They were great. They saved me money and time. The movers were very efficient, polite and helpful.

They were quick at getting back to us and seemed great. Everything went well.

They sent two guys and they did a great job of packing the truck and moving the really heavy stuff like it was nothing.

As they packed everything up, the weather was just a tad drizzly -- no problem. When they finished packing the truck, they took about a half-hour break, then met us at the new address. Unfortunately, by that time, it was pouring rain and wouldn't let up. The geography of the new house is such that they couldn't get the truck very close to the house. So it was three men getting soaked to the bone for hours, but wrapping the furniture carefully so that it didn't get wet. And they did it all with a great attitude. Impressive.

I used Mr. Mover for a 500+ mile move after interviewing several competitors. Pricing was comparable, but I felt more comfortable with a company that was planning to use the same crew for load, travel and unload, and that employs its personnel. Overall I had a fantastic experience. Packing and inventory took place a day before the move as planned, including assisting with a few bulky items that needed to be moved locally (very reasonable extra charge). Truck showed up on time the next day with a crew that was ready to work, and the company sent an additional packer to assist given the feedback from the day before (we were behind on some of our own packing, so we asked for more help than originally planned). Team was great - professional, courteous, very careful with our items. House was completely packed up in the time expected, and the crew picked up all excess items leaving the house in great condition. Same driver and one of the staff drove the truck to NJ, arrived on time a day later for the unpack, and very quickly and carefully placed the items where we requested. Nothing was damaged in the move, and our delicate furniture items arrived in the same condition as when they were packed. Overall I was relieved to have everything go exactly as planned, and I would trust Mr. Mover to do the same for any future needs. Thanks to the team for all of their help!

They were quick to provide an estimate after a walk through of the house. They explained that they do not contract with any national movers so our stuff would not be combined with another household on the truck, and would go straight to our destination, with a guaranteed delivery date, which is the most important reason I choose them. The quote was very competative, and the estimate was accurate as to the weight. The main mover was Greg, who I would highly recommend. The loading and unloading went amazingly quickly for the size of the house. One chair leg was slighly damaged, but they were able to repair it right then. Nothing else was broken. They were able to deal with a very steep driveway at the delivery end.

I suggest to not use their online contact form. I got a very short answer and it seemed like the person answering was annoyed I contacted them that way. I am disabled and it is hard for me to hold the phone for long periods of time. I like to do "research and contacting" via the internet first and then contact companies I want to do business with. They quoted me a lot of money and stated it would take 4 hours to move 10 pieces (large furniture) less then a mile from the apartment. They stated 4 hour minimum charge? (the company we did hire took 2 hours to move the items) I emailed them back with a response - asked if I removed items from the list if they would charge less? I received no answer. I was surprised by the lack of caring to gain our business. I realize we were not a thousand dollar contract - but it seemed like they didn't care? I don't think I will recommend them nor contact them again.

It was great. As always Mr. Mover showed up on time. The guys went to work. They did a terrific job. I have always found them to be professional and efficient. They are excellant at their job.

They were on time and finished on time. The service provided by Mr. Mover was good.

They were really good. They were prompt, had reasonable rates, and were flexible. I don’t remember about their professionalism but I was satisfied with their service. If we move again, we’ll probably use them.

