Lance's Hidden Fencing

They are the best! I called on the weekend and they were there on Monday, fixed the collar and Sami was able to enjoy her time outside again! Did I say, they are the best? You bet!

Mike arrived on time and explained what he was going to do. He took his time locating where to run the wire. My irrigation lines where not disturbed and the job went well. He took my dog around the yard 3 times and explained how to use the collar and how to train her. He also gave a CD and a instruction manual.

An excellent job on all accounts.

Overall it went well. The tech who installed the cable and set the system up was awesome as was Lance. He spent time with 2 dogs and answered any and all questions we had. The training provided was good and enabled us to train the dogs. The flags were gone after 5 weeks and 7 weeks in they seem to have adapted well

They offered future assistance if I need any extra help, and they are nice and very knowledgeable about dog temperament.

It took several hours to bury the line. The installer was friendly, and he cut my cable line. Lance came out a few hours later, and like the other reviews this guy is super-powered. He trained our golden retriever with great enthusiasm and compassion, we participated. He answered every question, he also made sure we were totally satisfied. He did a temporary fix on the cable line, then Time warner came out a week later to fix it. Like most businesses on Angie's List, even if mistakes are made, the contractors stand behind their work and reputations. I thought I got a great value overall.

My family and I were thrilled with the service provided by Lance and Mike (the technician). Both service providers were extremely friendly, professional, and respectful. I would recommend Lance's Hidden Fencing Company to anyone interested in an invisible fence IN A HEARTBEAT. We were a little nervous about making this type of investment, but we are so happy with our new invisible fence.

They over-nighted a part to us to try and help. At the time we did now know about the compromised underground line. If I had to rate them on a 1-10 scale I would give them an 11. They are honest, reliable and very eager to help!

The installer worked with us to define the boundaries on our acre lot and had everything installed in just a few hours. Lance then worked with all of us to help us train Duke to respect the boundaries. This was my first time dealing with an invisible fence and I couldn't be happier with how easy it was, both installation and training. Lance patiently got to know Duke and worked to make him comfortable before beginning the training. He was extremely engaging and knowledgeable and my family and I felt comfortable knowing we were in good hands. I highly recommend Lance and his company!

When we decided to install a hidden fence I began researching companies on the web. I found Lances website right away. I reviewed the information and continued my search. I then went to Angie's list and searched there also. All reviews for Lances Hidden fence were great. But what solidified my decision was that our neighbors just had their fence installed and when I asked who did theirs, they told me Lance. They raved about Lance and his company. They talked about how wonderful the installation was and the training. So I called and scheduled the installation. I had a few questions and they were answered quickly. The installation was scheduled for a Tuesday and the timeframe was from 3-7. That included the actual installation and the training. The technician who showed up was on time and professional. My husband walked the property with him and he got to work. At about 5, Lance arrived, spoke with the technician, walked the property and then proceeded to begin with the training. We chatted for a few minutes about our puppy and just family logistics. Lance was very personable. Jake (our puppy) loved him. You could tell Lance loves animals. We were thrilled. Lance's training lasted almost 3 hours. We weren't expecting him to spend that much time with us but we were so appreciative. It didn't feel like almost 3 hours. It was very relaxed. We had causal conversation while continuing to walk Jake around the perimeter...teaching and training both Jake and us. Lance was very prepared and I could tell he has done this a thousand times. By the end of the session, I felt very comfortable not only with the product we purchased but also the brand we purchased. Lance instructed us on what our next steps were for training. Gave us materials to read, enough batteries for a year, a training leash, an extra collar and even some treats for Jake. After Lance was gone and we settled into having this new fence, I figured I would need to spend a good bit of time doing follow up training with Jake. The materials given map out the next few weeks of training. But other than a few times here and there, I didn't need to do any training. Now I will say that wouldn't be the case for everyone. We have a golden retriever and he is pretty laid back and learns pretty quickly. He was at that perfect age also...where he is curious but also a little unsure of his environment. I knew to anticipate certain possible problem scenarios where Jake might try to run through the fence and we worked with him on those. So far we have had the fence 6 weeks and its been the best thing we ever purchased. Not only would I recommend this company and product to others (I tell everyone I know) but we may just buy this again for my husbands parents lake house where we go to most weekends from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Its so affordable and works so well...I am just so pleased with the whole process and experience.

Went really well. The only complaint I would have is that the collars don't really give a big dog enough of a jolt to deter them after they become used to the fence.

I would highly recommend Lances for anyone wanting a hidden fence. This was our best experience dealing with any type of service we have ever dealt with. The installer was finished within 45 minutes, and Lance was incredible with our dog. You could tell he really loves dogs and our dog really loved him. He showed us how to work with our dog as well. He put so much time and effort into showing us how to do everything we need. If you have an issue with just replacing batteries, they send someone to help. We cannot say enough great things about about Lance and his company. Top Notch 5 star service.

The installer came out and put in the fencing quickly and painlessly. It was raining that day, so we had to reschedule with Lance. They were fine with that and he came on a different day and worked with our dog. The session was great and he answered any all questions we had about the fence or the training. Very pleased with his service.

The service was excellent. The workers were excellent. They were very polite. They left the area very clean afterwards. There were two workers including the owner, Lance, who came at the end of it. There was one worker that installed it. It took him about four or five hours to complete the job. They fixed something for free.

It went great. It was just what we asked for. It works. There were no hassles. They did exactly what we expected them to do and there were no surprises. It took a day for the installation and we didn’t have any issues.

Lance is great. He was able to install the fence 3 days after I contacted him on a date that worked for me. He spent plenty of time with my dog and husband to begin fence training. Lance is very personable and great with dogs. He even followed up with us the next week to make sure everything was going ok. I would not hesitate to recommend Lance. The job was finished with speed and accuracy. The instructions for the system were explained to our satisfaction along with the guarantee that if we needed anything we could call him any time.

My neighbor had their lawn aerated and the company happen to come into our yard and cut the electric fence. I called Lance's Hidden Fence and within 3 hours I had a return phone call from Mike and he was able to repair the fence that afternoon. Experience was great. The fence was promptly installed and Lance was very helpful and spent a good amount of time with us and the dogs.

Mike, who installed the new fence boundaries, and Lance, who trained the dogs, are amazing. Mike was on time to handle the fence boundary change and completed his work quickly and efficiently. Lance came later in the day to train the younger dog on the fence and patiently worked with the pup until the pup was well aware of the warning signs given by the collar and for the pup to understand the little white flags placed at the fence line. The pup took quickly to Lance's personality and direction. The older dog needed help with the extended boundary and Lance removed the collar and carried the 80 pound dog into the extended area. Once the dog was in the new part of the yard, Lance used his methods to make the dog feel comfortable in the space and to feel safe with where he was in the yard. Lance patiently trained me on how to change the collar battery and on the things I needed to remember about adjusting the small pup's collar signal as he grew. Lance is the best as was Mike. I would use this company without question. A+++++++
