The men who did the work were prompt, courteous & professional.

The only problem I had was they gave me a quote over the phone for work to be done. They ended up only moving the bigger items and it was still the same price because the truck size was the same. Other than this they did a great job and I would recommend them. The price was reasonable for the work done.

I thought they were great! They were professional, fairly inexpensive compared to others, great to deal with and accommodating.

I called on Monday and they were available that Wednesday. I spoke with Judy who said the delivery would be Thursday. She called back and said they could bring it Wednesday, so I would not have to take the time from work. Judy faxed me all necessary paperwork and gave me a fee quote of $100.00. Per Mr. Mover's paperwork, I called Judy Tuesday to confirm Wednesday's pick up/delivery. At that time, I was told their fee would be $126 (hourly rate). I called Judy on Wednesday (first snow day) and checked delivery, increased fee (because of weather). I was advised they would still pick up/deliver and not charge extra, even if it took drivers longer because of weather. The pick-up/delivery went great (I was truly surprised) the driver made great time during rush hour in nasty weather. They movers had the chair in our house and in place before I knew it was in the door. I checked pick-up location (no damage to their house); no damage to our house or chair.

They were very professional and excellent. Did a nice job. Didn't scratch any paint. They knew what they were doing.

The crew of 4 came on time with two very large trucks (including a semi). They were friendly and courteous. They prepared the houses by padding doorways and laying down floor protection. The move took about 8 hours which is what they estimated. Everything got moved without damage to contents or the house. The only mishap was that one worker cut his finger with a box cutter; they didn't have any first aid kits on the trucks (probably should) and all my bandaids were packed somewhere. I felt that the whole group worked hard.

The two gentlemen that Mr. Mover sent were very professional and did everything we asked of them and more. They were very careful with our furniture and made sure that they didn't hit walls or anything. We were extremely pleased with them.

Pros: The actual moving day experience was FABULOUS. We were assigned five men and two trucks, and they busted their butts the entire day. Showed up at 9AM, and had our entire house loaded up by noon. Went to lunch for an hour, and showed up at the new house shortly after 1:00. By 4:30, they were on their way home. They were all very friendly, accommodating, and did I mention that they really busted their butts?!?! Cons: A little pricier than other two companies I had give us estimates, but I was so impressed by Chris Judd, who came out to do our estimate, I had to go with them. Out of all of our furniture, only one couch was damaged; a leather couch that wouldn't fit through the door they were trying to get it through. That resulted in the door frame and door being chipped and dented, too. Eventually resolved with two different contractors coming over to do the repairs. Still waiting (4 months later) to gain resolution for damaged bricks under the front doorstep.

They broke several objects including a large screen television by dropping it. They took apart equipment, denied they had done it and lost the hardware to put it back together. It took 2 months to have everything rebuilt. They packed things in an unprofessional manner, by putting things in boxes and not properly labeling them. The office staff continually promised to call and have their representatives call or show up, but they did not, and I was forced to continually call to find out why they had not. They still have not made restitution for all the damages they have caused and it is now 12 weeks post move.

The team at Mr. Mover did a great job. The pricing was good and they quoted to include items such as the trampoline, pool table and weight set which not all companies would do. The person who quoted came to see us and made a favorable impression. The team that moved us was very polite and professional and handled all items with care. They worked very hard and finished the job on time and at the cost quoted. They went out of their way to make sure that all items were placed exactly where they wanted. The only slight hiccup was when we discovered after they left that they had not reassembled a baby's crib and attached a mirror to a dresser. We called the office and within an hour one of the team came back and finished the work. All companies occasionally make mistakes but how they rectify them is important. We would use them again.

They were very friendly and helpful when I called. The owner (Terry Judd) came out to give me an estimate the same afternoon that I called (very prompt). He was very professional. Very thorough in explaining the care that they take during the move. I felt the estimate was reasonable given the size of our house and the work to be performed. Every time I called they were very friendly and helpful. On the day of the move they provided six men and two trucks, which were ample to take care of our move. The men all took time to introduce themselves before starting. They took care to un-hook the washer, dryer, and some other furniture that needed disassembled and padded doorways and railings as the owner promised. The process of loading the truck went very quickly and they finished in 2.5 hours -- well ahead of the estimate. Unloading at our new house went just as well. The men were very professional and seemed to enjoy their work. They took care and nothing was damaged.

