Moore & Sons Tree Service

I called for an estimate and received one two days later. They came out two days after that and ground out the stumps and left the grindings (at my request). Very fast and did what was expected.

Incredible service. We had used this company back in 2005 to do a similar service and were so pleased that we used them again in September 2007. If we were happy the first time, we were ecstatic this latest service. The owner, Terry Moore, is a consummate professional whose main goal is to make the customer happy. When Terry came out to do an estimate, I had asked that he take one tree down and he suggested against it because of the health of the tree (he was taking money out of his own pocket but he didn't care because he wanted the customer to be happy). The crew of 6-7 guys that perform the work are hard-working, meticulous and properly driven. They went as far as to clean the entire yard (and our 2 neighbor's yards) after they were done working. Fast, professional, clean and safe - we couldn't ask for more. If you need tree work done, you need to go with these guys.

Moore and Sons did a great job for us. We moved into our home and it looked like the trees had not been trimmed for years. Limbs were hanging onto the house and garage, and the birch tree in our front yard had overgrown its spot. Moore's estimate was the lowest. Their crew was out within a week. They removed the birch tree and trimmed the others and cleaned up completely. Other than the trunk grindings of the removed tree (which I expected), there wasn't so much as a twig or leaf left in our yard. I will definitely use them again.

Very high quality professional work.

Quick in providing an estimate. I like their honesty and expertise. They didn't like to trim my tree because it was 30% dead. They said to observe if my tree recovers and it's useless to spend money trimming if a few months later we have to completely remove the tree.

He sent out a written proposal. They were just great! He had a good crew that cleaned up well and were very polite, they really seemed to know what they were doing. He has good equipment that made the work noise be cut in half, and he even has a bucket truck, he is fully equipped! They had a reasonable price, and he also calls you before he arrives!

Terry went above and beyond his duty. The trees that he trimmed and shaped have never looked this good when other companies have done it. He is very conscientious, reliable, and thorough. I would recommend him completely.

They were prompt and professional in getting the estimate for me. I ended up using someone else whose estimate was pretty much the same amount. I do not have a reason for choosing the other company over them, other than "eeny meeny miny mo". Both companies seemed able to the work.

A bit disappointing. The Dogwood still needed some shaping afterward, and the biggest part of the job, the work on the Silver Maple, wasn't done as thoroughly as we would have liked. The basic problem was that this is the first time we have had these trees trimmed, they are very tall, and the impression I got is that I needed to police more carefully the execution of the work. Had I insisted then and there that more of the Silver Maple be pruned away from the power lines into which it has grown, I think the company would have done it. Only later did I notice that the work wasn't really done to my satisfaction, and when I called to ask the company to return, the Arborist became huffy, wanted another $100 dollars to come back, so we decided to drop it and use another service next time.

Great. They did a good job, we were most impressed that they worked so diligently and cleaned up so well. They were punctual and are excellent at what they do.

Good. We have used Moore and Sons regularly for tree trimming and any other tree concerns. Terry is knowledgeable and patient, work was done promptly and professionally.

I contacted Moore and Son's to come to my home to give an estimate on what we should do with our trees (remove, trim, which ones, etc). Terry came out on a Saturday, in the rain, and walked the property with my husband and I. He was very thorough and listened to my questions. He answered all of them and gave us an estimate based on only the work that was needed. He and his crew came out a couple of weeks later and completed the work as stated and left the work space very clean. I am extremely happy with Moore and Sons and will definitely use them the next time we need any tree work.

Very courteous and professional telephone receptionist. Prompt response for estimate. Good communication; called back with verbal estimate prior to mailing hard copy. GREAT PRICE! And best of all, they did a super job, exceeded our expectations, all without our ever having to change our daily work schedules. Everything was done on time. We never even saw them come or go!

I was pleased with the service they offered. They were quick to respond and had the tree out in a matter of a couple of days. It was a very large tree with power lines running through it.

Called Moore and Sons for an estimate for tree removal. Company returned call promptly and explained that it could not perform the work, because of the location of the tree. Company recommended another qualified contractor. I would consider this company again for other jobs.

What they did appears to be alright. They did what they said they would do.

Terry Moore responded quickly to my request for an estimate on some tree maintenance. They did the work within a week. They cleaned up the debris when done. I've used them multiple times before to maintenance my trees. They do an excellent job.

Quickly performed an estimate that was 1/2 competitors estimate. Called back the same day with the estimate. Service performed in less than one week from estimate. Wood neatly stacked, area cleaned up nicely.

The price was fair and the crew was great. The work was completed on time and less than one week after the estimate. A detailed written estimate was provided in advance. Terry Moore made the estimate and stopped by several times while the work was being completed.

Was not home when work was done. Trimming and thinning was fine. Could have been better clean up.
