Description of Work: Installed in-ground electric fencing around perimeter of yard, and in two locations inside the home. Provided all materials, labor and dog training.

Description of Work: Lance re-worked my hidden dog fence to my specifications after I was very disappointed with another (large) company's installation. He also provided exceptional service.

I found Lance on Craig's List and he shipped the package immediately after I paid. He flagged my property, checked my wires and made several repairs. He also left me stakes for the yard and a nice neat coil of wire that he cut and repaired.

Description of Work: I wanted to get several estimates for an invisible fence around my property. Lance's fencing was one of the company's I called. I have a half acre and wanted the dog to have access to the entire yard and not just the backyard or not just tethered to a 20 foot cord.

Description of Work: Lance first came to our home 5 years ago when we adopted a 5-month old puppy. He installed an invisible fence and worked with me and the puppy so that we could continue the training successfully. Two years later, Lance came back to our home to fit a new puppy with a collar, and to leave new flags so that we could train the new puppy. We have been very pleased with the invisible fence until a week ago when our younger dog started crossing over the line and challenging passing dogs. I immediately called Lance; he came over the very same day. He checked the collar to ensure it was in proper working condition (it was) and to ensure it was fitted properly (it had worked its way loose). Lance spent an hour and a half working with the dog to be sure he understood where the boundaries were. It has been a week since Lance's visit. The dog has not left the yard and has redeveloped his respect of the boundaries. I cannot thank Lance enough for understanding the need for immediate attention and for caring enough to come right away. It is not often that you meet someone who is as passionate about what he does as Lance is. When you hire Lance to install an invisible fence for you, you get much much more than that. You get someone who understands how much your dog means to you, and your dog gets a friend for life. I would highly recommend that you contact Lance's Hidden Fencing before you contact someone else for your invisible fencing needs. You will not regret it.

Description of Work: Installed electrical fence on our property and provided training for our dog and us on the fence.

Description of Work: Lance installed an electric fence around both front and back yards and then, trained both us and our dog on its use. On the first visit, he did the ground installation and set up the little "alert" flags around the yard's perimeter. He then came back a couple of additional times over a two week training period.

Description of Work: Lance buried the wire for the fence, installed the control box, put collar on our dog Waldo and worked with Waldo to get him acclimated to the fence and collar. He returned to give Waldo additional training. Lance was very careful when near buried utilities, where necessary made inconspicuous cuts in the driveway and neatly filled them after installing the wire. His equipment cut the sod smoothly and left just a trace where he had buried the wire.

Description of Work: I called Lance's Fencing to obtain a quote on installing an invisible fence around my property (.4 acres) for two dogs. Upon agreeing on the cost of installation, collars, type of fencing, and training, it came out to about $1100. Lance came to my home three times; initial meeting, installation and first training, and follow-up training. Prior to installing day, he contacted the city to check on utility lines. He then installed the cable along the perimeter of the propriety, drilled a hole to run the cable from the garage (sensor box) to the rest of the property, provided us with a an explanation of how the system works and helped with training on two separate occasions. He will be returning to seal the cables on my driveway/walkway.

Description of Work: Lance has provided a collar for our new dog, flagged our yard, provided replacement batteries and trained our two dogs.

Description of Work: I did not hire Lance, but his professionalism was great, he was prompt on responding to my initial inquiries and from our many phone conversations was very experienced in his field. The only reason I didn't go with him was that I wanted to have instant replacement on the shock collars should one break down or be faulty. This would have to however be sent back to the company Petsafe.