However, they arrived at my mother's house later than the noon start time and then when my mother was driven away to the new house at about 2:00 p.m. the movers apparently had no idea where they were to deliver the furniture. They waited one and a half hours before contacting me (they delivered some packing boxes in Mount Vernon in the mean time), telling me they were in Centerburg, Ohio and didn't know where to deliver my mother's property. I was a little taken aback that the office had not provided that information to the movers, and they did not know how to locate my mother's new address even though it was only a couple of miles from the company's home office. After having left my mother's old house about 2:15 p.m. they did not arrive at the new address until 4:30 p.m. Imagine my surprise when they tried to bill me for the intervening one and a half hours. When confronted with the discrepancy, the movers did deduct one hour from the bill, but I was not pleased.

We have moved a few times over the years but this is the first time that everything went as planned. Nothing broken or scratched, no walls or floors damaged. Judy was very understanding even though we changed the date three times. Their staff was excellent and responsive to our needs. they did a very good job, and the price was very good.

They'd said they'd be out, and never showed up. We had put in a report with Angie's List, and the company immediately called us and apologized for not showing up. They sent us a bunch of coupons. We ended up having our friends move the curio cabinet, but we were very impressed that Mr. Mover made such an effort to correct the problem we'd had with them.

It went perfectly. Nothing was damaged and the movers were very efficient.

Everyone at the company, including the person that gave us an estimate, the ladies on the phone, and the movers, was extremely professional, friendly, and helpful. Boxes were delivered promptly. The movers did a wonderful job. They were on time, cordial, and very efficient. The walls and floors were well protected, and the teamwork was amazing. They finished earlier than expected. The empty boxes were picked up and a check (deposit for the boxes) was issued immediately. Overall this was the most pleasant moving experience we have ever had, and would whole heartedly recommend them to anyone.

The move went extremely well. It was very smooth from start to finish. Scott Judd came out to our house to provide us with an estimate for our move. It was based upon the estimated weight of our furniture and the time it would take to move that amount of weight. The estimate was guaranteed and would only go up at most 10% if the work took longer than expected. In the end the movers finished the job more quickly than expected and the move cost us $100 less than the estimate. The three men were professional, friendly and worked consistently through the entire day. I would recommend Mr. Mover to anyone.

About a half hour before the appointment the company called and asked for directions, which I thought was odd for a moving company. The man arrived and looked around, taking notes. He gave us a non-binding estimate, which isnt worth the paper its printed on. I asked him about tipping, and he said "Oh, you can tip whatever you want to, from $5 a person to $100 a person." I thought that was outrageous. He said they would pick up their boxes after the move, but when I asked him what to do with all the packing paper he said "Id recommend you burn it," which I told him was unacceptable, and which I found shocking in a supposed professional. I asked him what provisions would be made to make sure my wood floors were not scratched, and he talked about putting down "cardboard" and how "all our men wear tennis shoes," as if that was good enough. We subsequently had two other estimates which were not only lower but the reps had much better answers and gave binding estimates.

The majority of the move went fine, until they had to move the armoire. Two guys moved it out of the room and down the stairs, but when it came to them moving it up the other set of stairs, they basically said they wouldnt. I heard one guy say "this is a lot more than I was expecting Id have to do". They told me that the armoire would not fit up the stairs and even if it did, they didnt want the liability of moving it. At this point, they just moved it to the garage and told me theyd recommend cutting it in half (which I almost did). I was asked upon booking the appointment to pay the movers directly. When I started to write a check to pay them, they acted very put out because it wasnt cash. I explained that it was not made clear. After measuring the staircase and the armoire, I decided to call another moving company to see if they could move it and they moved it up to the room without a problem and were happy to do so. I wish I had hired them first.

The three men assigned, Jason, Patrick and Jason arrived on time, loaded and unloaded quickly and efficiently, so no damage to our goods or either house. They completed the work in under the scheduled time and the final charges were reduced from the estimate based on the the shorter time.

Came on time, worked quickly, did not damage anything, and were always friendly and polite.

They went on a Friday morning and packed everything on my apartment in about 3 hours. The guys packing were very careful and did a good job. They packed much better than what I would have done myself. I rented 43 boxes from them for $86 which I got back when I returned the boxes. Then a different crew came to the apartment on Saturday morning, loaded the truck with all the boxes ( 65) plus two bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry and garage furniture and appliances. They were very careful with the furniture and electronics and were quite fast. Before beginning moving stuff to the house, they installed padded protectors at the doors, stairs and corners. They moved everything to the house fast and carefully and did not scratch/damage anything. Everyone from their office to the movers was very friendly and professional. I had a great experience with Mr. Movers and I have recommended them to all my friends.

They are professional and efficient.
