Maplewood Tree Service

Unfortunately we did not get the work done, the grading reflects the customer service and our experience, not the actual work. The quote they changed twice after I had accepted the original. The work was set for 3 different days that were canceled by the company the day of or the day before. I'm sure they give good tree services, but the change in pricing and inability to schedule accurately was just average professionalism and mildly inconsiderate. Overall, the customer service and service scheduling was a C level experience from customer standpoint

Excellent and prompt service. I called the office and received a call back from Kevin the estimator later that day. He was out to the house the next day and gave a quote. The work was scheduled and done well within a week.

Maplewood Tree service did an excellent job removing several decaying trees on my property. Kevin was straightforward and honest, and set clear expectations during the estimation and setup which I very much appreciated. The crew was courteous and efficient, and worked through a rainstorm to finish up on the second day. They did a good job cleaning the yard and removing most debris, though there were a few odd cuts and branches left behind. I will highly recommend them for tree removal and stump grinding, and will be very likely to return to them for future needs.

Went well! $850 for removal of large pine. Grind the stump and ground level roots. Remove shavings. They also removed an extra stump for us. Fast work.

They gave a reasonable quote, and did the job quickly and professionally the next day.

Excellent! Dave came out and gave us an estimate and scheduled the work within 2 days. Dave and his workers communicated the time they would be here, arrived on time and completed the work in the time frame they expected. Clean up was perfect. We will use them again. Highly recommend.

Maplewood Tree Service was responsive to our call for an estimate for some yard work. It included cutting down some small trees near the cable / phone lines, grinding down several stumps and removing a large section of ground ivy, pruning some dead branches from trees and other small items. Kevin clearly explained what they would be doing with each item so I knew what to expect. They were timely and completed the work across 2 days. Their cleanup was excellent and everyone involved was very professional and friendly. Their pricing was excellent when compared to other estimates that we received. I will be using them in the future and would recommend them to others.

Service went really well. Dave as well as the office manager. Big kudos for Dave for doing the service and for the requirements. The only negative point is when they give you a quote they don't accept credit card. Pricing was reasonable.

I am totally impressed with the work the crew did here! Kind, respectful men with great skills. Most outstanding was the clean up of the tree limb debris on the yard. They left my yard cleaner than when they found it! Maplewood will be my first call next time!

Work was completed exactly as discussed and cleanup of area was excellent. Service was quick and professional.

I called Maplewood on a Friday, and got an appointment for the following Monday morning. The shrubs I needed removed were as large as trees and I needed them cleared for a new fence I was soon getting. They came to the house when I was away at work, texted me an estimate with a good price, and I accepted. They were able to do the job the same day. When I came home from work the job was complete with all the debris thoroughly removed. I left the signed paperwork with payment for them to pick up the following day. They deserve an A+ for responsiveness. They were easy and flexible to work with and we were able to work through all the details via texting. They responded on my first call, after 2 different local companies I called prior never did respond.

I received a timely estimate and the work was scheduled within a week, Everything went great and the yard was cleaned up of any sticks or leaves.

I was in the process of getting quotes for this project. I remembered having used Maplewood in the past. Anyway, they called to see if they could come an hour earlier than our scheduled appt time. Dave showed up at that time and reassured me that my concerns would be positively addressed. Price was so reasonable I signed and the crew showed up 10 minutes later to begin work. 3 hours later the job and clean up was complete. I tipped each of the 4 crew members because of the great and respectful job that they did but most importantly that they get this difficult job done in this crazy Ohio summer heat and humidity. Peace of Mind! Great work Maplewood!

My initial call was good. The person I talked with indicated that someone would be out the next day to give me an estimate. The next day, I received a call (was not at home) to give me an estimate of $700. This struck me as very high (I have a lot with many trees and so have needed work done frequently and so think I have a feel for what a reasonable price range is. The firm I dealt with formerly appears to have gone out of business.) I indicated this; the person immediately responded by saying that he could do it for $500. This struck me as still pretty high, but I wanted to get this taken care of and so agreed to the second price. He indicated they would be back the next day to do the work. He called again slightly later that same day to indicate that they would do the work that day, but could I please leave a check in my mailbox for them to pick up. I do not view their handling of the price estimate or wanting to be paid immediately (or, potentially, without doing the work at all) as professional.

They were fantastic, everything looks great. Our spring clean-up done early. The price was great too! I would highly recommend them.

Tree was removed fine. Had some damage to surrounding trees and deck. It was to be expected but they avoided owning it.

They were wonderful. I called this morning. They did a quality and professional job. When it rained hard, they quit for an hour and then continued until the job was done at 6:30 PM. They did quality and very accurate trimming, cut the 2 trees to the ground, trimmed much more than I expected and cleaned up beautifully. When they were done I paid more than a 10% tip for the high quality work.

They did a great job. Kevin came out to give an estimate the same day I called and worked with me a bit on the price. They showed up with a bucket truck, chipper and a team of workers the next day - right on time. The work took a day and a half and they did a great job cleaning up. Before they began, they removed benches and flower pots that might be in danger of being hit. As for the in-ground plants/shrubs, they didn't break a single twig. As an avid gardner, this means a lot to me.

Work took two days. Professional performance. One tree wasclarge .alle overhanging house. Complete removal with no damage. Difficult access.

I called to get an estimate, they came out that afternoon and we agreed on what was to be done and they did the work right then. They gave a lot of great advice and were very professional. Loved the whole experience and would definitely use them again!!!!

Arrived on time trimmed the tree and took the bag worm branches out. Cleaned up all debris.
