Arrived on time trimmed the tree and took the bag worm branches out. Cleaned up all debris.

Excellent. They did great work over 2.5 days This is the 3rd time I have used them and they always have done a great job.

They responded quickly and removed the tree and did some additional trimming while they were there at my request.

Maplewood Tree Service did an outstanding job for us. We had a 60 foot tall old dead oak tree close to our house and the neighbor’s property. They safely, quickly and efficiently removed the tree, ground the stump and cleaned the work area. Besides a pile of ground stump you would have never known they were there. They were also considerate to our and our neighbor's yard. Other services I've had before have left big deep dents or holes in the yard from felling the trunk from high above. Not a single blemish to the yard. Our property used to be filled with ash trees. Unfortunately, they've all been removed. Maplewood has provided the best work of all the companies we've used. Excellent work and the price was comparable to other estimates I received be having the work done. I'd definitely have them back and would recommend them to others. Kevin and the guys were fantastic. The cost was $200 for grinding the stump down and removing the material. Although my met my time line needs, they had some difficulty. They expected to be here much sooner but due to an employee's illness, they had to delay. When I told them that I needed it done by a certain date, they met that. I started using them before, a couple of years back.

We had them in to give an estimate and the price was right. We went ahead with the deal and they said, 'We could probably be in tomorrow.' I didn't think they would be here that fast. I didn't even have time to put it in the calender. We came back from the grocery and the tree was gone. There wasn't a leaf left. We have only one tree left on the property and we don't want to take that one down. But if we had a tree, I wouldn't call anyone else.

Maplewood Tree Service was extremely professional, punctual and quickly accomplished the work at a fair price. There were numerous honeysuckle trees to remove and grind, all the stumps were quickly ground. The two fully grown mulberry trees were also removed. A dogwood was taken down, as well. We liked their efficiency so much, that we called again that week and had them prune our other trees, including a large corkscrew willow. All the work was completed quickly and perfectly. Nice crew and great service. We recommended them to my sister who also said they did an excellent job on her huge oak trees. Price is very fair for the amount of work required. We have been given a lot of quotes by a lot of other companies that were greatly inflated. Maplewood Tree Service was honest with cost, efficient and reliable. It was a pleasure working with them and we will be recommending them again and again.

Very professional. Brought several workers to do the job. Took three days. Very punctual. Very helpful with what needed to be cut down and what needed to be trimmed. Hauled all trimmings away and cleaned up. Ground trunks and hauled all shavings away.

I do NOT appreciate their high pressure sales approach. When asked to provide a quote, Maplewood showed up the same day (Good) but with an entire work crew, trucks and chipper. I ONLY wanted a quote. I did call their central office to inform them that we were going with a different service provider. Since then they have shown up at our front door twice. Once (about a week ago) they talked to my wife who was very firm and restated we were using someone else. "Oh we didn't get the message". Now today, and this time I told them no. "Well can you help us out and I'll help you out by dropping our price". NO we're using someone else. Hopefully they get the message this time. They may do a good job, other references and reviews say so, if you choose NOT to use them be warned THEY WILL BE BACK to try to take the business away

Maplewood Tree Service is the one-for-me...again! A lawncare service is scheduled to aerate/over-seed/fertilize our yard on Tue 08.25.15. I decided on Mon 08.24.15 morning that I should trim three trees to allow more sunlight for the new grass to grow. Was able to connect with George Mon 08.24.15 morning and said he could trim the trees same day to facilitate the lawncare service planned for the next day (very accommodating!!!). I agreed. George and his Professional Team arrived within two hours, trimmed/thinned-out the three trees and that really allowed a lot more sunlight to the yard and improved the look of the landscaping 100%. As with previous service, all were very professional in appearance and equipment. Cleaned-up and left the landscaping in great condition. I've utilized Maplewood's services before and will certainly again in the future. Hope your reading this will help in your decision.

My call to Kevin on Tuesday 05.26.15 was to ask for help with one of our trees that looked like it was dying. He said he?d be out to take a look either later (that day) Tuesday or Wednesday and would call in advance to coordinate schedules. I called him Wednesday morning 05.27.15 for an estimate of his time to better coordinate. He told me that a project had kept him away but that he could contact George who was also a great Team member and might be able to help sooner. I said okay. George called me within minutes of my call with Kevin to arrange a time to meet and discuss the project. He said he?d meet me between 10:30 AM & 11:00 AM the same day. George arrived at 10:40 AM as promised, looked at ?the tree? and said he thought it could be saved which was heartening to me. As well, we looked at all 16 trees and agreed the majority needed some work (after the Winter we?d had). George wrote an estimate on the spot. I agreed on the spot. George then said he could start the project within two hours. Ccnvenient for me because I was able to change my schedule to be at home while the work was being done. As promised George and Team arrived right on schedule. All presented themselves very professionally wearing Company T-Shirts and with well maintained trucks, tools and equipment. In my view, they worked quickly and efficiently. The entire team displayed great care for our property. By day?s end I had beautifully sculpted trees that positively transformed the exterior look of our property. I hope this review is helpful in your decision.