The Good: - The company was responsive and friendly when coming out for the quote. - When we called with an issue the morning of move-in day when the movers arrived, the person on the phone was also friendly, responsive, and fixed the problem right away. - Two of the three individuals who moved us were hugely helpful, positive, and energetic. - One of these two (Doug) was all about getting the job done, quickly took things apart that needed to be disassembled, and then when moving us in, quickly put them back together properly. - The other of the two great movers (Shannon) is an early 20-something who works two jobs and literally hadn't slept in 2 nights, but was more energetic, positive, inspiring, and driven than the third that I'll save reviewing for below. - Only a couple things were broken during the move, which I think can be expected (in our case, it was two short glasses and a part on our grill that can likely be easily fixed. What Could've Been Better:- In the original quote, we were told there would be 9 wardrobe boxes delivered, but when the movers arrived, they didn't bring them. Whether it was a mistake on the part of the movers or those doing the paperwork was irrelevant to us. This just put off the start of our move till later than expected.- Also, while the move was on a Saturday, and I'm sure they were busier than normal, the movers brought a rental truck, and we were told by the employees that normally, a larger truck would've been brought along. This caused the move to take two trips and thus, last a little longer. It was to our huge advantage that our new home was only 3-4 miles away.- Along those same lines, while the move went relatively fast, in spite of the smaller vehicle, two trips, and later start time, when my wife filled out the final paperwork at the end of the move, it showed a "leave" time of 8:15am (with an arrival at our home at 9pm), and a "return" time of 5pm (they departed at 4:30p). We were billed for 8 1/2 hours, but "credited" for 45 mins for the smaller truck and issue with the wardrobe boxes not being delivered. Maybe I'm just ignorant to the moving industry, but 45 minutes to get from Huntley Rd to our house seemed like an extensively long drive...and then again, being forced into two trips with a smaller truck surely had to tack more time on than just 45 mins. - Finally, the third mover, which I'll leave unnamed, seemed to arrive with a "can't do" attitude. We understand that there are rules and policies that need to be followed (i.e. - things need to be in a box to move them), but this individual didn't have the best attitude and seemed to try and avoid work, rather than Shannon & Doug, who displayed a "can do" attitude. In fact, while certain things (we knew) wouldn't be put on their moving truck, Shannon & Doug helped us move those things into and out from our SUV. With that all said, there are some things that just don't fit in a box! I should also mention that the third guy was definitely nice, joked around, and he was friendly. We just felt that his attitude didn't reflect that of the other two, or an attitude the company would be proud of. Overall:We will consider hiring Mr. Mover when we move again in 3 yrs, but if we hired them again, we'd request Shannon, Doug, and/or someone like the two of them, we'd want to make sure we have the properly sized truck, and have the expectations a little more spelled out so that we know what to expect with no bad surprises.

It was excellent, better than expected.

We had prepped nearly everything to make the move fast and easy, and have moved 5 other times in the last few years. While the guys were nice thoughtful and easy to work with, they weren't fast, took smoke breaks often, and ended up costing us 2x what we'd paid formsimilar moves recently. Should have had three guys always working to get 'er done instead of five with one or two that seemed on the ball. Will shop elsewhere for the next move.

The arrived promptly. Packed everything into the truck nicely and moved me to my home. I was impressed with the speed of the work!

My elderly mother was moving to assisted living and I needed a mover to take the larger pieces of furniture that we could not move ourselves. I had used Mr. Mover for a move in 2004 and was impressed then, so I gave them a call for this job. Pam was very helpful when I called and gave me an estimate on the phone, since it was just about 12 items. I was able to schedule a date that was convenient for me and received an email confirmation a few days prior with an approx. time of arrival. Day of move went smoothly, they arrived on time and introduced themselves with a smile and a handshake. Barrett Watts and Steve (?) were very professional, courteous and careful with my mother's treasured items. They were also very patient when she asked them a barrage of questions (she has alzheimer's), and reassured her that her items would be well cared for on the move. They unloaded the truck and carefully placed her furniture where she wanted. They worked quickly and efficiently and the price was almost spot on to what was quoted.In the future, I will call Mr. Mover and will refer friends to them. Excellent job!

They did a swell job and they were reasonably priced.

Outstanding professionalism, care and pleasantness exhibited by all involved: the owner/estimator, secretary and 4 loaders: Chris, Rodney, Francisco and Steve. There was nothing missing, broken or damaged. The 4 movers were hard working, prompt and very accomodating and went beyond what I would expect movers to do for a client

Everything went well. The price was not out of line at all because we do not use people that were high; it usually had to be a fairly decent rate for it, which would sound awesome to our customers. They did a nice job.

Overall, a pleasure to do business with. I had 3000 sq ft, it was a lot to pack and move. They made it as easy for me as possible.

They were excellent. I give them an "A" overall and I would use them again in the future if needed.

They worked dilligently, kept on task and did a good job. They were friendly and explained things if we had any questions.

They moved the whole house. The service went very well. We have no complaints. They didn't break anything. We lived in Ohio. They came up there, boarded in one day and drove our stuff down the next day.

Called for an estimate and was so impressed I didn't get any other estimates. A crew of 3 showed up on time, polite, worked fast and did a great job getting my 2500 sq ft house packed onto their truck. Went a step further and helped me get a few things out and ready to be taken somewhere else. Very helpful staff. I've moved a dozen times and love how smoothly this went. My things are going in to their storage facility, so will keep you posted on that...I'm sure that will go as well.
