Lance's Hidden Fencing

Installation went smoothly. The Big Deal that I purchased included a training DVD and booklet, but didn't include individualized training. Additional help was available, but I didn't need it. The materials were easy to use. The only issue that occurred was the next summer during a dry period the trenches where the wires were placed, gaped a bit. Once the grasses had a chance to knit together, that went away. When Lance read my initial review, he was concerned that he had not provided the service I expected, so he contacted me and stopped by. He was very personable and made sure my equipment was working properly and showed me a few things I might do to keep up my dog's adherence to her boundaries. He gave me some additional batteries and another collar. Obviously, he cares a lot for the satisfaction of his customers. I would certainly recommend him to anyone who needs this service.

They showed up on time. The work done was professional and quick. We have fixed this ourselves in the past and we had tried to fix it ourselves this time but had no luck. This company does a great job and they have great prices. I will never fix it myself because their prices make it worth it for me not to hassle with it.

When Lance first installed electric fence he explained that we might need to exchange out collar for a stronger sensor= called am and Ryan responded immediately to come out that evening Ryan talked about other options of moving the wire if needed but suggested we try new collar first Great team at Lances that care about the service they provide to clients

I couldn't be happier with the service we got from Lance's Hidden Fencing. The installation was prompt and clean. Lance came a few days later to train our dog and took a lot of time with her and explaining the process to us. Our dog was very comfortable with him and she caught on to the concept very quickly. Lance explained our next steps and provided us with many tools should be need additional information. And of course he encouraged us to reach out to him at anytime. The past couple of days have gone very smoothly with our dog and we feel confident that we have the tools to progress in her training without additional help. The price is very reasonable and less than others that I priced. I highly recommend Lance and his crew to anyone considering an electronic fence.

He was great - there were a couple of pretty big spots by the driveway that I am still trying to get grass to grow back in. Otherwise great service and office staff.

Went amazingly well. Actually felt bad, he came out on the the morning of Father's day. but I had just moved and needed this done before the rest of the family arrived. Lance was here just a few hours, got the job done well, left the training materials (my choice) Smooth transaction. Lance, was very professional. Would use again.

Well. However one dog developed chronic illness and I decided not to use fence. This was not the fault of installer. I am very satisfied with the product and service.

Lance's partner Rob came in the AM and installed the fence. We were moving and had Rob, Direct TV and Cincinnati Bell here as well as movers. We showed Rob what we needed and he went to work; we didn't have to worry about anything. Then Lance came once everyone was gone and trained us and our 2 dogs. By the time he was finished, the dogs knew their boundaries and were ready for us to take over. We've had no trouble to date. And the dogs have adjusted well-our other yard was fenced in with an actual fence. The cost was reasonable

I agree with all the other reviewers....Lance and his crew are phenomenal! Seriously, do not even waste your time getting estimates from any other invisible fencing company. We adopted a 5 year old rescue lab and Lance fit us into his schedule immediately. I was impressed he was so accomodating since I am in Cincinnati and he is based in Columbus. Ryan did the installation...the yard looked completely undisturbed and the garage where some of the equimpent was installed was spotless. Lance showed up on time and eager for our training session the following day. Lance uses positive reinforcemnet techniques and our dog caught on very quickly. He stayed about 2 hours and gave great tips. I was amazed by how he read our dog's body language and adjusted the training based on our dog's reactions... things I would never notice on my own. Lance was very professional, wonderful with our dog, and just an all around good guy. The price can't be beat as well...he was at least $400 cheaper than some of the other places I called. So overall, great company, great expereince, and a very satisfied customer!

The installers worked with us to install the fence to the specifications of our yard. The were careful to work around our irrigation system. Lance returned in the evening after I was home from work to train us (and our Boston Terrier). Lance was very professional and worked very well with our dog. We got everything we needed to train our dog to the system, including a bag of training treats!

Lance was pleasant and trained our family dog and our family how to use the invisible fence. Our dog has done well and now enjoys our yard and we don't worry about him chasing the mailman.

