Description of Work: They did a whole home inspection, radon test, and septic inspection. It went very well and Jeff was very informative.

Description of Work: Mike came and performed a home inspection for us. Our appointment was at 10:00, and he was there waiting for me when I got there. He walked me through the entire house, pointing out the minor issues and even things for me to look out for in the future. He took lots of pictures, I just wish they were a better quality when he put them in the report. But other than that, he was great.

Description of Work: Home inspection and radon testing prior to purchase. Inspection went well both Ken and Mike were informative and they were able to get the report completed the same day. Only minor issue related to responsiveness of confirming inspection date and time.

Description of Work: Professional and thorough home, well, and septic inspection and radon testing. Chris was personable and moved through the inspection at a pace that was comfortable for us. He was good at explaining how/why things had occurred, how to remedy and how to prevent reoccurrence of issues related to the home which had some "deferred maintenance" issues. Our only pick on Kustom Home Inspections would be with their responsiveness. My husband called after business hours on a weeknight and left a message asking for a return call the next day. He had to call them back the next day because that return call hadn't come by 11:00a. Overall we were very pleased and would recommend Kustom Home inspections.

Description of Work: We used Kustom House for 4 inspection during the period of July2013-September2013. Ken was upfront with his inspections and always watch our back when problems developed. He work with us on pricing after the second house fell through do to home owner not wanting to fix the areas.

Description of Work: We contacted Ken for a home inspection on a house that sat empty for years. Ken and Chris came to the house and quickly found mold. Chris completed the inspection and we received the complete report that night. Based on the inspection we saved ourself a lot of future problems. The buyer refused to follow through with the recommendations and mold remediation suggested by Kustom Home Inspections. We have walked away from the home and couldn't be happier with the inspection. We will be using Ken and Chris again soon for our new home.

You can tell he has been doing this for years. He actually teaches classes for inspectors! Ken really took his time and went through the home top to bottom. He carefully explained all problems that he found and how to remedy. The inspection was e-mailed to us by 10:00 that very evening! I would use him again and recommend him with enthusiasm.

Description of Work: We actually had them do two inspections. The first inspection uncovered issues which made us decide to not follow through on the home purchase. Right there, they saved us money. The second inspection went as well as the first, and we would highly recommend Ken and Chris to anyone looking to have a home inspection.
