Description of Work: We purchased 3 rugs from Menendian Rug Gallery. We were able to bring the rugs home to see how they looked in the space. The staff was most knowledgeable and helpful in suggesting patterns/colors that would work nicely with the wallpaper and the design of our home. We have routinely used the cleaning services. Description of Work: I had two large handmade orientals and one medium sized machine made oriental cleaned and deodorized. I used the pick-up and delivery options because my rugs were large, although it is cheaper if you are willing to do the transportation yourself. Two employees came and were very careful moving furniture and rolling up the rugs; when they returned them they put them back in place and replaced the large pieces of furniture. I found a coupon in one of the circulars, so I used that also. The rugs look great!

Description of Work: This is a follow up to my last report on Menendian. I received a call from Brent saying he apologized for the substandard service and asked what would make me happy. Since they did a good job cleaning the rugs, I just asked for a reduction in price. He agreed and we set the price back to the original quote and he sent a check for 143.00 to me. I am satisfied now but in the future, I will make my wishes known upfront.

They did a good job, and I got them back quickly before Thanksgiving, and they even did some repairs on one rug. They put a new fringe on one of the rugs and did a beautiful job on that too. They did a beautiful job of cleaning the rugs. They look like new.

I was pleased with the cleaning of the rugs. I have used this company before and have always been satisfied. They are very knowledgeable about Persian rugs and conscientious in their care of them. Whenever I bring rugs to them, I tend to work on any stains at home with a gentle soap and then immediately bring them in for cleaning. I pretreat stains myself because I have found that I am more persistent than them in getting stains out.
Description of Work: Cleaned a large and a small Persian rug. Cut new rug pads for both the rugs.

Phil Menendian and Nica Langdon were extremely easy to work with. Nica especially was helpful in providing examples of the wool, explaining the difference in rugs, keeping me up to date on the rug's production in Nepal and in handling my questions. She notified me promptly when the rug arrived and, when we noticed an imperfection was very good in dealing with it. This is an expensive purchase for me and Nica made me very comfortable with the process. They have an excellent sales policy, allowing me to see rugs in the house before making my purchase. They also have a great-sounding return policy -- that hopefully I won't have to use.

AFTER FIRST ATTEMPT THE RUG CAME BACK WITH STAINS IN THE FRINGE. THEY RETURNED AND RECLEANED THE RUG TO REMOVE THE STAINS.