Lance is always great to work with. He installed and trained our wheaten terrier to an electric fence last fall. Our wheaten can be difficult to work with, but Lance was fantastic with him and had him trained to the fence in no time....I couldn't believe how fast and well he worked with our dog. We have since gotten a puppy and Lance came out and trained her to the fence. While she took a little longer to get it, he was friendly and enthusiastic during the whole (very hot) training session with her. Since we already had the fence, the cost reflects the training session and an additional collar.

Lance was very accommodating and did an excellent job. He made sure all our questions were answered and that our dog understood the boundaries of the fence. Would highly recommend that new customers opt for the training session - he's an excellent trainer.

They did a great a job and everything went fine. Everything was cleaned up after they finished the job. They laid part of a line to a block top that was well sealed and had to drill thorough the garage to get in to the electric that was done with extreme care. I was really pleased with the service.

They were very well organized and punctual. They arrived when they scheduled and Lance and his crew were very personable. They spent significant time and effort not only with the installation, but also with the training of our dog.

Lance was great! Easy to schedule & very responsive! We paid for an additional dog, as well as one training session. The training was very helpfu. l & I would recommend. We've had the fence now for several months & our dogs are doing great with it (we have 2 older Labradors that are still very energetic!). In our previous home, we had a physical fence, so this was a first for our dogs. We've had a couple of times where they have broken through but that was early on & our one dog needed a stronger collar - which Lance provided us! It's been so nice having the dogs be able to enjoy the whole yard, as well as not having to worry about them getting out the front door anymore when someone comes in. We would recommend Lance to anyone who is considering a hidden fence!

Lance came Friday late afternoon and installed the invisible fence. He explained everything that he was doing and why, and was very thorough. He cleaned up the area and did a very good job. We can't even tell where the fencing was put into the ground. Lance then worked with our puppy training him where he could go and where he couldn't. I would recommend Lance's Hidden Fence to anyone interested in having an invisible fence installed. He's was very easy to work with and also good with our Golden Retriever. Thanks Lance.

The installation went great. I was surprised that you couldn't tell where the line was buried. It didn't disturb the lawn at all. I was very impressed with Lance and the time and care he took with me and in training my dog. He went above and beyond in staying around on a Friday night to make sure my dog and I were comfortable with the invisible fence.

Outstanding! The installation was done quickly and with great concern for cleaning up and hiding the equipmant. Lance spent 2 hours with us to train our dog, Great guy great service and way cheaper than the 'big guys' in the business!

I was a bit skeptical as Lance's Hidden Fencing was about half the price of Invisible Fence. However, I had heard some good things about Lance through some of my neighbors who had utilized his services, so I thought we'd give it a try, and boy, we were not disappointed. Lance had a young man come out on a Friday to do the install. My wife was very pleased with his professionalism and he took time to explain everything he did. The following Monday, Lance, himself, came out and spent over 2 and a half hours with my family and little bichon. He first made our pup very comfortable by playing with her on her level. He is truly the "dog whisperer". He then very patiently explained to us on how to make the yard a safe happy zone for the dog, while at the same time showing us how to get our dog to respect the fence without associating the occasional zap to one of us. Lance then came for a follow up a few days later and spent another hour with the dog. We would highly recommend using Lance for any of your invisible fencing needs, and at half the cost of the big guys. Also, Lance was very prompt, courteous and had a natural animal humor that made all of us comortable during what could have been a stressful time. Use him, you won't be sorry!

It was amazing. The most amazing part was the training that he did with me and the dog, which was about 3 hours.

Lance did a great job! I had used Lance once before many years ago when he was with another company. I always knew when I moved and was ready for a fence I would call him! He was extremely responsive getting back to me on a quote. I believe his guys came the very next day after I called or at least shortly after I called. Lance installed the system himself and did a great job. He spent time with each of my dogs teaching them the boundaries and making sure I was comfortable before he left. I have already recommended him to my neighbors and would recommend him to anyone who wants a quality installation, an individual who truly loves animals and someone you can trust if you have any problems in the future. Thanks Lance! My dogs love the freedom of being outside now.
