Very good communication and timely service!

Outstanding experience overall. My desktop PC was having alot of problems - slowness, internet redirects, etc. The last straw was when my print driver disappeared and I could not reload it. The PC was picked up on Tuesday afternoon and was returned the next day (it was taken back to their shop since it takes a long time to run multiple scans to find all of the viruses). A different virus protection software than what I had was added to the PC. The PC now works great. The price was very reasonable when compared to some other companies. I would definitely use them again.

They came to the house and fixed the wifi and printer and took the desk top back to the shop to remove the virus. Efficient and professional. Good value.

I experience problems with formatting disks. It was a very simple solution which was handled quickly and professionally.

My laptop had been acting up, and despite two on-line sessions with a help-desk, along with everything I knew how to do, I was fed up. I called My PC Guy the Friday before the holiday weekend. Don was in my neighborhood and came over and picked up the computer. He said it had a virus in spite of all my precautions to avoid it. I went to pick it up Tuesday afternoon (Monday was the holiday) and he had cleared the virus, optimized everything else, and installed a different free anti-virus program. He would have dropped it off Tuesday morning but I was not going to be home when he was in my area. When I got it home, it was giving me error messages about my wireless connection, so I called Don back. He came out Wednesday morning and fixed whatever bad messages the router was giving me. He also gave me advice about what size and brand of Uninterruptible Power Supply to purchase. We also had an old computer that we wanted to get rid of. He took it (free of charge) and said he would make sure the hard drive was completely scrubbed and would then donate it, with all of its peripherals, to someone who could use it. There was no charge for this. The money was well-spent...computers are wonderful except when they're not, and then they're just really frustrating. Don removed all the frustrations, and he was pleasant, prompt, and very professional.

My brand new laptop had gotten drowned by water damage at my house, but amazingly it seemed to recover. However, I thought I'd better have it checked out in case there was some sneaky problem that would surface later on. Don ran diagnostics and did discover an issue which I might not have noticed until long after the insurance claim would be finalized. He then tried to determine if it was repairable, but it would require replacing the motherboard, which I decided not to do. Don and his staff were great, keeping me posted and discussing options with me. I would absolutely use their services again.

After they performed this service, the computers have been running great. It's like night and day. We had taken these computers in to another computer repair business and, even after installing more memory on one computers, they were just as slow. Mr. Wilson took the time to answer all or our questions and he was very professional and courteous. You also can't beat the price that he charged. I would highly recommend this company

Don, apparently one of the company owners, listened to my problem on the phone. He told me it would probably be best if he picked up my computer and took it to his shop. He arrived at my home when he said he would. He was professional. He called me twice to give me a progress report. He told me he had identified the problem and that he would fix it and it would be "as good as new". He brought the computer back when he said he would in a timely manner and set it back up. He did exactly what he said, and it is "as good as new." The price was very reasonable. I would DEFINITELY recommend this company and would use them again.

Called My-PC-Guy about 8:30am and left a voicemail. Don called back within half an hour, quoted me a price and explained that this job could best be done in his shop. I agreed, and in about an hour he arrived to pick up the computer. I thought it was unlikely that I would get it back the same day, but Don called me at 7:00pm and offered to bring it back that evening. By 8:00pm I had my computer, and it is running fine.

They were a little late but went right to work after they knew what we wanted. They ask for passwords and went right to work and did all we ask and more. Time passed and as it did we would think of thngs that we would want added and we would ask and they had already done it 4 times out of 5. When they were done they made sure that we coulx d use everything and that it worked before they would leave. All things being said, they were just what the doctor called for. We liked them and WILL USE THEM AGAIN.

Don arrived promptly. I had already saved my personal files and he told me that he would also have to reinstall several programs that would be deleted during the upgrade. He also checked my printer and wi-fi connection. It seemed like it all took a very long time but it would have taken a lot longer if I had done it and I know something wouldn't have worked. My computer runs much faster now and I'm very pleased with his work.

I called Don on Tuesday afternoon and he was here early Wednesday morning as promised. The initial service call expanded as a result of his initial visit. Two additional on-site visits were necessary within a three day span. Don removed the virus from my desktop computer...it was severely infected. He the remedied the additional problems identified while he was here. All problems were resolved by Friday morning, and the equipment as well as the wireless network now run well. Best of all Don quoted a reasonable estimate for the additional work and stuck to it. I highly recommend Don at My-PC-Guy!

Left voice mail for My PC Guy early Friday morning (before 8am). Had to leave for an appointment, returned home and had (2) messages from My PC Guy. Returned call, and scheduled appointment that day around 2:30pm Friday. Tech showed up on time, tried to run scans and correct issue. Unable to correct on site, had several stubborn viruses on computer. The tech took the desktop back to shop. Repaired and returned that Monday. Works great!

Don picked up the laptop, repaired it, and delivered it back to us within a few days. He also "cleaned up" the hard drive, and got rid of a couple viruses for FREE. Very professional, great experience. Hope I never have to use him again, but if we are in need of computer repair...he's My-PC-Guy.

I was quite satisfied with the professionalism and the way My PC Guy accomodated my schedule to meet me at his office on a Saturday afternoon when he's not usually in the shop. I would definitely choose Don Wilson again should I experience a problem with my computer in the future and recommend My PC Guy to anyone in need of service on their laptop, Mac or PC (yes, he DOES make house calls).

This was one of the best computer experiences. Everything was done remotely so I didn't have to take the computer into a shop and had it working the same day. It was so smooth. I totally recommend using this service for computer needs.+