Kevin was great to work with. It took them two days to remove both trees. The one tree was very big, and there was a lot of cutting to do to get both trees into fireplace-length chunks. The price was very competitive compared to other tree services/aborists. However, I feel like the price is still too high for the work that was done (so I guess that's a commentary on the industry, not Maplewood itself).

I called on May 4th and because the estimator was in the area he was over the same afternoon. He gave me an initial estimate of $1200 for removal of my large oak only and I felt that was a little high. He then lowered it to $1000 which was less than the initial estimate with coupon. I felt that was a fair price based on other estimates I had gotten earlier. They came the next day earlier than I expected them and began to take down the dead tree. As they were working on that, I consulted with the estimator/crew leader about several other trees with arrant limbs and he initially offered to take down a largish dead sapling and trim 4 other trees for an additional $800 which I didn't feel I could afford, so we agreed on a little less trimming (one less tree) for $500 which I felt was also fair. The trees look great.

Very good tree service, climbed up tall trees to remove dead wood. Listened to what I wanted to accomplish and followed through.

The company was prompt and professional. The estimate from the company was $700, and the services performed were $1,100, much more than quoted. The price included removal of all debris. There was one large limb left by Maplewood in the backyard that I cut up, which should not have occurred.

They were prompt, they cleaned up after themselves and seemed knowledgeable.

I was happy with all aspects of this work. They were very responsive and often responded to messages within minutes. They were able to provide the service quickly and were willing to accept gift cards as payment to let me use a credit card even though they do not directly accept them. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

I had put in a negative review of this company last week, and they called me and wanted to make it right. They sent a different crew out this time, and the work was excellent. I truly appreciate the company's willingness to make sure that I was satisfied. All is good.

Maplewood Tree Service is the one for me! Certainly appreciate being referred to them by my neighbor whose exterior of their home (in my opinion) was transformed by them. As well, I felt they didn?t try to sell me something I didn?t really need. In my view: Quality People, Quality Process, Quality Tools, Quality Materials, Quality Work, Quality Operation and a Quality Guarantee. It all began because of tree limbs overhanging our roof It all started in early July 2014, with my neighbors telling me ?what companies not to hire? to trim my 16 trees. As well, I had 3 previous/horrible experiences with self-proclaimed tree experts that were anything/everything but expert (in my opinion)(damaged our grass and plants, didn?t clean-up, didn?t return to finish the project et al). My search this time for a tree service contractor took me to Angie?s List and my neighbor?s recommendation/my observation of Maplewood Tree Service? work. Because of that I decided to call them. Decided on Maplewood Tree Service My call to their office on July 14th connected me with Tracie. She listened to my request to have the trees trimmed. She said she would contact Kevin who would call me tomorrow Tuesday July 15th morning to arrange for an estimate. Kevin called me at 9:00 AM Tuesday July 15th. Said he?d be at my home and provide an estimate in an hour. 10:00 AM Kevin arrived. He was very professional, listened and didn?t try to sell me something I didn?t need. We walked the property asking what I wanted to have done as well as recommending/giving his ideas on what should be done. With that I told Kevin that based on the great job they did on my neighbor?s trees that I would defer to his expertise. He said okay, great. He provided a written estimate on-the-spot. I agreed on-the-spot. Started the project same-day Kevin told me he could have his team start the project same-day in-about-an-hour if that was okay with me. I agreed. Sure enough, within an hour Kevin?s team-of-three arrived. All presented themselves very professionally wearing Company T-Shirts and with well maintained trucks, tools and equipment. In my view, they worked quickly and efficiently. The entire team displayed great care for our property. By day?s end I had ?16 beautifully sculpted trees?, ?free from insects? that completely/positively transformed the exterior look of our property. Neighbor referrals A neighbor has already asked/received from me Kevin?s card for possible tree service. What a great group of guys! Highly recommend this service. They are prompt, quick, and clearly efficient. The guys were extremely polite and professional. They come in and get the job done with a smile!!!! Ask for Cody - he is the nicest guy who doesn't quit until you are completely happy. I will definitely use them in the future!

They were extremely timely with their estimate. They were even more timely with getting the work done, I think it was like a next day service ironically because they were in the area. They were by far the most financially manageable. Their prices, you just can't beat them. They were professional when they were out here. It was just a really quick, professional job. I would definitely have them back out. We're going to use them for another property that we might look in to fix.

I called for an estimate in the morning, and they were out by the afternoon to cut down the tree and complete the other work. The temperature outside was very hot, but they worked hard in spite of the temperature. I was very impressed by their attitude and professionalism! Thanks to Dave, Aaron, Buff, Dut and George!
